Victor is barking orders on the phone at his ornate mansion. Lady of the manor Maggie sweeps in and wonders what all the night shouting was about. She refuses to be dismissed, already aware the matter is about Mel and Brady. The Greek grimaces. Dan walks in and adds he knows that much too ... Back at the castle there is yellow tape one can see and also red tape one cannot see. Marlena and Brady await the return of Melanie and Theresa, who are still giving their statements. Mel now runs into Brady's arms and Theresa gets shrill about her baby, who has not been returned to her ... Back in Salem, soulful Chad remembers his recent moment with Abigail but is astonished to find Stefano waiting for him at the mansion, wearing a suit and red tie. Stefano mutters he had to come to give him news and it is not good. He is holding a picture of Kristen in his hand ... Zander opens his door to Serena and acts seductive ... Nicole summons Eric to her office. She has something to say to her friend but first he has something to present her with ... Dan informs his mother that Rafe is helping with FBI contacts. Mel and Brady wound up at a DiMera castle on the Italian coast. They want answers. Victor announces Kristen DiMera is DEAD! A slick representative of the Italian government appears with an update for the anxious castle crowd, who fear there could be fallout. He assures them no charges will be laid for the death of Clint the criminal or the disappearance of Ms DiMera, not to mention illegal entry into Italia, provided they sign an agreement not to speak of this matter to anyone. He also apologizes for the wrong committed against the real parents of the baby boy. Theresa screams she wants her baby and he is placed in her arms by a policeman. Marlena is relieved she is not being unfairly charged with murder. In Italia no body means no crime... Chad is crushed when Stefano confirms his sister is dead. He urges his son to say nothing to no one. He is now his only child and they must stick together ... Caroline is back at the Brady pub reading the mail she missed. She sees a newspaper headline about Will taking one for the team and is troubled ... Serena is perturbed and feeling the pressure of Zander staying in Salem knowing her secrets. He drawls the diamond inventory will be done soon but makes no promises. Serena leaves her former flame's room even more frustrated than before... Eric sweetly gives Nicole an old beach photo of herself. She thanks him and he assures her he wants only the best for her and Dan, believing himself to have found his soul mate in Serena. Nicole pretends it was her problems with Dan that made her summon him and stops short of saying what she overheard between Serena and Zan. After Eric gets a call and goes on his way, she leaves the office for some much needed fresh air .. After Brady has signed on the dotted line, he gets a call from Victor, who puts the call on speaker phone. The billionaire heir points out the police are present. He confirms that Kristen is gone and they are all healthy and homeward bound. Victor takes back the phone and growls what is Theresa doing there too! The truth is he already knows about the baby but says nothing to Brady, believing it to be a bad thing that Theresa is the mother ... In the castle, new mom Theresa cuddles Christopher, gushing he has the best daddy. Marlena smiles. Mel watches with worry ... Victor has decided to contact the State Department, to ensure a smooth return from the continent ... Theresa thanks Mel profusely for the part she played in finding her baby. Marlena warmly holds the new grandchild in her arms ... Stressed Serena decides the time has come to depart from Salem with a certain someone ... Caroline visits Will, confused and seeking clarification. Will confesses he messed up but he and Sonny are committed to saving their marriage. They have even been speaking about couples therapy. Caroline exclaims to do it instead of talking. Will alludes to Victor not approving. Caroline muses she messed up in her marriage as well and pay no mind to that big mouth ... The castle gang board a commercial flight to the U.S. The parents were given seats together and the baby travels on mom Theresa's lap. Meanwhile Mel and Marlena are seated in another aisle. Theresa wants Christopher's name changed for it sounds too close to Kristen. The baby cries on the flight until Brady holds him, gushing he has so much family looking forward to meeting him. Theresa gushes Brady will be a great dad ... At the club, Serena checks her latest email job offers and calls to accept that job in Honolulu. Nicole enters in time to overhear ... Abi knocks on the door, insisting she and Chad must talk! Chad opens it slightly and says to go away. Abigail wants to talk, then realizes something is wrong. Chad looks back, bewildered that father phoenix has pulled another disappearing act ... Stefano gets a condolence call from, Victor, who is sorry for his loss and insists his grandson is not to blame. Silence ...Victor now summons Zander to the mansion and asks him to stay in Salem with his ... skills ... for Brady's sake. Zander proudly promises he will remain as requested, loyal soldier that he is ... Maggie and Dan have heard from Mel and update Eric, who was worried about his mother. They assure him everyone is safe and sound and homeward bound. The redhead exits and Eric brings up Nicole, how he may have been harsh on her. Dan sighs he still wants them to work it out and uses the L word ... Nicole gets sarcastic about throwing Serena a farewell party. Serena smugly states Eric is coming with her. Nicole protests. Serena accuses her of still wanting Eric. Nicole dramatically declares she knows what she is really up to ...! THE END |
