Kristen plunges down down down as her blood curdling scream fades away. Marlena stands at the window. It cannot be! Brady rushes in and also looks down. The he rushes outside to investigate ... Theresa gets confirmation from Mel that is her baby and Theresa smiles a mother's smile. She tenderly touches her baby boy, whispers hi and emotionally picks him up. She and Mel start to leave but Mandrake's hand grabs Mel's foot like the monster in a horror movie. Theresa kicks him in the face and he is out cold again. Mel is impressed and they exit together ... Jen calls Dan from Horton house, explaining she cannot see him today as something came up. Dan sounds disappointed ... JJ and Paige plan to spend the whole night together in their hotel room. No secrets so she leaves roommate Daphne a message about not coming home. JJ decides to do the same but is bothered by the message he has been sent by Jen ... Eve drowns her sorrows at the new club, complaining to nearby Rafe that she really hates hearing the guitar tuner. It reminds her of someone ... Slick Rafe is sorry about that but suggests it is unwise to associate others with the unhappiness caused by one ... Serena sits at the pub with a glass of red wine, remembering how Zan seduced her long ago. First he seduced her into his bed and then he seduced her into his dangerous scheme. At least it all ends tonight but where oh where is he?? ... Nicole is in her office obsessing over the last time she stormed away from Dan. Knock knock! Tis Zan, smoothly suggesting she let him help smooth things over with Dan. He slips in that his attraction to her must have been evident. Nicole says thanks but not necessary. He drawls she knows where to find him, she deserves the best, and slithers out ... Marlena flashes back to her long complex history with Kristen, the times Kristen wanted her dead, the times Kristen dared her to kill her. She blinks back to reality, unable to believe that Kristen could be gone. Not that one ... Mel and Theresa+baby join Marlena,wondering what happened.The soap heroine admits Kristen took a tumble ... Brady comes running back and cannot help but notice Theresa holding their baby boy. Marlena asks for an update on what he discovered. That there is a 100-foot drop to the bay with cliffs and currents no mortal could have survived. Gasp! ... Dan is concerned. Jen explains her mom is having minor surgery. She will be back tomorrow. Dan is curious what she needed help with. Jen decides it can wait.It was all about Eve, but who knows, with time, the problem might go away ... Rafe continues to humor haughty Eve at the nightclub. Crabby Eve wants the bartender to get her another. He refers to her as m'am and she snaps who is ma'm! Eve would rather not be referred to as someone's mother. She demands to speak with the manager. Rafe flashes a grin and says HI ... Back on the Italian coast, Brady finds out about Mandrake being in the other room. He urges the three women to wait for the police, who have been notified, and heads in the room to deal with the dastardly doctor. Alas Mandrake is nowhere to be seen.Brady takes a picture of Kristen out of a framed photograph, flashes back to the good and the bad in their ardent relationship, and places the picture in his pocket ... Marlena wonders about the baby as Kristen had told her a tall tale about a baby in the village. Theresa smiles this is her son. Mel adds Theresa and Brady's baby. Marlena is positively perplexed ... Dan drops by Nicole's office bearing pretty flowers. He gives her a goofy grin and hopes she has time for him. Nicole gushes and blushes ... JJ calls Jen, who assures him his grandma will be fine and she left food in the fridge. JJ explains he will be out all night,at a hotel room with Paige. Jen frowns. Does Paige's mother know...? ... Rafe introduces himself. Eve nervously laughs and apologizes for her rudeness. Rafe smiles random anger is not a good thing, tells the bartender the drinks are on the house for her,and goes to tell the guitarist to tune elsewhere. Eve is elated ... Stefano's telephone rings. He weeps are you sure???? Then he stares into space, still holding his daughter's picture ... Marlena is horrified to hear how Kristen stole Theresa and Brady's baby. But before the three girls can get into it, the Italian cops come marching in. The captain is cold and cross as he announces no one leaves and touch nothing. This case could be considered a suspicious death and they need answers. Theresa rocks the baby carriage. Marlena cringes ... Woman in red Nicole accepts the flowers. Dan is sorry about the foolish fights. They agree no more and he asks her out. She suggests they give Rafe their business ... Serena calls Zan, who takes her call outside at a table. He suggests she meet him at his hotel room, where he lies he is about to shower ... In Italia Theresa tries to explain the woman took her baby, Clint abducted her. The cop asks where Clint is now. Silence. Another cop demands to know where Marlena was standing when Ms DiMera fell. She stammers she does not remember. Mel sneakily picks up a fallen cell phone ... Dan and Nicole kiss and he gets a call from Mel, who is using Marlena's phone. She stammers they are alright and she is in Italy with the gang. More to follow but they are fine and did nothing wrong despite what the Italian cops might claim. Click! A cop grabs the phone. Dan curses, fearing she is in custody overseas. He mentions Mandrake and Nicole notes she warned her. Dan the worried dad demands she enlighten him. She gets miffed he sounds mad but she only knows Mandrake is a mysterious fertility doctor. Dan gets mad she did not tell him Mel was digging and voices are raised. Mel is his daughter! Nicole refuses to fight and tosses the flowers in the trash. Then she storms out. Dan sighs and shakes his head ... Zander agrees to meet at that bench off the square and reminds Serena she is not the one in charge ... Stefano orders DO NOTHING forrrr now! He will call. He takes his drink and remembers his beautiful beautiful daughter. Then he breaks down and cries like a baby ... Drums play ... In Italy, the cop captain thinks there is more. Brady appears and hands them the documents from Mandrake's files. This is medical proof of the doc and Clint taking Theresa's baby. Brady explains Clint locked them downstairs. A cop appears announcing a dead body downstairs. They explain it was self-defense but the Italian cops cannot let the matter slide. A dead body and the disappearance of a DiMera in Italy cannot be ignored. Someone has to pay! Brady gets a very bad feeling ... At the square Eve overhears Paige's pal on the phone with a friend, explaining JJ and Paige are at a hotel room. After the call, Eve wishes Paige had told her. Daphne urges her not to tell Paige she overheard. Eve promises to say nothing ... On his phone with Jen, JJ appreciates being able to tell her the truth. She thinks he deserves happiness. He thanks her for all she did for him and Paige and ends the call. Curious Paige wonders what he meant by that last comment ... At the new club Nicole hears Dan leaving Brady a desperate message, complaining Nicole told him nothing. She walks out ... The cops advise the castle gang to talk to an attorney before giving a statement. They are in no hurry. Theresa tells them she needs formula for her baby. Brady assures them they have nothing to hide. The captain claims there are especially questions for him and Dr. Evans. Therefore they should expect to stay in Italy a looooong time. Brady grimaces ... At the nightclub, manager Rafe greets Dan, who asks for help from his contacts from the FBI, never mind Nicole ... The Italian cops offer to look after the baby while Theresa gives her statement with the others at the station. Mel tells her it will be alright. Theresa ignores her and hands the baby to Brady with a smile. "Say hello to your son." Brady gazes at the bundle of joy in his arms and grins at Theresa, who giggles. Mel woefully watches ... Jen is on a plane, hoping Eve is not obsessed with JJ and his jacket ... Eve calls Cole with a sinister message. Tomorrow they talk cos the time has come to totally destroy JJ ... In the hotel room, JJ claims what he meant was his mom never let him give up. Paige is grateful as well and they hug. Romeo and Juliet kiss in bliss ... Serena waits at the town gate and calls Zander. He lies something came up, reads his paper, and says tomorrow. She rages to stop playing games. She refuses to let him ruin her life and reminds him she has as much dirt on him as he has on her. She threatens to take him down and hangs up. Nicole comes around the corner and mulls over what to do about what she just overheard ... THE END! Ahead on Days Victor expects BIG DiMera payback! Chad is devastated.
