At the park, Paul is perplexed to see someone he recognizes from Sonny's family photos. He finds out he came all the way for a word with him ... Back in Salem, Will insists he wanted to save his marriage and family ... Ciara and Hope greet Rafe at the town square. He teases Ciara about her summer plans and she boasts of her big plan to become an umpire. A certain attorney she paid a dollar assured her they could not refuse on account of her being female. Rafe and Hope are amused. After Ciara goes to join pal Belinda and mom, Rafe gets serious. He wants to talk Clyde. Hope is clearly hiding something but refuses to divulge. Rafe drawls he is here for her when she needs him. Hope appreciates it ... Down in the cellar, Clint is ready to shoot Brady and gets irate about a text ordering him not to kill. He turns on Mel,who has been mouthing off. Brady leaps into action and lunges for him ...Marlena storms into the villa, vocal about knowing Kristen has THEM. Kristen cannot believe she actually followed them! When Marlena mentions her "them" as Paul and John, Kristen exclaims they are not here! Marlena pauses. Then who are the THEM in her villa ...? Theresa is transfixed as she creeps to the baby's crib, where she heard him crying. She sees his sweet face and becomes emotional, trying to piece together the puzzle in her foggy mind. She starts to go ... until Mandrake grabs her to prevent her from escaping ... Clint roughs up Brady, who falls to the floor. Mel pleads to please not shoot him ... Paul wonders what kind of business Sonny's father could have with him all the way in San Francisco. He had heard Justin was doing work in Dubai ... Exasperated Sonny snaps he is not going to Paul! Will has convinced himself otherwise - that Sonny was on his way to Italy to be with Paul at long last, leaving him in the Salem dust. Sonny states Paul is in San Francisco. Will thinks he knows better, for Marlena found the address on Victor's desk, which was for ITALY! Sonny is aghast that Will has led Marlena on a wild goose chase due to his unending insecurity. Will now gets worked up about Sonny following Paul to San Francisco ... The clueless nurse comes running in the castle,confused about the baby and the doctor, who are nowhere to be found. Marlena takes it all in. What baby? Kristen plays it cool ... Mel sputters to stop and think before he shoots cos Clint could get a lot of money from Brady's family but if he killed him, Victor the big bad Kiriakis would track him down within a week. Clint scoffs and kicks the billionaire heir with hatred. Now he intends to kill him. Mel manages to loosen her ropes ... At the club, dedicated Detective Hope makes the mistake of discussing the drama surrounding Clyde with Abe and Roman - when Aiden is within earshot. She suggests keeping tabs on Clyde, who could be connected to the death of the mobster murdered in prison. The one connected to his son. Aiden appears and Hope stops. He makes pleasantries with Roman and especially Abe, wanting Theo and Chase to get together soon. Abe and Roman are soon gone and he sits at the table with Hope with a solemn stare ... Back in San Francisco, Justin lets Paul know how impressed he was with Paul's story. It is understandable why Sonny proposed ... He subtly suggests he not stay away from Salem ... Theresa feebly tries to get away from Mandrake, who explains he needs her and gets his needle ready ... Kristen pretends to have been prepared to pay for the medical help a child in the village needs. Marlena scoffs at the holes in her story. All of a sudden Mel jumps on Clint. Marlena hears the commotion and intends to check it out ... Kristen whips out a gun shouting NO! She leers this has been a long time coming. Marlena blinks ... Aiden lectures Hope for not respecting his client confidentiality. She counters he too has his doubts about Clyde. Attorney Aiden vows to uphold the law, even if it means testifying against Hope and how she heard the facts of the mobster's prison murder while eavesdropping on his call with a client. Hope apologizes and admits she gets passionate about upholding the law. He can relate, though he is more passionate about going by the rule of law. Then they flirt and discuss their next date ... Paul does not get what Justin wants of him. Justin sighs Sonny is being pressured in Salem ... Paul deduces it is coming from team Will ... Justin adds he wants his son to follow his heart and implies he has yet to make his choice. He seems to want Paul in the picture ... Sonny insists he wanted to go see his father. Everything is in a mess. His father cheated, which led to his mother cheating with Will's father. Will is shocked ... John returns with Paul's grandpa and is perplexed to see Justin. When Justin hears him referred to as Paul's father,he is flabbergasted ... The gun falls to the floor. Clint decides to choke the life out of Mel, who gasps ...Theresa gets dizzy and past memories come flooding back of the dastardly doctor she told she was pregnant one fateful night - Mandrake! He does not deny it and agrees she was right, she was pregnant ... Upstairs Kristen has lost her mind. She leers at Marlena for making her lose both John and Brady and orders her to remove herself from her rug, lest she stain it with her blood ... Justin concludes he and John both want the best for their boys ... Will exclaims OMG YOUR MOM! Sonny warns him not to dare cast any stones. Will wonders whether Justin feels as guilty as he did and apologizes for his desperation ... Brady to the rescue! He springs to his feet to save Mel and the struggle with Clint is on again ...Kristen screams at Marlena to move to the window. Marlena warns her John would not let her get away with her crime, which further infuriates Kristen. Marlena tries to grab the gun. No luck. They get closer to the window ... Paul suspects John is against his return to Salem. John just thinks one must respect that Will and Sonny are married. Paul updates him on what Will did, from blackmailing Tori to trying to prevent Paul's parentage from coming out.If not for Sonny, Will would have kept the secret! John is stunned ... Will holds Sonny's hand,woefully wondering what he can do. For starters he can stop suffocating him and being so suspicious ... Theresa has a sudden surge of strength and stabs Mandrake with his own needle. Then she staggers to see her baby in the crib ... Brady has the gun now and shoots creepy Clint stone cold dead ... Near the window, Marlena warns Kristen she cannot get away with cold blooded murder. Kristen screams to shut up. Downstairs Brady and Mel hear and race upstairs ... Marlena refuses to give up and tries to take the gun from her arch enemy. They struggle and a shot is fired into the air, their arms up,their hands hanging on. Kristen is hysterical ... Justin notes Will knows he really messed up. John declares whatever his son decides, he would love to see him in Salem. Justin and John step aside to allow Paul a private discussion with his Japanese grandfather ... Will promises to stop trying to control things. Sonny gets a text from Adrienne and invites him to come with him to pick up Ari. Will wants to check with his father first and find out how and where Marlena might be. Sonny is relieved they cleared the air and they embrace. Once hubby is gone, Will gets an email from Zoe, who dangles she has more dirt on Paul. Will replies to send him every detail - he wants it all! When Mel meets up with Theresa, she tells her yes he is her son. Theresa gives her baby a tender look and starts to cry ... The gun falls to the floor. Brady bursts in, thundering KRISTEN! Kristen stops and stares at the one she lost. Marlena bellows to let her go and throws her arms off. Kristen loses her footing and is thrown back. She crashes through the window with a blood curdling scream. Marlena dares to look down as the breeze blows her blonde mane ... THE END!
