At Kristen's castle of doom, a shot has been fired! Down in the cellar, captives Mel and Brady hope for the best. Upstairs Clint gets the gun away from terrified Theresa ... Sonny has been left a large envelope from Victor at his club. Tis Paul's present address. Sonny splits ... Meanwhile Marlena is already on a plane en route to ... She has her computer out and sends a message to Will. He later texts her back, grateful she is in his corner ... In San Francisco, Paul is petulant when he and grandfather run into John at the park. Grandfather eyes John and declares in his native tongue - Japanese - he is a stubborn man. Like father like son. He steps away to afford the pair privacy. John thanks him in Japanese. Paul is defensive ... At the pub, Will points out to Clyde he has had to deal with the likes of DiMeras and Poplar Bluff threats pale in comparison. He intends to do his digging despite his lack of cooperation. Clyde counters by calling Sonix a rag and rubbing in Will's wanderlust exposed in print as well. He leers about Will "doin whatever you boys do." Will is not in the least bit intimidated and meets his stare. He intends to do whatever he must, now sensing a bigger story. Clyde ominously says the same. He is gonna do whatever he has to ... At the nightclub, where she waits for Clyde, Kate brings up Chad to Ben, but he grins he has got no worries about that one. He and Abigail are solid as a rock ... At DiMera mansion, kissed Abigail gasps at Chad about what he was thinking. He drawls he was thinking she wanted him to kiss her like this and continues. After a few seconds. Abi pulls away and claims she did not want this. Chad claims he is not going to play this game anymore ...Theresa gasps why. Kristen cackles she will explain. She taunts to accept that no man wants her and this is her payback. Theresa assumes she is referring to Brady. Kristen denies it ... Abi stammers she is with Ben now. Chad snaps Ben is her past ... Mel starts to scream in the cellar. Brady patiently points out that would only get the captors back down here so it is best not to call attention. They now work together attempting to loosen the ropes that bind them. Mel's get loosened a little ... Exasperated Chad exclaims Abi wanted to be alone with him, which is why she came to his house and he is DONE hiding how he feels ... Sonny arrives home to an empty apartment. Adrienne has left a note about taking Arianna outside. Sonny starts thinking ... Then he picks up the phone and places a call in regards to any available flights tonight ... John does not take Paul's hint of leaving him alone and grins family is everything to him. He is not going to give up, now that they have this chance to know one another ... Mel sighs she is sorry for where her snooping led them but Brady gushes how grateful he will always be that she found his baby. They exchange I love yous and get back to the task at hand - trying to untangle themselves ... Clint points his gun at horrified Theresa. Kristen hisses this is justice for all her transgressions. She only gets points for almost killing John, though she unfortunately did not succeed. Theresa cries out as Kristen suddenly jabs a needle into her neck. She collapses like a rag doll, still not realizing the real reason the she-devil needs her ... Clint informs his boss lady that the safe house awaits, but they need to lose the dead weight. Kristen has one final matter to settle first ... John and Paul sit at a garden table together and talk. Paul admits he has gotten hate mail about what happened in Salem, but he is used to angry letters in his baseball days, from betting fans who bet wrong. John notes this time it is personal, however ...Chad rages what Abigail has with Ben is not real, they are playing house and she did not even know his real name ... Kristen whispers to baby Christopher this has to be done ... Mandrake and Clint appear, much to Brady and Mel's surprise. Clint carries limp Theresa into the cellar. Mel wants to know what they plan to do to the prisoners ... Paul is comfortable in his own skin and says so. John the baseball buff wonders whether he has heard from his teammates since ...Some and they were supportive. Paul now gets emotional about one kid finding the courage to come out thanks to him. It made him feel good. John grins that is amazing. Paul gets withdrawn again with his new father ... Abigail gets emotional and upset with Chad for saying such things. But Chad is on a roll. He blurts out he wanted to use Jordan to hurt her the way she hurt him but lost his nerve. Matter of fact he LOVES Abigail and never stopped! The girl gasps why say this now? Chad tells her he is tired of hiding the fact that he wants her and would do anything to be with her again. Abigail pales. Then he was the one who sent the feds after Ben! Chad denies it and declares he wanted to help Ben cos she cared for him. That was then, this is now. Now he is a big bad DiMera determined to get what he wants. He adds he wants nothing more than to make love to her all day and shows her the door. Abigail's suddenly schoolgirl sensibilities are shocked and she races back to Ben's place ... Creepy Clint escorts Brady upstairs, his gun in plain view. Mandrake ties Theresa to Mel's chair and warns her to keep her mouth shut. Theresa starts to stir ... Brady is in the baby's room tied to a chair. If Kristen has her way, this is going to be his final goodbye to anyone ... Clyde catches up with date Kate at the nightclub. She notes his serious demeanor. He complains about Will's hatchet job. Kate agrees to talk him out of it and they kiss passionately ... Will was pleased to receive Marlena's message but is not so pleased to overhear Sonny leaving a message when he enters the apartment about coming to see "him" to work things out, ending with I love you. Will bitterly assumes the worst. He does not give Sonny a chance to explain and blasts him for choosing Paul with Victor's blessing... John Black is a man of facts, which he why he informs his son it is a fact that he is grateful to know he has a son and a fact that it is not too late for them to connect. He calls him SON and states he will make this right ... Kristen grandiosely allows Brady one last look at HIS son, as she calls him. Alas some things were not meant to be. She will run away to raise their son and he will have eternity with Melanie. She gives him a last kiss. Brady begs her not to do it ... Paul notes he never had a father so far in his life ... John cuts him off and claims he will do whatever it takes ... Sonny wishes Will would listen ... Abigail is in a hurry to make love to shirtless Ben at his apartment. She opens her eyes and sees not Ben's face making love to her but CHAD. She blinks and Ben is back .... Chad drowns his sorrows at the dim mansion, thinking of the only girl he wants ... Brady appeals to the small part of Kristen that is good but his plea falls on deaf ears ... Mandrake appears to Mel and injects Theresa in the neck again. He carries her out, ignoring Mel's protests ...Kristen summons Clint and bids Brady goodbye. Clint escorts the prisoner, hands still tied behind his back, down to the cellar of death ... Kristen makes a call. They move NOW ... Clint pushes Brady to the floor and aims his gun, execution style. Mel cries NO. Brady winks ever so slightly ... Upstairs in the foyer Mandrake informs Kristen that Theresa is out cold in the baby's room but time is running out ...In the baby room baby Christopher cries, He wakes up Theresa, who sits up and stares at the crib,in a trance ... Will laments he wasted his time getting Marlena to go to San Francisco to speak with Paul. Sonny cannot believe what he is hearing ... Grandfather returns and requests a moment alone with John to admire the view of the Golden Gate Bridge But Paul should stay behind ... Kristen orders Mandrake to bring the baby and egg donor ( meaning mama Theresa )cos the car is ready ... Paul turns around with a start. What are YOU doing here ... Back in Italy. Kristen opens the front door of her villa, only to come face to face with Marlena. Kristen stumbles slightly. Marlena's eyes narrow. This means WAR! THE END! |
