At the castle Kristen calls her villa, Brady demands a DNA test on the baby he knows to be his son. She quips it is not his call. He snaps she lies and repeats his demand. Kristen pulls her gun on Brady whilst the evil Mandrake pulls his gun on mystified Mel ...Kate is smug as a bug as she flounces around the town square, discussing her new job press release over the phone, happily holding a gift bag. Abigail overhears and assumes she is consulting. Kate airily replies Lucas made a mistake and so she replaced him at Mad World. Abi does not find that something to smile about,unlike Kate ... At the Wilson apartment, Adrienne is highly agitated about what Kate did to her own flesh and blood. Lucas notes it is nothing new. She loves him in her own twisted way but loves herself most of all ... Chad confers on a call with papa Stefano. The phoenix finds it a tad coincidental that Walenski the mobster was murdered before Ben was subpoenaed. But he says no such thing to his son... Clyde has summoned Ben to the park to get to the bottom of any other secrets or sordid associations he has from his younger years. He points out he needs to know in order to protect him. Ben believes him and admits there is one more thing that has long bothered him. Clyde is all ears ... Will sits at the pub, obsessing over anything Paul on his computer. He is on a quest to dig up more dirt to destroy the sports star from Sonny's past. Editor Zoe calls, pressuring him to write the expose on Clyde.Will agrees and starts searching on the Ozarks websites. He feels like falling asleep just thinking about it ... Theresa wakes up on an empty plane, seated next to Clint and his crazy grin. She gets flustered she cannot find her passport and he produces it. She thanks him for being such a lifesaver. If only she knew where in Italy they were headed ...! Brady talks back to Kristen so Mandrake makes a move and whacks him in the back of the head. Pistol-whipped Brady falls to the floor unconscious. Mel races to his side to revive him but Kristen makes Mandrake take her away ... Lucas laments he should have seen the signs for Kate had been sniffing around her old job ever since she was sacked at DiMera. She denied it to his face, however, and then went behind his back so Victor would fire him. Adrienne finds it unfair and awful. Lucas solemnly states he is done with the woman forever ... Abi admits to Kate she was somewhat surprised that Stefano dismissed her at DiMera as she and Chad had been a good team for the profitability of the company. Kate sighs Stefano loathed her having a powerful position. Abi notes nothing bothered Chad about being reduced in importance. Kate realizes they are communicating again and informs Abigail that Chad is a different brand of DiMera. The last hope ... Abi gets a faraway look in her eye as she flashes back to Chad insisting he was nothing like EJ ... Chad sighs so much for the plan. Stefano points out it did put some doubt about Ben into her head. Chad adds doubts about him as well. He updates his father on EJ informing her he had taken out a hit on Nick. Stefano is exasperated he made such a foolhardy slip ... Ben has evidently shared his worst secret of all with Clyde. Now that he has unburdened his soul to him, he will say the same to Abigail. Clyde talks him out of it, since he is now a changed man ... Mandrake the fiendish fertility doctor ties Mel to a chair in the baby's secret room. He has a brief call about the next and final move. Nurse Mel calls him crazy. She knows what he did and that he also sent Clint to get Theresa! Mandrake muses the RN knows too much ... Kristen has Brady in the cellar. He slowly comes to .. She tells him there is going to be big trouble for Theresa and Mel, referring to Theresa with disdain. Brady begs her to leave Theresa alone. No can do. She needs her bone marrow for the baby ... Brady gets a bad feeling and attempts to reason with her not to spill anyone's blood on this day ... Lucas goes in his granddaughter's room when she cries. Adrienne is alone in the living room when a visitor arrives. Tis Kate! She waltzes in after reading the press release of her glorious return and dismisses Adrienne, there to see Will and Sonny. Adrienne accuses her of being a two-faced beech. Kate doesn't bat a false eyelash ... Chad is dismal about his DiMera name ruining any relationship he could have with Abi but papa Stefano tells him to give the girl time. After the call, Stefano glances down at the large envelope bearing her name. He mutters they need her .... Kristen is cross about the two girls Brady already replaced her with. Brady morphs into romantic hero mode and murmurs no one could ever replace her in his heart. He kisses her and lies he wants to run away with her and his son so let the girls go. Kristen kisses him, then gets even madder at him for trying to betray her love. He is dead to her now and she leaves him with the cellar under guard .... Chad is sitting solemnly at his computer when someone walks in the room. He assumes it is Henderson the British butler but he is assuming wrong.There stands Abigail the girl of his dreams, there to apologize. The son of Stefano blinks his piercing blue eyes ...The nightclub is not open but Will walks in anyway and asks busy Ben for a favor. He seeks his father's phone number so he can plan a surprise for Kate.He probes Ben a bit about the Ozarks, gets the number, and goes. Ben calls Clyde to let him know he passed on his number and why ... Kate cackles about Adrienne's lack of class. Besides she is here bearing baby gifts. Adrienne exclaims after what she did?! Kate counters at least SHE does not ho around ... Adrienne explodes and gives her a soap slap. Kate calls her a beech and slugs her in the cheek. Then with a war cry they go at each others's throats, falling back on the sofa.Lucas breaks it up and blasts Kate, kicking her out. To add insult to injury, he refuses to accept her gift for his granddaughter ... Clint shows Theresa into the villa with a vicious grin. He expects to be well rewarded for bringing her here. If only he knew ... Theresa is impressed by the Italian residence and admires the vineyards from the window. Creepy Clint pours them each a drink and drugs hers heavily. Just as she finishes said drink,she spies a pacifier on the floor and picks it up, puzzled. To whom does it belong? Kristen slinks in and gives her a sly wave, purring that pacifier belongs to her baby boy Christopher. Theresa screams at Clint to call the police. Kristen quips this is her home. Clint laughs and Theresa gives him a terrified look. They are standing close when he casually produces his gun ... Chad has been doing some soul searching and has decided that he too was wrong. He was wrong to behave so rudely. Abi reasons she was wrong to announce what EJ had done, hiring a hitman when he was supposed to have changed. Chad replies she was right, though, she spoke the truth. The girl admits it was a trying time and she still feels EJ really was trying to walk the right path. Chad has heard quite enough of the EJ talk. She assures him he is nothing like his brother ... Mandrake murderously tells Mel she is going to die tonight ... Chad thanks Abi for her sweetness and suggests she go on her way, as he realizes and accepts she is with Ben. Abi appears hurt at the idea that he does not want her around all of a sudden. Chad grabs her in a tender kiss ... Clyde and Will confer at the pub, where cocky Will explains he is doing an article about him for Sonix. Clyde is rattled and enraged at the same time, as reflected in his eyes ...Mandrake leaves Brady and Mel tied to a chair and leers time is running out. When he takes off, Mel tries to be positive but pouts upon hearing how Kristen now hates Brady like the rest of them ... Clyde thinks he is no person of interest. Will declares his donation to the hospital made him one. Clyde repeats he is not interested. Wily Will was not asking for his permission ... Ben mixes Kate a cocktail at the nightclub. She notes things are nice between him and his father and he should treasure that. There is nothing like family ... Lucas gets emotional with Adrienne, who is already emotional. He will not give up as long as she wants him ... Theresa screams for heeeeeeeeelp. Down in the cellar, tied-up Brady gasps they have got Theresa ...Upstairs, Theresa is groggy but still a survivor. She gets the gun away from Clint, whose guard was down .... BANG! A shot echoes throughout the castle ... Downstairs Brady raises his eyes with worry for the mother of his child .... THE END! Ahead on Days: Kristen has another visitor! Brady works to escape with Mel. Abigail is torn. Clyde goes creepy on Will! |
