There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the lavish house of Kiriakis, Maggie has gotten ready for her meeting with Summer the volunteer candidate. Victor finds it all rather funny but the smile fades from his face when Phillip walks in. The Greek grumbles who let him in! He convinced Henderson. Maggie discreetly departs. Phillip faces his father and explains he has to say something before he gets a call. The phone rings and Victor takes the call despite Phil's desire to explain himself first. The patriarch explodes after the call, accusing his son of stealing the formula to the serum for dastardly Deimos his arch enemy. Phil explains he merely borrowed it and was doing exactly as he had instructed. Victor looks at him like he thinks he is even more daft ... Shawn is not impressed to find cocktail dress Belle busily opening her new nightclub. The red chairs gives the place a glow. Belle is glowing more than ever, proud of the new place. Shawn gets sanctimonious about the lawyer and her bar. She boasts it was for Claire so she can sing here. Shawn the forensics detective finds that even more dreadful. He does not want his daughter singing at a seedy nightclub bought with dirty DiMera money. He accuses her of messing up her relationship with Claire and trying to buy back her affection ... Unseen unheard Kayla has called Joey urging him not to set foot out of the house. When Claire comes by and alludes to what Chase did to the now suffering Ciara, he is furious. Claire promised her pal no cops but gets an idea. Of course Joe is IN ... Chase is still hiding in the basement where Andre left him. He wakes up from a nightmare about the cops closing in and takes off ... At the square, Abe assumes son Theo is distracted due to the disappearance of nono Stefano. Theo excuses himself when he spies Ciara walking by. Ciara ends up further away from the crowds. Some partying teens offer her a drink. She takes one and the cute guy who had his eye on her suggests they party together. He drapes his arm around her and she flashes back to the last time a guy got close to her. She gasps to let go ... Brady is sitting on the sofa. Theresa comes up behind him with tantalizing kisses. They are interrupted when Summer walks in, wondering whether he is ready to go meet Maggie. Theresa fumes. Brady explains the DNA test did show Maggie was her mom. Summer would rather she not say anything to anyone. She would need time to know Maggie first ... Victor cannot conceal his rage at Phillip giving Deimos the formula Bo lost his life protecting. Phillip reasons he advised him to play Deimos and pretend to be loyal. Victor snaps his idea was a stupid one. Phillip feels his anger is misdirected but Victor cannot calm down ... Theo thunders at the teen to get away from the girl. He does and gets rude. Ciara calls him a jerk. Then she turns away in tears. Theo tries to console her ... Belle insists Sami gave her that money. Shawn insists it belongs to the DiMeras, meaning Chad. But Belle begs to differ cos Sami deserved that money and gave her her lion's share. She has done nothing wrong and gets sarcastic about him wanting Claire to serve clam chowder, whereas she wants her daughter to live her dream. Thank God they are divorcing. Shawn fumes over the professor she cheated with at a time he was not attentive enough ... Victor blasts Phillip and decides they are done again. Phillip hides his hurt by retorting he does not need his forgiveness anyway ... Summer and Brady await Maggie at the hospital. Summer gets even more stressed when she sees a swanky home on the cover of a magazine and Brady muses that is Maggie's home. Maggie flounces in all happy for having heard one of the helper's baby news and greets Summer. She now sits and asks her about her hospital experience. Summer stammers she was a patient only and would rather not reveal anything about herself other than the fact she came from California. To compound her anxiety, Maggie recognizes her from the time they bumped at the square, where she suspects she lost a charm that had personal meaning. Summer flashes back to pocketing it. Maggie wants to hear all about her knowing Dan in California. Summer suddenly changes her mind and takes off. Apologetic Brady goes after her ... Theo gently urges Ciara to confide in him or at least confirm what he suspects. That Chase did something horrible to her. She nods he did and runs off ... Shawn blasts Belle for changing, for being just like Phillip ... Theo joins Joey and Claire at Joe's house. He knows what Chase did and wants to help get justice for their friend ... Chase skulks around the town square and sees a newspaper. The headline screams Andre is still in prison for murder. He catches sight of Ciara racing by and follows ... Phillip sulks and walks through the square. He gets a call from Belle and they sense each other's sadness. They agree to meet at the private park off the square near the Horton plaque. Phil does not realize he is being followed ... At the station Abe asks daydreaming Shawn for the DiMera file. He deduces he is distracted about the case. Shawn sighs he has figured things out. He does not mention he really has Belle on his mind ... Phillip and Belle meet at the mini park. She smiles he asked her to eventually respond to the way he feels soooo She gives him a passionate kiss. But they are being watched ... Ciara is at Horton house. Hope is nowhere to be seen. She gets a call from Chase's aunt in Chicago, horrified to hear he is not with her. Then where is he? She does not realize Chase is outside! Claire appears and motions for Theo and Joey to overpower him. Chase is grabbed within seconds ... Brady is back home with Summer, who is stressing out. He tells her to try to get to know her mother and laments Dan lost his life and gave him his heart, which now connects them. Dan would want this. Summer puts her hand on that heart. Theresa walks in ... Maggie returns home and admits to Victor how odd it was that Summer the wannabe hospital volunteer Brady brought back from California acted so strangely. Victor quips Brady should ditch Theresa for her and takes another drink. The redhead realizes he has a double and deduces it did not go well with Phillip. The Greek grumbles he would rather not hear that name. He feels Phillip is loyal only to Phillip ... Summer says she is sorry and excuses herself. Theresa pouts. When Brady brings her up to date on the not so successful meeting with Maggie, she snaps it is not his job to save Summer ... Maggie the peacemaker points out Victor and Deimos placed Philip in a losing situation. Victor fumes he should go to jail or pay for his betrayal ... At the mini park Phillip hears a noise and turns around. A thug comes running and slugs him to the ground ... Theo escorts suspicious Ciara to the spot where she was recently held hostage. Joey and Claire are waiting with Chase, who is now tied up as HER prisoner. Claire urges her to do as she wishes with the SCUM. Chase raises his frightened eyes. The tables have been turned ...
