Ben and Abigail embrace when he gushes the good news. The charges against him were dropped! Chad emerges. Abi smiles. Chad congratulates Ben and extends a hand. Ben gives him a cold hard stare. Chad adds he heard Jordan is leaving town and apologizes for any angst ... Dapper Rafe is already doing duty as manager of the glossy new nightclub of Salem when Jordan arrives to announce she is leaving Salem. Rafe reads her offer and gets glum. He wants one last dance. She obliges and it ends in a kiss. Then she walks out of his life with a smile ... The DiMera butler does not manage to stop Clyde from charging in to confer with Madame Kate in spite of her instructions to keep him out. Clyde wonders why she has not been returning his calls ... Marlena is graceful and elegant in blue when she meets John at the park, hoping she is appropriately dressed for their date. He is looking forward to this special night, drawls anywhere with her is special, and kisses his ladylove like he means it. Marlena is mesmerized ... Lucas insists to Justin that he backed off from Adrienne, he did the right thing. Justin thinks that sounds audacious - he backed off from HIS wife ... Adrienne has overheard Paul referring to Will cheating with him when she arrives at the door. She gasps you and you and looks from Will to Paul, back to Will again. She starts to accuse and then takes off, aghast by what Will did to her unsuspecting son. Will accuses Paul of making a mess by staying in Salem and takes off after her. Paul pointing out Will has yet to own what he did seems to fall on deaf ears ... Lucas explains he is staying away from Adrienne. Justin snaps calling her counts as not staying away. Lucas laments he was worried about Will and Sonny and so should Justin be ... Brush-off Ben excuses himself from Chad. Abi haughtily heads for the lounge. Chad goes after her ... Clyde states Kate was the one in the wrong,almost sending his son to the slammer. She denies it was her intention to cause trouble. Clyde insists he is no fool and refuses to apologize. But he does present her with a fortune cookie ... Lucas laments Sonny fled Salem and Will is not talking. Justin just thinks they should let it be. He makes a snide remark about Lucas' own marriage past, then apologizes for the low blow ... Paul meets his mom at the square. She is tense. He wants her to take it easy and have a nice time with him tonight. He drags her to the hot new nightclub in town ... Will pursues Adrienne all the way to the park to argue his case. She is disgusted by what he has done. How could he?! ... Chad joins Abi in the lounge and she gets jumpy when he offers to help her on the project if she feels overwhelmed. He assures her he is changing. She reminds him he tried to blackmail her into sleeping with him to keep her boyfriend out of the slammer. Chad acts like he did not really mean it. Her eyes widen. And what if she had agreed to his terms? Chad smoothly states he would never make her do anything she did not .... want to do ... She advises him to stop making moves on other guys' girlfriends and gets away fast, flustered ... Kate cackles at Clyde's fortune - The bumpy road is worth the ride ... She quips it is a two-way street and he gives his lady a kiss ... At the nightclub, John suavely orders champagne for himself and Marlena and drinks to her beauty. She blushes and gushes ... Paul and his mother now enter the club and sit at a table on the other end of the room. Rafe meets, greets, and compliments Paul on his courageous coming-out article. He explains who he is in relation to Arianna. Paul is polite ...Tori is tense ...Lucas realizes Justin intends to go back to Dubai and blasts him for not asking Adrienne along. Justin just says she hates Dubai ... Will makes light of messing up. Adrienne advises him to admit it was BETRAYAL. Will is in a snit about all the lectures. Adrienne soon discovers he was actually with Paul when stabbed Sonny was near death so she smacks him across his horrified face. She now apologizes. He sighs he deserved the slap ... Kate and Clyde are ambling through the square arm-in-arm when he is texted Ben's good news. He wants to call and steps away, suggesting she get them a table to celebrate ... Kate has that table when Jordan appears and announces she is leaving Salem. Kate gets catty upon hearing of her New York offer ... Rafe goes to get the drinks for Paul and his mom, on the house. Mrs. Norita is more nervous than a nut in a squirrel's nest. Paul wonders ... Adrienne weeps while recounting how happy Sonny said he was to have found Will and he wanted to rush things. Will reasons he was rushing into marriage and suggests he really just wanted to get married cos he spoke the same words he had spoken to Paul when he proposed. Adrienne gets angry again and accuses the son of Sami of playing the same kind of blame game as his mother. She storms off ... Jordan snaps Clyde and Kate deserve each other but suspects Kate will not survive the bad karma of Clyde. Kate sarcastically wishes her well. Clyde comes back. Kate decides to give the pair their privacy and heads for the mansion. Clyde is confused. Jordan explains he will be pleased to know she is leaving Salem forever BUT if he ever messes with Ben, she will come back and expose what he had done! That is her final threat ... Paul wonders what is the matter with his mother. When he spies Marlena with John, and Marlena makes eye contact, she can bear it no more and bolts before John turns around, pretending to have a phone call. She steps into the hall to hide. Marlena and John approach Paul and are sorry they just missed his mom ... Woeful Will is back at the apartment and admits to Lucas he has not heard from Sonny since he left or arrived in Arizona, assuming he did. Lucas is baffled. Will blurts out he cheated - with Paul, who, as it turns out, was Sonny's special someone once upon a pre-Wilson time. All Lucas can say is HOLY HOLY HOLY ... Paul's mother sneaks around the corner when John and Marlena walk out of the club. Then she doubles back to her dubious son and denies she was avoiding them. There was a call from grandfather. He suspects she is ashamed to be seen with her gay son in public. She insists that is not true ... Chad is back at DiMera mansion, where Kate enjoys her wine while taunting him for losing another girl. He would rather not go there. Kate asks if he read the European report she recommended. Indeed and he made notes. Kate condescendingly compliments his ideas. The unlikely team toast to autonomy at DiMera Enterprises. Chad smiles slyly ... Adrienne drowns her sorrows at the house like a desperate Kiriakis housewife. Justin would like a word with his wife ... At the park with John, Marlena marvels what a night. He grins it was great to see all-star Paul again and she wonders what made his mysterious mother leave in such a hurry. So does he ... Paul probes whether his mother dislikes Dr. Evans. She denies it and when manager Rafe attends to their table, tells him how proud she is of her son, her eyes filled with tormented tears ... Justin explains he spoke with Lucas, who admitted ... Adrienne defiantly declares they kissed but stopped cos it was wrong. She dares Justin to look her squarely in the eye and deny he cheated with the Elsa woman. Justin peers at her and she gasps no and goes running ... Lucas tries to make Will feel better. Will makes it clear he is ready for the fight of a lifetime as he eyes a photo of his happy little family. He dramatically declares he is not going to lose Sonny.
