JJ mulls over the mess his life became as he wallows at Horton house. Rory drops by, feeling down for flunking a lab. He notices JJ's long face and lets him know he saw him with his latest conquest on campus. JJ grumbles Roxy is gone now. Rory wants help hitting on babes. JJ is not interested. Rory believes he has been a bore ever since he broke up with Paige and tells him so ... Abigail leaves JJ a heartfelt message about being here for him from the office. Enter the Chad. He explains he is here to see the hospital administrator and updates her on the tough time he spent with the D.A., who pushed hard for a trial. Turns out Chad pushed right back, threatening to be an uncooperative witness for the prosecution against Ben. Abi is grateful he tried but Chad is making no promises ... Ben visits working girl Jordan to update her on his time with the legal eagles. He feels positive about the outcome. He sees a letter she is reading and congratulates her on the incredible offer from a major humanitarian organization in New York City... Lucas is babysitting Ari all alone. He places a call to Adrienne, asking for answers. Will is not talking so can she tell him the real reason Sonny left Salem??? Meanwhile Will storms over to Paul's hotel room to hound him for not leaving town. Shirtless Paul patiently explains he is meeting his mom for lunch. Will is frantic and furious. Paul proceeds to put his shirt on ... Jen taunts look there is Paige, she and Eve should tell her their news together. Pretty Paige is perplexed. Eve asks for a moment alone with smiling Jen. Paige steps away to check her messages ... Eve tries to refuse to agree to Jen's idea but quickly realizes Jen intends to make good on her threat to tell Paige she slept with her sweetheart - unless she allows the romantic couple to decide their own destiny ... Jordan dramatically declares she cannot go, their new lives are in Salem. Ben urges her to take it and grins he will get along fine on his own. He is starting college and he has Clyde's number, knows he is not to be trusted. Still she hesitates. Ben snaps it must be cos of Chad DiMera ... Abigail is grateful for Chad's efforts. Chad is grateful for the words she spoke to him the other night - that she still cared. Those words mean a great deal to him ... Justin is standing in the doorway of the grand Kiriakis living room, watching and listening to Adrienne on her call with Lucas. She suggests they all talk but Lucas laments Will is out. And he needs answers ...about why Sonny was in such a hurry to leave Salem. He did not even bother to say goodbye to his daughter, which Lucas considers out of character ... Paul stands before Will fully dressed. Will is highly agitated that those close to him now know Sonny was Paul's proposal and yet here he is in Salem, still causing trouble. He is NOT going to lose Sonny ... Paul gets sarcastic about Will suddenly losing his confidence about his hubby. Will accuses him of seducing him. Paul thinks he was willing from the start and even knew he was gay. Will snaps he flirted with him. Paul snaps he flirted right back and adds he even took off his wedding ring to get his story.He gets close and asks how long he knew he was gay. Will gets flustered and pretends he forgot. But Paul suspects he remembers every single detail ... Jordan agrees to go to New York. Ben hugs her and Abigail finds the happy siblings together. He shows her the letter. Abi is elated for her. Jordan spies Chad and stops smiling ... Adrienne sighs her son is so stressed and needs time to heal, that is why he left Salem. Lucas hopes she is right. She sighs she wishes she could be there with him and Ari. She gets off the phone and sees Justin standing there ... Paul points out Will is not being honest for he was into it as much as him! At least HE was not cheating. Will screams he wishes he had never met him ... Jen heads home to Horton house and lets JJ know she did something for him, something that she almost cannot believe she did. It will change his life. JJ is listening ... Paige returns with a cup of coffee for her morose mother and wonders what she and Jen were up to. She was getting a very strange vibe ... Jordan follows Chad into the lounge to thank him for trying to have the charges against her brother dropped. Chad tried but the D.A. seemed rather stubborn. Jordan lets him know she is leaving Salem. He wishes her well and is sorry for what transpired. He did care. She replies she cared too and urges him to have more respect for himself. He owes it to himself ... Justin solemnly states he and his wife need to talk. Adrienne blurts out he has been too busy talking to Elsa to notice her! Justin had thought he explained already they are business partners ... His phone rings and she rages to answer it, taking off ... Will suggests Paul staying in Salem is the real reason Sonny left town. Paul snaps Sonny never said that ...Will accuses him of being a home wrecker. Paul accuses him of paranoia. He is only staying in Salem as he has a few remaining physical therapy sessions. Will demands to know the day he intends to leave then. Paul suspiciously demands to know what Sonny might have said to get him so rattled ... As Jen assures JJ that Eve will never spill their secret to Paige, Eve explains to her daughter this is big ... about her and JJ ... Lucas is surprised when Justin comes to the apartment, asking after Adrienne ... Eve hoarsely has to tell her daughter something so she explains Jen hates her and blames her for breaking up JJ and Paige by deceiving Paige into going to California. She lets it slip Jen is also angered about the person JJ ended up getting together with. Paige naturally assumes she means Roxanne. Eve sighs she cannot stand being near Jen but has decided to stay in Salem regardless. She cries she hopes her daughter can find it in her heart to forgive her one day and stops with that ... Jen suggests JJ try to find his way back to Paige if they are still in love. Eve will no longer pose a problem but still ... Will hisses at Paul he will not get Sonny away from him! Paul snaps he once thought he and Will were friends. Will laments he said he wanted his ex back when he interviewed him and that was Sonny, his hubby. Paul apologizes ...but he does not deny still wanting him back ... Ben is with Abigail when he gets an important call from attorney Aiden. The charges against him have been dropped! They hug and she smiles at Chad, who emerges ...Will feels the panic and orders Paul to leave town. As long as he is here, he and Sonny will not be able to solve their problems! Paul counters Will is not facing the facts and the fact is that HE cheated on Sonny, which he would never have done! He opens the door to kick him out. There stands Adrienne, looking aghast about Will's affair ... Justin coldly states he heard his wife on the phone with Lucas talking about coming over. Lucas is not impressed with Justin's disconnect with sweet Adrienne. Justin is not impressed with Lucas inserting himself into the equation ... Paige realizes the lateness of the hour and excuses herself to study for her next exam. However, she assures her mom she could never hate her. Besides, JJ is seeing another and seems to be in her past ... JJ agrees he and Jen will never tell Paige and his eyes shine with hope. He intends to try again with his dream girl, now that Eve is not an issue. Jen hopes for the best though she still cannot shake the feeling that this dirty secret is not really done ... THE END! |
