Nicole is relieved to bump into Brady at the square and asks how he fares. Pale tired Theresa wants to know the same thing ... Nurse Mel has just finished her shift but requests some advice from nurse Maxine. She stammers she senses a secret about someone who is not her biggest fan so should she keep digging? Maxine senses that someone is Theresa and tells her to stay away. Mel babbles about Clint and a possible crime. The whole situation is somehow connected to Brady. Maxine advises her to tell Brady. Mel realizes she is quite right ... At the apartment Will laments it looks like neither he nor Sonny feels much like celebrating their upcoming first anniversary. T is sympathetic. Will notes if no one interferes, they may make it through ... Meanwhile Paul is still at the park with Sonny. The popular pitcher points out what Will blurted out to him. That he felt Sonny might not want him with a catch like Paul available. Sonny is exasperated Will said such a thing. Paul feels his celebrity status is to blame and admits he used it to score with Will ... Eve gets curious Cole back to her apartment, where she suggests an alliance, as he is the lesser of two evils. She wants to help him win Paige back. Cole tells her why he cares so much for her daughter, who does not look down on him the way others do. Eve is not all that interested and decides they are done. She will be in touch when she has formulated a plan. Cole seems to have his doubts and departs. Eve sits down and tries to focus on a way to make Paige and JJ's happy reunion come crashing down ... At the park, JJ gets tense and wants Paige to tell him what she told Dan. That they were back on track. She also mentioned Eve, though not in relation to them ... At his apartment, Dan thunders to Jen he knows the whole truth about JJ and Eve, she is too late! Jen's eyes mirror her worry. She cringes but covers up ... Paige does not say much about the misunderstanding involving her mother and Dan and sweetly suggests she and her Romeo head to his house. And so they do ...Jen urges Daniel to stay out of a matter that does not concern him. The medicine man questions her decision to help her son cover up his sordid secret ...Brady the billionaire is fine. Nicole gets catty with Theresa but tis Theresa Brady would like to speak with. Nicole gets the message and goes off ...Brady perceives Theresa is pale. She boasts she partied with her boyfriend Clint last night. He tells her to take care with that one. Theresa gets glib and notes it is nice to see Brady is better. She trash talks Mel for coming over to accuse her of God only knows what all of three times! The last time was this morning. Brady had no idea. He grimaces and excuses himself when she tells him about the text he never got. Theresa smiles smugly ... T offers to speak to Sonny to help. Will sighs he will have to be the one to fix this for he was the one at fault. T deduces then Will was the one who cheated. Will is surprised when T states how sad Sonny was. He admits he hates himself for breaking Sonny's noble heart ... Sonny suspects Paul just wants him to give Will a free pass ... At Horton house, JJ finally finds out from Paige about that night her vulnerable mom ended up in bed with someone who had a jacket just like Daniel's. JJ hangs his head. Paige shares she was relieved it was not Daniel who took advantage like that. JJ flashes back to being the secret lover in Eve's bedroom ... Jen seems to feel Dan is being the voice of doom and gloom about the scandalous secret coming out. She snaps to mind his own business. Alas he cannot as he cares too much. Jen tries to take off and runs into Nicole, who has just arrived. Nicole wants an explanation. Dan wants to keep discussing with Jen. Nicole notes Jen did not seem to want to stay. Dan impatiently shows nosy Nicole the door. She stands outside and listens, coming to the wrong conclusion when she hears Jen imploring him to accept they have moved on and stay out of her family's business. Dan cannot, he cares too much ... T gives woeful Will a pep talk about renconciliations, referring to Sami and EJ before the DiMera "died." He is interrupted when a barista calls, having trouble at the club with the big crowd and a broken machine. T asks where Sonny is. He left with Paul. Will is standing there and now knows too. He takes off in a rage. T also leaves ... Paige fails to notice that JJ is suddenly distant. She gushes they can go to a movie after she is done with the OR observation ... At the park, Paul speaks of the allure of fame and suggests Sonny too found it attractive. He roguishly reminds him of their rooftop makeout session a mere half hour after they first met. Sonny snaps he had no idea who he was! Paul Norita was not famous in Dubai ... Theresa goes over to Eve's, to enlighten her on the latest. She is ahead of Mel in the battle for Brady! Eve snaps so what, she plays dirtier is all. Theresa gets offended and takes off. Eve stands up to go after her with an aplogy but is sidetracked by Paige. She is elated to see her daughter until she hears she and JJ are back on track. Then she just pretends to be elated and promises not to stand in their way. And she can tell the Hortons that too... Brady is bothered at the house of Kiriakis. Summoned Mel sheepishly arrives. He lets her know he had a word with Theresa, who told how she confronted her. Mel is sincerely sorry for the secrets ... Nicole now believes Dan is trying to win back ex-lover Jen ... Paul is shocked he was so wrong. He had naturally assumed hie fame was one of the reasons Sonny proposed. Sonny points out he did not know about the fame part at the start. All he knew was he loved him with all his heart ... Mel claims she had a valid reason for venturing to Theresa's place. Brady already knows about the text she intercepted. She reasons she was really just trying to shield him from Theresa. Brady sighs talking to Theresa makes everything worse. Mel sighs yes, because she still loves him ... Jen scurries away from demanding Dan. Nicole confronts him for secretly trying to woo her back. Dan groans he has no time and takes a call from the hospital. He is needed in OR. No matter. Nicole follows him all the way to the hospital, until nurse Maxine escorts the dedicated doctor where he is needed. Nicole is feeling betrayed ... Jumpy JJ is waiting for Jen at Horton house. He laments Dan knows. She confirms he does. JJ wonders what they are supposed to do now ... Paul and Sonny soap stare and appear to be on the verge of getting closer when Will appears at the town gate. He glares daggers at Paul and calls him a son of a beech. Paul looks at Sonny. Sonny is not sure what to say... Theresa has finally found the note from Clint she had not noticed and breaks down in tears, alone at her apartment ... Back at the house of Kiriakis, Brady believes Theresa will eventually find herself someone new. However, he feels badly he used her to get away from the Kristen drama. And then she swore she had a positive pregnancy test, which was not true ... Mel's eyes widen as she flashes back to Nicole noting the mysterious Mandrake was a fertility specialist. She drops her glass. Brady turns and asks whether she is alright. Mel looks ready to faint ... THE END! |
