At the club, Nicole is still at her computer, about to search Serena's secrets until Marlena interruptus! She asks Nicole just what she is doing now. Nicole slaps the laptop shut and snaps at Marlena to mind her own business. Marlena suspects she was out to harass sweet Serena again and strongly warns against it ... Eric and Zander have a friendly greeting for one another, old friends from the Congo that they be. Serena smiles and starts to sweat ... Sonny silently enters the apartment and picks up an envelope. Will emerges from the other room and accuses him of avoiding him ... Paul is outside holding a cup of coffee in one hand, his phone in the other. It troubles him that Will told him he worried Sonny would want someone like Paul over him. He feels the need to reach out and tell someone, so he calls the club, only to find out from T that the boss is out but will likely be back later. Pensive Paul leaves no message ... Dan has done the JJ math and gasps OH MY GOD! Paige comes out with cute Parker and wonders. Dan covers ... JJ wants to know what Eve wants from him. She tries to stop him from storming off by grabbing his arm and blurts out she wants him to stay away from her daughter. JJ stands up and snaps he will not! Jen shows herself, her blue eyes cold as ice. She hands JJ his notes and sends him to class. But she stays to deal with Eve ... Eric innocently asks Zander what brought him to Salem. Zander charmingly suggests he ask Serena. Serena suggests he explain himself ... Sonny sighs he simply came home to pick up the envelope for work. Will sent him texts though. Sonny sighs a smiley face will not fix this. Will suggests they talk and gets close. Sonny is not ready and intends to get back to his club. Matter of fact the club is the real reason he even came back to Salem when he did. Will looks like he has been slapped a thousand times ... Marlena warns Nicole that if there is another public incident, Serena would be well within her rights to press charges. Nicole scoffs she does not really know the witch ... Zander smoothly states he has transitioned from fundraising to running a pharmaceutical company. He stopped by to suggest Serena write an article for him. Eric is all for it. Serena forces another smile ... Paige is sorry she said so much to Dan earlier. He is sorry she was confused, then looks even more tense when she tells him she and JJ are back together again ... Jen has harsh words for Eve, who went behind her back again thereby breaking their delicate deal. She threatens to call and tell her daughter what she did. Eve stops her ... Sonny informs Will he heard from T while he was in Arizona, that the club was doing badly due to the new competition. Will is irate he ignored his messages but talked to T. Sonny tries to make him understand he is not ready to have reconciliation talks just yet. It is all still very raw ... Will wallows in self-pity. When then? Sonny has no answer and solemnly slips out to return to his club ... Nicole knows Serena is a fraud! Marlena exclaims she cannot seem to let Eric go already! She suggests she let Eric find out for himself and focus on Dan. Nicole is in denial but gets to thinking ... Zander explains he is actually in Salem on otha biz and simply stopped by to surprise Serena. Eric excitedly insists the three of them have dinner tonight like the old days. Zan grins he will be in touch, gives Serena a knowing look and leaves. Eric can see his sweetheart is stressed. She acts like she was never a fan of Zan ... Paige gushes she has Dan to thank for sending her back to JJ cos he told her she should not settle. So Cole is officially out and JJ is in! Dan refrains from revealing what he now knows to be true and sees her to the door with Parker ... Despite her earlier outburst, Eve promises to play by Jen's rules and stay away from her son. JJ returns, as his class was cancelled. Eve creeps away. Jen assures her stressed son Eve will not come between him and Paige. She is now a non-issue. So she thinks ... Nicole decides to text Dan to make him see she is not obsessing over Eric ... Dan is home alone thinking. It takes him a long time to hear the boiling water for his tea. But it does not take him long to open his door to the latest visitor - JJ! The medicine man explains Paige went to the park with Parker. However, he has many questions ... about Roxanne. JJ stammers they broke up. Dan drawls Jen insinuated they were a fake couple. JJ denies it and starts to sweat ... Dan solemnly states if there is a problem, he will listen and help him, he will not judge him. He gives jumpy JJ a stern stare ... Will has an unexpected visitor at the apartment ... Tis T and he was worried. He and Will have known each other for years and he has hardly seen him since his return from LA. He wonders what gives with the state of the Wilson union ... Sonny is back at the club counter. Paul steps inside. Their eyes lock. Sonny indicates not here and Paul goes. Sonny goes after him and they head to to town gate, by the park and the spring tulips. Paul points out Will came to talk to him ...Eric and Serena share a kiss now that they are alone. He chides her for not letting him know she had another run-in with Nicole. Serena gets stressed again and overreacts ... Nicole calls Dan direct, wanting to talk. He drawls not now and hangs up. Nicole now spies Zander, who changed from one black shirt to another. They make light of the spill mishap and he impulsively invites her to join him and a few friends for dinner. Nicole woefully turns him down, believing herself to be taken. She would like to know his name. Zander. They shake hands and he holds hers for longer than necessary, a twinkle in his eye. Nicole is momentarily mesmerized ... Paige is sitting on a park bench, Parker playing in the distance. Cole comes over to warn her she is wrong to trust JJ the player. He will use her and break her heart! ... Eve heads home and obsesses she needs a plan, a new partner in crime ... At Horton house, Jen questions her deal with Eve, whether it will work, and wishes Alive were around to help ... Dan knows JJ overreacted to him offering him his jacket. JJ stammers he did not want it is all ... Serena starts to scream about Nicole and her two elephants sighting when there was only one. Eric sides with his sweetheart ... Paige pouts Cole does not know the real JJ. Cole quips she does not know the real JJ like he does. He wishes the sweet smart girl would not be so stupid in love ... JJ sweats outside Dan's door and then calls Jen before stepping into the elevator. He demands to know what she told Dan cos HE KNOWS. Jen is aghast as she said nothing ... Will and T sit in the kitchen with sodas and Will tells it like it is to his faithful friend. There is trouble in paradise and it is his fault ... Paul explains to Sonny that based on something Will said, he believes he is to blame for what happened. Sonny is surprised as that sounds like he made Will cheat. Paul sighs perhaps he sort of did ... Eric calms his damsel in distress with a kiss and promises to fight her future fights with Nicole ... Nicole notes Zander seems like the kind of man who always gets his way. Indeed. He saunters away ... Eve races back to the student lounge, loudly exclaiming she forgot and now found her scarf. She greets Cole, who grimaces her daughter dumped him. Eve has an unholy idea ... Parker has left with Maggie and Paige is alone at the park. JJ appears, demanding to know what she told Dan. Paige is perplexed ... Jen shows up at Dan's door to do damage control. She demands he leave JJ alone. He demands she stop telling him what to do and thunders HE KNOWS AND HE KNOWS SHE KNOWS TOO...! THE END Ahead on Days: Mel gets the big picture. Trouble for Theresa! Paul makes a confession. Dan and Jen butt heads! |
