Gabi and Eli enter, heaving overheard. Gabi assumes she is lying and asks Eli why he looks like that. She waits for him to deny it. Pause. He tells her he is sorry but the baby is indeed his ... In Hong Kong Hope tells Shawn her marriage should not have happened so an annulment sounds right ... Julie and Doug run into Rafe at the square. Doug calls him an s.o.b and Julie has something to add ... Stefan shows the burly head of hotel security a photo of Chad. He is on it ... Fake Gabi is at Stefan’s door. Chad comes up behind her and asks Miss for a word. He reaches out and she freezes. The head of hotel security stops him and addresses him as Mr. DiMera. Fake Gabi goes in the room. Chad wants to follow the woman who might have been involved in a murder but the head of security shows his gun and insists he accompany him ... Gabi calls Eli a monster and storms out. He goes after her. Lani cries tears of sorrow but JJ is horrified he and Gabi were the last to know for they were supposed to be their loved ones ... Shawn suggests Hope and Rafe might not be over. He believes she still loves the guy ... Julie blasts Rafe for staying in Salem to support his murderous sister instead of following Hope to Hong Kong. Rafe sighs he believes in his sister and whether they stay married is up to him and Hope. Julie cannot believe they were already wed ... Hope and Shawn, who has consulted for the Hong Kong police, wonder why the head of security has apprehended Chad. Chad gets sarcastic about drugs conveniently falling from his luggage and smells a rat ... Stefan catches up with frantic fake Gabi who tells him about her close call with Chad. He points out he promised he would take care of things. She hugs him and gasps she would be lost without him. Eli stops Gabi but she has already heard enough. He lied and lied about lying as well... JJ feels like the biggest loser. He realizes Kayla and also Val know. Now he understands why Val was against them getting married. He demands to know why Lani did not come clean to him ... Commissioner Hope can vouch for Chad but has no luck with the head of hotel security who goes by the Hong Kong book. She tells Chad to say nothing, she will accompany him and lawyer Belle is on her way. Chad whispers to Shawn about the mysterious woman he saw at Stefan’s door. Shawn heads upstairs and knocks. There is no answer so he gets his hands on the cleaning staff’s key ... Julie reminds Rafe how much he meant to Hope. How could he betray her with Sami! Rafe woefully listens until she trashes his family. He wants them left out of it and sadly states he knows he broke Hope’s trust. Doug reminds him he promised he would not hurt Hope but he did big time ... Hope is alone with Chad at the station as they wait. Chad hopes Shawn will get to the mystery woman cos once they have her they will nail Stefan ... Fake Gabi tells Stefan that hearing Chad frightens her for she can feel Abigail fighting to come out to him. Stefan reminds her he is here and he is on her side ... Eli agrees Gabi should be angry but wants her to know he was lied to by Lani, who even made him lie. This baby gave JJ life. Gabi tells him JJ must feel terrible now. And furthermore she will not forgive Eli ... Lani insists she loves JJ and wanted their life together. He sadly states the future he was happily planning was based on a big lie ... Shawn joins Hope and Chad and updates them how he got into Stefan’s room but there was no one there. Chad asks about Abigail. Shawn did not want to bother her as there was a do not disturb sign on the door. Chad is desperate to call her ... Meanwhile Stefan dines with fake Gabi in her room and tells her to enjoy this time. She tells him to kiss her so he does and then she kisses him back. Her phone buzzes with Chad calling but she does not even notice ... Chad leaves a message that something happened and they need to talk. Meanwhile Stefan stops, not wanting to take advantage. After all that is Abigail’s body. Fake Gabi wants to be true to her feelings and she wants him. They kiss again ... Gabi turns away from Eli. He sadly states he had to keep the secret for Lani and now regrets it. He tried to show how much he loved Gabi and wonders what comes next. She knows a baby and fatherhood is for a lifetime. His child deserves to have him so it is just as well the truth is out, for everyone except her ... Lani laments she wanted her life with JJ back when she learned she was pregnant but he was so happy. He made her realize they could have the perfect family. He fumes she kept lying. She weeps they were able to make it through before and repeats she loves him. She begs him to agree they shall overcome ... Gabi is ready to return to her cell. Eli insists he will make this up to her but she is done. She wants to go back to her cell and never see him again ... JJ tells crying Lani to get out of his sight. She weeps and walks out. JJ hangs his head ... At the square Rafe knows no words can express how sorry he is. He walks away. Doug assures Julie she was absolutely right. Rafe is a lying cheating coward who ruined his princess’ happiness. Julie hopes she will find it again and leans her head on his shoulder ... Chad informs Hope and Shawn that he left Abigail a message. He is worried the mystery woman might have been involved in killing Andre and is anxious to keep her as far away from his wife as possible ... Stefan stops kissing fake Gabi and excuses himself from the room. Fake Gabi now listens to Chad’s message about Stefan setting him up and cries in agony. Then real Abigail wakes up and wonders what in the world is happening ... STAY TUNED! |
