He asks about Ari as Gabi goes on trial tomorrow. Sonny sighs she is with Marlena and they hope for a good outcome. He bitterly wonders whether he had a good night with Will ... Lucas has met Will at the club. Proud Will praises him for staying sober. Lucas likes Doug’s Place and gushes he is gonna be spending time here cos Chloe is co-owner. Kate approaches and asks about Chloe. He declares they have a date as soon as she is back but Kate hisses like hell ... Shawn has breakfast with Hope in Hong Kong at her hotel. She sighs about her stress from Rafe and Sami, then sees a call from Rafe. Pause ... Lucas laughs. Kate suggests he wait a while. Lucas will not. She tells him Chloe is toxic. Will discreetly departs wishing his dad luck. Lucas looks forward to spending more time together. Kate suggests to Lucas that she has something to say that will stop him from dating Chloe ... Shawn urges Hope to take the call so she does and asks what Rafe wants. For her to come hooooooome ... Paul apologizes for what Sonny walked in on the other night. Sonny doubts it and reminds him how Will used him in the past. Paul retorts to mind his own business. Sonny snaps he will cos today his divorce was finalized. Will appears, having overheard. He looks rather relieved ... Kate offers Lucas a lucrative position at Countess W and adds he would not have enough time to spend with Chloe, after she and Chad steal the company back from sinister Stefan. He rudely refuses and reminds her he supported her strange relationship with Andre. He wishes she would do the same for him! Alas she worries Chloe will break his heart again. Lucas believes in second chances and steps away ... Hope needs time. Rafe wants to talk. She cannot come now though Eli has been updating her on the departmental happenings. She gasps not to get in touch anymore and hangs up. Rafe gasps he loves her ... Sonny pulls out his divorce decree. Will has not seen his mail yet. Sonny tells Paul he hopes Will does not go back to his cheating ways and walks away ... Kate catches up with Rafe at the station, asking if he has anything on Andre’s phone. Nothing so far. Kate can see he is troubled. He tells her things are hard for Gabi and Hope fled town. Kate suggests he give Hope time. Rafe fears it is too late ... Hope is back at the restaurant with Shawn. He feels Claire should not have stopped her wedding the way she did. Hope disagrees as Claire was just trying to prevent her from making a monumental mistake she had already made. Shawn thinks she should give Rafe another chance. After all they were broken up when he was with Sami. Hope thinks it is utterly appalling he turned to another woman after one night and sadly states she even spoke to Sami when he was there. Shawn urges her not to throw away their love ... Back at Doug’s Place, Lucas is desperate when he calls the skating rink where he planned to romance Chloe and learns it is closed tomorrow. Chloe comes up behind him and teases who is the lucky girl? She smiles with stars in her eyes. She flew in early. He wants to hear all about Vienna. She tells him of opening night with her parents and Parker in the audience. Lucas read her reviews and gushes they all loved her. He understood some of the German words and she giggles. He gushes about her talent too. She gets back to his date plans. He smiles she is the someone special and places his hands on hers ... Shawn recounts how he and Belle were brought back together by their daughter. He thinks Hope and Rafe could reconcile too. She gets teary and he adds he will support her ... Kate the breakup expert advises Rafe to be patient with Hope. He fears time is not on his side. Kate notes even cheaters can be forgiven ... Will sits at the square cafe with date Paul and apologizes for the things Sonny said. He feels like a different guy now and does not even remember the Will who cheated. Paul points out Sonny was stressed about the divorce papers. When he realizes the divorce was Will’s idea, he reaches out and takes his hand over the table. Will is touched ... At the pub Sonny is back at the bar staring at his divorce papers. The bartender is sympathetic and insists on getting him a drink. He recently broke up from a serious relationship as well and decided to get back in there. Sonny drinks up and asks him on a date. He is flattered but he cannot as he already met someone. He tells him of the dating app where he met his someone special. Sonny has that app but was not brave enough to try it. The bartender suggests he gives it a whirl ... Will admits it is hard only knowing his history from others. Paul notes he is not to blame but Will complains Sonny was furious he did not remember their time together. Paul points out Sonny is simply hurt ... Kate suggests Rafe give himself a break and not shoulder all the blame. He hangs his head in sorrow. He knows Hope feels betrayed. Kate believes she was betrayed but Hope is no angel, given what went down when she shot Stefano. Salem is not a city of glass houses ... Back in Hong Kong Hope confides to Shawn how happy she was with Rafe at Horton cabin. She knows she must come to a decision about their future and sips her green tea ... Sonny has learned how to use the dating app. He finishes his drink and the bartender encourages him to get started ... Back at the square cafe Will and Paul share chocolate cake. Will wants to pay the bill but forgot he is low on funds. Paul smiles it is on him since he initiated their date. First date. Will likes the sound of that ... Rafe returns to his office and hands Kate Andre’s phone. They found nothing on it connected to the murder. Kate suspects Stefan tampered with it. She admires the photo of herself happy with Andre on his phone. Rafe admits he always assumed it was only a marriage of convenience. She states they were surprised it became real but then he betrayed her by going behind her back with Gabi. Rafe mutters he too made a mistake. Yes but it was only one. Kate sadly recalls how she gave Andre an ultimatum and now she will never know what he decided ... Chloe ends a call with Nancy, who is spoiling Parker. Lucas reminds her of their date and gushes she is now a star. She smiles. He assures her they can just be friends if it is all she wants. As it turns out the rink is still open and the songbird wants to go skating ... Will thanks Paul for dinner. Paul gets why he felt pressure due to his and Will and Sonny’s old triangle. Will reasons out of respect for his marriage, he should not invite him home this night. They kiss. Meanwhile the bartender helps unsuspecting Sonny select a new profile that matches his own. He contacts the guy and gets an immediate response. He is back in the game but it might be the wrong game ... Shawn lets Hope know how much Ciara still wants her to be with Rafe. He will head off to meet Belle. Hope would rather remain and take a walk in the garden. She asks him to pass on a message to Belle - she needs divorce papers ... Kate tells Rafe that time together is precious. It is too late for her and Andre though perhaps not for Rafe and Hope ... Outside Chloe assures Lucas she is all for skating and they walk away together. A bald man watches from the shadows and calls his boss, stating the subject is back in Salem.
