Will is a wreck at the apartment, awaiting the return of the Sonny. Marlena cannot help but notice his nervousness. Will is all thumbs and accidentally knocks over a framed photo of the couple in happier times. He has to get it fixed! Marlena thinks he would do well to start talking instead ...He sighs Sonny does not want to speak with him much ... Sonny is at the hospital and has just tried to reach someone to let them know he is running late. The nurse assumes it was his hubby. Sonny agrees and then gets to thinking ... Paul and his mom have a table at the club when he gets a call from Sonny, who would like to talk. He is on his way! Tori tries to stop him but has no success. Paul points out Sonny is his ex and gets going. At the door, he runs into John, who drawls he is glad to see him. Tori hears the familiar voice and freezes, her back to him. He is a secret from her past but no one knows it yet. BOOM! John praises Paul for his courageous article. Paul thanks him, though he has to head somewhere. John walks in and gets a coffee. Tori turns and perceives it really is HIM. She turns back around in a panic. As John conducts police biz on his phone, she feebly asks the server for the back entrance. Tis closed. Tori orders a green tea and tries to blend in. She does not want to be spotted ... Pretty Paige is pouty at the house of Kiriakis. She came to pick up boxes for the charity drive. Maggie suggests they make a list of all the boxes' contents and comes across Daniel's jacket, smiling JJ wore it once. Paige freezes, her back turned ... Roxy is outside in Salem, stressed that JJ's mom actually called her parents. This is getting too tangled for her liking. Roxy likes to keep things simple ... Jen drops Eve's keys at her office and Abigail picks them up. She reads the initials on them and does the math ... Adrienne anxiously knocks at the door of Horton house. Lucas opens the door with a big grin ... Abi asks her mother what exactly she is doing with Eve's keys. Jen stammers Eve forgot them. Abi offers to give them to her to avoid any fireworks. Jen snaps to hand them over. Abi is aghast her mother is actually set on snooping around Eve's apartment. Jen does not deny it. She wants a clue, any clue that will link Eve and her claws to JJ ... Roxy finds JJ at the park with Eve and gets angry, assuming that Larson lady is harassing him about PEG again ... Lucas is here to fix the ... chimney ... Adrienne admits she saw his car and ... was compelled to come ... Will woefully informs Marlena his spiritual guru that Sonny is mad and is not gonna forgive him. Marlena patiently points out Sonny's pride and trust were betrayed. Will hangs his head. He claims to be troubled that Sonny kept his proposal to Paul a secret all this time and suggests he feels like Sonny was in a hurry to get married to forget Paul ... Things get intense between Eve and Roxy. JJ implores Mrs. Larson to get lost. She pretends to leave but lurks behind the gate. Roxy explains everything exploded. JJ tries to make her relax and suggests they speak privately in her hotel room. Eve marches after them, so far unseen ... Lucas can sense Adrienne's anxiety. He assumes she is anxious because he kissed her. He announces it was wrong and he is withdrawing since Justin is back in town. Adrienne sighs things are not the same ... Sonny toys with his wedding ring. Paul enters his room. Sonny gets sarcastic and then states what he wants. The whole story of Paul and Will. Everything ... Lucas attempts to give Adrienne a pep talk. She wishes she could return the favor. She explains she used to run a construction company, in case he needs help with that blocked chimney. She has some time before she picks up Sonny. Lucas is ready to get down and dirty. She hands him the spray that will loosen the blockage and warns him to expect some falling soot. Too late! Lucas is soon covered in soot and she giggles. He gets cleaned up and teases she has a little soot on her face. He touches her cheek to rub it off and their eyes lock with longing ... Will woefully wonders whether Sonny is only using him to forget Paul. Marlena wonders whether Will is trying to shift the blame for his own cheating. She advises him to talk to Sonny. Will sighs and if they are unable to communicate? Then she will provide the name of a counselor. She promises to be there for pair. The whole family is rooting for them ... Paul tells Sonny the tale of Will the interviewer never being told the name of Paul's past love. This surprises Sonny. Paul also points out he was pushy and flirted with Will outrageously, perhaps to forget that Sonny had just rejected him again ... Sonny demands to know if there was a second time. NO. Will turned him down, cos he loves his hubby ... Maggie perceives that Paige is perturbed and puts away the jacket. Paige did not bother to look! Maggie is sorry she mentioned JJ. Paige sighs she is also in a state over not being able to reach her mother. Today is a day they were supposed to spend together, to remember they were there for each other when her father left. The redhead smiles to go find her mother then ... Abi reasons Eve did not actually make JJ cheat on Paige. Jen updates her on the pretend galpal from Chicago, Roxy. Abi is baffled. So is Jen but she is a well trained reporter and senses all roads lead to evil Eve. Hence her break-in plan. Abigail advises her not to break the law. She should try talking to Roxy again for answers first. Jen reluctantly agrees and tries to reach her. Voice mail again. Perhaps she should show up at her hotel room in person ... When foxy Roxy gets JJ to her hotel room, she starts to seduce him. He thinks they should not mess around. She muses they can practice to be believable in public. Knock knock! Tis raging EVE ... She hisses she has not finished. Roxy gets the creeps, grabs her bag, and departs, declaring she is done ... JJ rages at her for ruining his perfect plan. They are all alone. The background banshee makes a lustful moan .... John gets off his phone, muttering about outstanding warrants and stands up. He shows the baristo a photograph of someone. Tori jumps up and makes her great escape, only to run into Marlena outside the club. The blonde smiles and asks about her Salem stay. Tori stammers she is in a hurry and scurries off. Puzzled Marlena joins John inside ... Eve leers JJ should not have trusted that piece of fluff anyhow. JJ deduces the she devil is jealous and takes his shirt off, taunting is this what she is after ...? Eve shoves him on the bed and they get hot and heavy, oblivious to the outside world, the fact that the door is slightly ajar ... Marlena smiles she is sorry she is late. She was with Will. John points out he saw Paul. Marlena adds his mother was there too. This is news to John, though he thinks nothing of it, as he does not think he knows her. They cuddle over coffee like a couple in love. Tori opens the door and peeps inside, spotting them together ... Paul finishes by urging Sonny to speak with Will. Sonny sighs Will suspects he only married him cos he could not have Paul. Paul notes that is not correct ... or is it? Pause. There stands Will in the doorway, his eyes staring at Sonny with accusation. BOOM! ... Paige gets home to her mother's apartment and checks the bedroom. No one there. She tries calling again and Eve's phone vibrates on the floor next to the bed in Roxy's hotel room ... Jen pushes open the door, calling out for Roxanne. She enters and stares in stunned silence at the sight of JJ doing the deed on top of Eve her worst enemy. BOOM! THE END! Ahead on Days: Sonny drops a bombshell! Jen blames Eve for making JJ drop his drawers! |
