Brady has a visit from Nicole at the ornate house of Kiriakis. She is pretty in pink and pretty sure he will be happy with the headline of Whitmore the corporate crook wallowing in prison where he belongs. He is indeed! Nicole cannot help but notice the sweet picture of Brady and Mel on display and teases she is jealous. She is happy for the cute couple and trash talks Theresa. Brady pauses and admits they spoke the other day after she saved him from spiked coffee. Nicole has her suspicions and sincerely hopes she is over him. Brady is unsure, uninterested though he feels compelled to insist the girl is not as bad as she seems. Somewhere in there she has a heart. So long as she stays away from Mel ... Theresa confronts nurse Mel at the hospital, demanding an explanation about Mandrake. Mel slowly replies she does not know Mandrake and acts surprised she cares. Theresa complains about creepy Clint owing her money. She tried to reach him via a contact number he left behind by accident but Mandrake cut her off. Mel soap stares and chooses her words carefully. She heard Clint talking to Mandrake ... At DiMera mansion, Chad stands seductively close to Abigail and murmurs how far would she go to protect Ben? He knows she likes her bad boys like him and EJ. She gasps what does he want? He murmurs what does she think he wants? Abigail cannot believe it ... Ben arrives outside Jordan's office and listens to Clyde's heartfelt declaration that he loves his son and appreciates Jordan not coming between them. She believes he does love Ben. Clyde gets choked about about the bad father he was, the bad things he did, and praises her for taking Ben away cos he was in no condition to be a good parent back then ... Cole comes up to pouty Paige at the campus lounge. She laments she is in a lousy mood, Cole offers to be her shoulder to lean on ... Jen insists to Dan that JJ is not dating Roxy, an old boarding school friend who dwells in Chicago now. Why, JJ has not been in Chicago in ages. This must therefore be a lie and it must all be Eve's fault! Dan attempts to reason with her and wants her to take a deep breath, step back from this obsession that all roads lead to Eve. Jen humors him and he leaves. She decides to do some digging ... Eve glares daggers at JJ hugging foxy Roxy at the town square. She grabs her by the arm and screams is this the girl? Is this his latest victim?! Roxy breaks free from raging Eve, wondering who the hell she is. Eve hisses she happens to be Paige's mother! JJ is frazzled and frustrated by her fury. Eve rages at them for hurting her daughter. JJ rages right back her mom hurt her too. Roxy gets a call and agrees to meet JJ by the park later ... Abigail suspects Chad is after s-e-x and calls him sick for wanting her to buy Ben's freedom. He taunts then he would be able to tell who really was better in bed. Abigail hauls off and hits him across his smug face. Chad's head snaps, then comes back up with a sly smile. He finds it funny she actually thought he was serious and taunts he wanted her to tell him what she would do for her Benny boy. Abigail gets even angrier ... Clyde blames himself for Ben's problems, the terrible temper he inherited from him that could lead him to imprisonment. Ben appears and begs to differ. It is not Clyde's fault ... Mel sneakily changes the subject to Theresa lying to Brady about being pregnant and accuses her of being jealous. Theresa's eyes are filled with hurt and she asks if Brady made any mention of their conversation the other night. No. Theresa snaps stay out of her personal business and storms off in search of the next showdown, feeling highly hormonal ... Ben is baffled by his family's worry and wonders whether Chad has decided to press charges. Jordan sighs she has not spoken with him since their breakup. Clyde lets it slip Abigail went to see him ...Chad points out he already promised Benny a get out of jail free card but Abigail wants the whole truth ... JJ thinks Eve should go before she ruins his perfect plan. She insists they are not done so he walks to a secluded spot in the park with her ... Mel comes to the Kiriakis mansion, where Nicole awaits with Brady, who conveniently gets a business call he must take in another room. Nicole updates Mel on the Mandrake mystery. There is one place she can look for him ... Mel cuts her off, for it matters not, she changed her mind. She would rather avoid Theresa and her mess at all costs. Nicole accepts that though she does not say SHE will stop searching ... Ben bellows Abi will not be left at the mercy of Chad the bastard DiMera. Clyde blocks him from making yet another bad hot head decision ... Abigail the former reporter wants to know what Chad meant when he blurted out it was not supposed to be about Jordan. Chad wants her to let it be. She does not. Chad now blurts out it was really supposed to be about HER! Abi blinks in bewilderment. Chad laments he lost her and he lost Jordan so leave him alone! Exit Abigail ... Theresa storms over to Dan, who is with Parker at the club,and proceeds to trash talk Mel, who keeps asking her about a Dr. Mandrake. Dan is not interested and says goodbye, to return to his son. Theresa snaps she is not done. Nicole appears and snaps she sure is ... Jen manages to get Roxy's number from her folks and calls her. Roxy claims the connection is bad when Jen asks for a meeting. Click! ... Tis time for Jen's backup plan ... Paige has just asked Cole to hang out with her. Daphne appears and he grins he will come up with an idea on what they can do. He will be in touch. Daphne joins Paige, who claims she just wants to forget JJ and Roxy, wishing them to hell. Daphne is concerned about her delicate state of mind, where it might lead her ... Brady is back in the room with Mel, who admires their framed photograph and points out they ought to pose for another. Selfies and smiles and sweet kisses ensue ... At the park, JJ impatiently explains to Eve how hard it was to set this up with Roxy the fake girlfriend and urges her to back off. Now at least Paige will cease searching for his other woman. Eve claims to be concerned her daughter has been hurt. JJ is exasperated ... Dan goes back to his son's table. Nicole demands to know why Theresa was hounding and pressuring Parker's papa. Theresa leers all his ladies are such beeches and rampages away ... Brady lets Mel know they have the support of Nicole. She innocently asks what they spoke about. Family and work and the fact that they would both rather avoid Theresa ... Eve is relieved to learn that Roxy is about to leave town ... Alone again, Chad flashes back to Abigail admitting she did care, then blocks the thought from his head, returning to the letter he is about to sign ... Abigail returns to the hospital and assures Jordan, Clyde, and Ben that Chad has not changed his mind about not pressing any charges. Ben and Clyde are suspicious. Abigail believed him, however. Ben escorts his girl back to her office. Clyde grovels, grateful to Jordan yet again, and exits her office. Outside the door, his demeanor changes. The mobster calls his man to make sure he still has Kiriakis exactly where he wants him - down and out! ... Brady the businessman must take another call. Mel wonders about the mystery again, where it might lead ... Nicole lets Dan know she is sorry she interfered. He is not sorry and lets her know he appreciates it. Now he must take Parker to his play date. Nicole feels filled with hope ... Jen remembers Eve trash talking JJ and takes out the house keys she forgot. A bold idea is born ... Eve slyly suggests she and JJ still need to be alone to speak and adds they can head to her place. She gives him her best come hither look. And so begins the final chapter of their indecent EXPOSURE ... THE END! |
