Adrienne pauses outside Sonny's club and leaves him a message on the payroll update, then sighs she would like to speak with him. She is extremely stressed ... Justin greets his wife, standing before her with his packed bag. He is Dubai bound to bring that business deal to a close. She gets upset he was not around enough for any of them, not her, not Sonny, who was having problems in his marriage way before this emergency. Justin asks her to explain that to him. She demands they discuss their own martial problems instead ... Will the RUTHLESS reporter is working the phone, having refused an interview, preferring to prepare more for his next scandalous story, a followup on Paul. Lucas arrives at the apartment and asks for an update. Will made Tori get Paul to leave Salem. Lucas disapproves of his intent to further investigate Paul. But Will is driven and determined and smells a story. Lucas advises him to stick to saving his marriage. Roman now arrives, having been summoned by Will, who lies he is researching the history of Salem. He seeks clarification on who was allowed on the highly guarded compound by the lake once upon a time ... Paul pleasantly assures his mom on the phone he is packed and good to go. John stops by his hotel room, as asked, and Paul starts to say he is leaving for San Francisco. John talks his charity for kids, charity that will help them not only with little league but with other needs they have. Softy Paul agrees to postpone his trip a few days and stay for the charity benefit as requested. John is thrilled, especially when he smiles and says yes to posing for pictures to get the cause that is so close to his heart on the front page of the local newspaper ... Dan has summoned Maggie to the hospital, as she is Brady's AA sponsor, just in case ... Mel stands by her tired man Brady in his room, and blames Theresa. Brady wonders. A nurse enters and Mel excuses herself. She is a woman on a mission ... Clint reaches for the syringe in his bag as he makes out with Theresa and she snaps what is he doing. He lets the needle fall into the bag and produces a condom. The loving continues, until hurricane Mel comes banging on the door ... Paul's mother is at her son's door, having overheard his exchange with John. She slinks around the corner when John comes out, then storms into her son's room, where she overreacts ... Will now knows the following DiMeras were on the armed compound at the time in question - Stefano, Kristen, Peter ... Roman has to head back to the station. Lucas still does not approve of Will's ambition making him take unnecessary risks ... Justin patiently points out he has a deal to close. Adrienne now accuses him of having an affair with Elsa. He admits he did sleep with her and regrets it but has to humor her. He gives no timeline of the affair ... Tori cries why is her son doing this ... Paul assures her after the worthy cause, they will leave. It is only a few days and during the time he is not helping they will stay inside the room. He grins and gets going to the square, where he is expected soon ... Brady groggily wonders where his girlfriend has gone ... Theresa opens her door to mad Mel, who calls her a beech for what she did to Brady. Theresa gets nasty right back and notes she was busy with her own new man. Shirtless Clint stands there with a grin. Mel gets flustered and takes off fast. Clint wants to know what she said about Brady. Theresa says nothing specific and sends him out to pick up some sandwiches ... When Justin casually claims he also has to take care of business, Adrienne snaps and slaps him ... Will is increasingly obsessed with the photograph of Tori on the DiMera grounds. Lucas wants him to fix his marriage.John now arrives with a request. Lucas attends to noisy Ari in the next room. John excitedly asks Will to get his charity benefit mentioned on the Sonix site. Will is happy to oblige the worthy cause - until John shows him the advertisement with Paul's name and a later date. Then he excuses himself in a huff ... The test results are trickling in and Dr. Dan has made his own deductions of what went down. Brady assures him Maggie can stay and hear this too. Dan explains someone tranquilized him with a dart to the neck and then drew blood from his arm. Brady is utterly baffled. Why would anyone want his blood? Now Abe enters, adding to the drama with the news that they found his wallet at the house with money missing. Brady was robbed! The culprit even disabled the security camera. Brady would rather Victor not know anything just yet. Maggie agrees. He is en route to Chicago at the moment. Dan and Abe step out to discuss the developments ...Mel returns to Dan's office, when Maggie is finishing a phone call with butler Henderson, swearing him to secrecy. She informs Mel that someone attacked Brady to steal his blood, and the fellow redhead turns a whiter shade of pale ... Justin gathers his wife is upset and sighs he is sorry. She cries did he tell Elsa they are through? Justin alludes to having to finish his Dubai deal first. Adrienne calls him a name. He holds his tongue, unable to tell her more ... John charms Ari with his playfulness and shows Lucas the flyer for his charity before leaving. Lucas takes a look at Paul's name and sighs he knows where Will is now ...Will storms over to Paul's room, where he finds only Tori. He refuses to listen to her that it is only a few more days, furious that Paul might be in Salem when Sonny comes home and Sonny will see his name on that flyer ... Theresa tries to call the hospital for a report on Brady and gets mad only family can be informed. She hangs up and drowns her sorrows, noting they were family for a few minutes once when they were married ... Justin murmurs to meltdown Adrienne he would rather not leave her like this. She sobs he already left her long ago. T'was abandonment ... Paul joins John and three of the kids for the photo shoot at the town square. John grins as Paul charms the children with his playfulness and they pose for the picture. SONNY suddenly arrives at the square and stares at Paul, who stares right back, the three kids on his lap ... Clint calls Mandrake from the park. He promises to get Theresa's blood another way so they will have what they need, both her and Brady's blood ... Justin tells Adrienne he will be in touch and disappears. She whispers an unhappy adieu into the air, touching the wedding ring she claimed had no more meaning ... Will tries to intimidate Tori. Either she gets Paul out of Salem or she will have to explain why she never wanted him to know she had been here before. Tori calmly claims Paul has no connection to her early days in Salem but Will knows better and drops a bombshell. He knows for a fact that Salem is where she first met his FATHER! Tori pauses ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Will gets tougher with Tori! Nicole and Dan are clooooose ... JJ feels he has a chance. |
