Woman in red Jennifer stands her ground at Horton house. She hisses at Eve to stay away from her son! She does agree to let her attend the performance to watch pretty Paige but she had better not even look in JJ's direction. Eve counters JJ could never get her daughter back anyway and storms out. Jen takes a deep breath ... Upon hearing JJ's heartfelt declaration of love, Theresa taunts Paige will never take him back, cos she knows what a dog he is. Paige angrily intervenes and shuts her raging aunt up. Theresa seems to sober up fast, fumes about prissy pants not appreciating her efforts, and stalks away. JJ dares to hope his dream girl might be ready to give him a chance. No such luck. Pretty Paige weeps she wants to be left alone and walks away from him, having postponed her own performance ... Mel with the messy hair and buff billionaire heir Brady are heating things up in bed. She giggles and then gets serious about the risk they are taking, going from best friends to lovers. He agrees and then she decides it is worth the risk, throwing her hellcat self on top of him. Brady responds like the hotblooded love addict he is ... Hope happily brings Ciara to the Kiriaiks mansion for a visit with Victor and Maggie. The Greek grandpa appreciates the Alcatraz memento from the little heiress as Maggie mutters to Hope how unhappy Victor has been. Why he never sets foot outside the house anymore. Hope believes she knows the reason ... At the town square, dapper Abe is talking on his telephone. It is police business and he ponders the judge's reason for ordering that stay on Stefano's arrest warrant ... After slowly sinking into her seat, Kate regains her composure and greets Stefano graciously. He grins. Chad grins too ... Mel wishes she did not have to return to the hospital but she has a shift to finish and Theresa could cause trouble. Brady hopes she is done with her investigating days. She is indeed. No more Theresa or Mandrake or whoever ... Bad boy Clint is back in town, conferring with with Dr. Death - aka Mandrake - on a call by the town gate. He knows what he has to do on this final mission. There are two parts to the plan, involving Brady and Theresa ...Kate questions the wisdom of Stefano surfacing, stating there are charges against him and he could be facing 15 years if apprehended. The phoenix takes it all in stride. When his glam young assistant enters to pass something on, Kate whispers to Chad did he know he was coming? Chad replies he did not and chuckles when Kate claims to be in complete corporate control ... After Ciara negotiates two lemon bars from the original one she was promised, she leaves the room with Maggie. Hope goes to Victor, who has heard about Aiden and wishes her only happiness. They hug and Hope sheds a tear, touched to have her former father-in-law's support ... The board meeting gets underway. Profits are up ... Stefano is openly appreciative of Chad for his excellent work. Kate chimes in she was at the helm with him. There are two co-CEOs. Pause. Stefano now notes the time has come to make a big change ... Brady is still in bed with Mel when he reads her tattoo Meant to Be. She explains she got it in Paris to commemorate reuniting with her parents after all that time. Brady notes she knows everything about him and yearns to hear about her past relationships, particularly in Paris. She sighs she was too stressed to be serious, as she had been running away from the madness of Nick and Andrew, not to mention the duplicity of Chad DiMera ... Theresa is furious to find Clint at her doorstep, acting cavalier about the way he left. She fumes he dumped her. He smoothly states he had to leave town and change his number cos he owed some creep money but now the debt has been settled so here he is. She demands to know who the hell Dr. Mandrake is. Clint has to think fast ... JJ is unable to stop Paige, who berates him for breaking her heart ... Hope updates Victor on her personal mission to find and bring to justice whoever attacked Sonny. She wonders why he suddenly looks so pale ... The Greek grumbles his wife must have complained to her. Hope cannot deny it and asks why he never leaves the house. He grins he has email and has been telecommuting up a storm. Abe suddenly calls Hope about Stefano and the staying of his arrest warrant. The dedicated detective does not comprehend how the judge could do such a think and speaks his name. Maggie and Ciara are back in the ornate room. Hope morphs into work mode and arranges to meet Abe at the club. Much to Ciara's chagrin, it is time to go. The little girl just loves the swank of the mansion ... Kate hisses with all due respect, it is not Stefano's place to suggest such a thing .... The beautiful assistant gets down to board business. There is a new proposal they have been emailed. Stefano waits and watches their faces like a hawk .... Brady and Mel romantically declare their love for one another and give into temptation... Clint lies he likes to get quality drugs from his old friend Mandrake is all. He gets down on his knees and begs for forgiveness. He vows to make it up to his baby. Theresa tells him he had better and he grabs her, grinning like a DEVIL ... Jen arrives at Salem U and wishes JJ luck ... Eve finds out from Paige's professor that she is not present as she decided to postpone her performance ...JJ is the first act. He sits and strums his guitar, playing a soulful song he wrote for Paige once upon a time. He plays it and remembers. Paige watches from the shadows and remembers too ... Eve observes JJ and her eyes are filled with lust ... Victor and Maggie are alone now. The redhead wants to have a word. The tycoon would rather take a walk alone ... The board members mull over the proposal. Some say it is promising and aggressive. One notes there is no mention of telecommunications. That is when Kate makes her move. She announces she intends to take the company forward, not back, with her acquisition of a small patent-holding telecom company ... Theresa is summoned back to work and lets Clint know they will have to catch up later. He gets up from the couch where they had been making out and muses he too has something to take care of ... Mel calls boss Maxine, to let her know she is on her way. Moments later,Brady pulls her back into bed for a few minutes more. She giggles ... JJ finishes his tune and hangs his head. He looks up with hope when he hears the applause ... Kate boasts she will bring the company forward. Stefano has his doubts. When she adds the telecom company she just got via hostile takeover is called Glendora gasps fill the room ... Chad takes it all in. He knows the master is about to make his most lethal move ... Kate is confused ... Nurse Mel now kisses boyfriend Brady at the hospital and he goes on his jogging way. Theresa taunts she was not the only one who got lucky today but Mel lets her know she has no interest in any of her activities ... Jen hugs JJ and the lights go out. Parts of the city are experiencing a power outage so the professor must postpone the rest of the show. Jen wants JJ to come home but he would rather remain a while ... At the club, snappy Hope and suspicious Abe discuss the latest DiMera drama. Stefano's lawyer insisted he get the chance to make his own case now that EJ is no more. Hope snaps he died months ago so why now? What is Stefano really up to in Salem? ... The board members exclaim tis a disaster! The phoenix assures them he knows the best way to proceed ... Kate is floored to find out she just stole the small telecom company of absent board member Shin. The company was in his wife's name. Kate is utterly horrified. Chad enjoys his front row seat ... Eve gingerly approaches JJ in the dark and calls his piece beautiful ... Theresa boasts her boy toy is sexy and unpredictable ... Loose cannon Clint is tailing Brady at the park. Brady is on a run. Clint is right behind him with a GUN ... Hope argues with the D.A. on her phone and decides to storm over to find out what Stefano is up to ... The power is apparently out at Chez Rouge. Victor does not miss a beat and wants to take that walk. The redhead reasons she saw the look on his face when Hope spoke the name of his judge friend who helped Stefano. The Greek gets indignant for he would never do anything for Stefano, and steps away, a glint in his eye ... Stefano leans back in his chair and gives Kate a triumphant stare. She gets up and points the finger at him, accusing the S.O.B. of setting her up. Stefano revels in it ... So does Chad .... THE END! Ahead on Days: Brady is attacked! The board has spoken ...
