At the club, Theresa is drunk as a skunk with serious Eve, who questions her state during working hours. Theresa slurs and acts silly at the table. Eve is elated when pretty Paige appears. She is pleased her daughter has a date with someone new ... Theresa laughs anyone besides loser JJ and continues to amuse herself in her drunken stupor ... At Horton house, JJ soulfully strums his faithful guitar. Mama Jen applauds, looking forward to the student talent showcase today. He frowns he is failing music, then updates her on trying to win Paige back. She pretty much told him to go to hell. However, he loves her and she loves him so he will try again. Jen shares her reservations and reasons perhaps he should tell her the truth first cos the truth always comes back to haunt the Hortons. JJ suggests the truth is overrated and refuses to ever tell the girl of his dreams. He leaves for the campus. Jen gives Tom and Alice's framed photograph a long look ... Paul pounds on Will's door, he knows he in there! Lucas opens the door and calmly invites him in. They sit on the sofa. Lucas introduces himself as Will's father. He knows precisely who Paul is ... Will refuses to be dismissed by Tori and stops her from closing the door in his face. He triumphantly tells her they have to talk ... At DiMera mansion, Chad the cad gives Stefano a hearty Italian hello on the phone. The phoenix is pleased to hear the stage is set for the boardroom battle and Katarrrina suspects nothing ... At the house of Kiriakis, Victor breaks out the champagne, as Kate assures him that Shin is IN ... Eve gets anxious upon hearing JJ tried to win back her daughter's affections. Paige pouts she told him off. Theresa falls all over the table, amused by his audacity ... Paul glances at a stuffed bunny and family picture of smiling Will, Sonny, and Arianna. His eyes are filled with guilt. He asks about Will. Lucas gives him the evil eye and admits Will is not home at the moment ... Will insists to Tori that her son is staying in Salem to break up his marriage. Tori insists her Paul wold never doing anything so dishonorable. Will snaps like her?! Tori does not take him seriously ... until he claims to have proof she lied about never being in Salem before ... Paige stops and sighs JJ did seem sincere. Eve urges her not to go there ... Stefano patiently points out his son should not be overly confident. Chad arrogantly announces he will be the sole CEO of DiMera, of course under the great guidance of his father. He claims to be sorry Stefano could not set foot in Salem due to those dreadful tax evasion charges. Stefano slyly states he is not bothered about it. Chad does not bother to question that comment. Perhaps he should ... The phoenix laughs it is too late for Kate and she has no idea what awaits ... Kate and Victor enjoy their champagne. She is looking forward to losing Chad so she can be the sole CEO of DiMera. The Greek growls good riddance to the cad who did not care how much money he made Sonny lose ... They toast to the delightful demise of the entire DiMera clan ... Paige assures Eve she is never giving JJ another chance. Not ever! Theresa cackles as Eve claims he lied and lied and lied. Then she excuses herself. Theresa slurs she will go with Paige and tell her all about boys on the way ... Lucas is glad to have this chance to show Paul Will and Sonny's happy home. The baby makes a noise and he goes to get her. Paul makes for the door but Lucas is already back in the cozy living room holding sleepy Arianna, whom he wants to introduce. He suggests Paul is only waiting in the wings to make his move on Sonny ... Paul denies it and feels the pain of his actions as he observes innocent Arianna. Will wanted him to see the little one, who has the most to lose. Will and Sonny are her everything ... Will presents Tori with a printout of her picture taken down by the lake years past. She claims it could not be Salem. He claims it is, indicating the DiMera boathouse in the background, and raises his voice. Why did she lie to Paul about never being here...? Tori suddenly feels very small and whispers what does he want ...? Theresa staggers all the way to the campus with Paige and slurs the last guy she really liked for a few seconds turned out to be gay ... Paige looks around and gasps in horror ... Tis JJ! Theresa offers to tell him off. Woman in black Paige wants to handle it herself and demands he explain what he is doing here at the showcase. JJ assures her he had no idea she was also performing. He has to play a song for credit. Paige goes all DIVA on him ... Loyal Lucas refuses to let anyone shatter his granddaughter's delicate little world. Paul starts to reply but Lucas stops him. He asks him to leave. Exit Paul ... Will states his case to terrified Tori. He suspects Paul is only staying in town to come between him and Sonny and he will not sit back and lose the family they have made with their daughter! Tori is sorry but she cannot do anything. Will snaps either she gets Paul to leave Salem or he lets him see the picture of her hanging around the DiMera boat house years ago ... Kate has a few words of encouragement for Chad before they leave for the big board meeting together. He pretends to be grateful he got to be her co-CEO. She pretends to be proud of him. The truth is, he thinks he will become sole CEO on this day, dropping her, while she believes she will be sole CEO, finally dropping him. Tis a double play ... Will gets home and tells Lucas his Tori story. Lucas tells him his Paul story. Will is grateful ...Eve rushes over to Jen's house, raging about JJ. Jen hisses to shut up. Eve urges her not to tell anyone she and JJ were together. Jen sticks out her chin and accuses her of seducing her son. Eve cackles and accuses him of being a more than willing bed partner ... Jen states their deal still stands. Now she wants her OUT as she has a student showcase to attend. Eve is aghast that JJ is performing. Paige is performing as well ... Paige rages she is not gonna perform now and storms off to tell her professor. Theresa taunts JJ the fallen prince ... Will receives a text from Hope with more on the boathouse. It was remodeled after a storm in the late 1990s so the picture of Tori standing there was before the late 1990s. Will informs Lucas. He claims not to care what Tori's secret is, only that she make her son leave Salem. Lucas hopes he will go. Will does too and asks if Arianna agrees. She smiles and coos. Lucas takes her back to her bed for a nap. Curious Will takes another look at the Tori picture and looks closer, shocked to see the BIG story he had not noticed before. The implications are HUGE ... Theresa the lush loudly taunts JJ. He argues back with her and announces he will never give up on Paige, for he loves her and always will! Paige has just returned and stares in surprise, having overheard his heartfelt declaration ... Paul unhappily heads back to the hotel and complains to his mother he went to see Will. She gasps what did Will say? Nothing, he was not home, but he met his father and his and Sonny's beautiful baby. He feels badly now and wonders whether he should do the right thing and just leave Salem as she suggested ... Victor is home alone with his champagne, wishing he could be a fly on the wall of the board meeting from hell ... Kate pauses outside the door to hand Chad copies of what she calls their presentation. The chair of the meeting greets them and bids them enter. Kate hopes Shin is here. He is but his leather chair is turned around. When he whirls around, tis smiling Stefano, who devilishly drawls unfortunately Shin was unable to make it. Chad almost chokes on his drink and watches Kate, who slowly sinks into her seat, trying not to blink. Stefano is in his element. This is the prelude to WAR! THE END! |
