Lucas visits the apartment hoping to see his grand-girl but she is asleep. He peers at Will, who is pouring over papers at his desk and wonders. Will explains he is searching through anything he has or has since found on Paul. He plans to make him leave Salem before Sonny comes home. Lucas retorts he would actually resort to blackmail?! Will reasons he and Sonny do not stand a chance if Paul is still in the middle. Lucas gets it and sits down to help his son save his marriage. No matter what it takes ... While Will pours over the papers, Lucas goes through some digital photos Will has on a device, some of which were evidently downloaded from Paul's family photos. There is one of young Tori standing by the lake which Lucas thinks it is the north side of the Salem Lake! Will wants confirmation. Lucas knows Hope would know but warns she would ask questions. Will thinks the potential payoff far outweighs the risk. This could be the hot lead he has been waiting for ... Tori walks to Paul in the park, pointing out the need for privacy due to the delicacy of this discussion. She exclaims he cannot try and break Will and Sonny's vows for they are sacred! Paul points out surely she would not want her son to lose his true chance at romance, given how hard things were for her that his father died before she even had such a chance. Tori assures her son he is her whole world and she wants him to be happy. But marriage is sacred! Paul believes their marriage is broken. Will cheated. She asks how he knows. Because it happened to be with HIM. Tori is horrified ... Before Hope has to check in at the station, she meets Aiden at the club. They kiss. John soon approaches, seeking a description of a possible repeat robber Hope knows ... She knows who he means and gives the description by heart. Cool John thanks her, he will get the guy now, and goes. Aiden admires his lady, who can turn her detectiveness on and off like a switch. She teases and flirts and then gets a call from Lucas, asking for her input ... Eric walks with Brady through the hospital hallway. Theresa the terrible is on the warpath and demands they ask Mel to stop spying on her, stop investigating Dr. Mandrake of fertility fame! Mel comes along. Brady blasts Theresa for overreacting and wants a moment alone. Eric asks to speak with Mel and so they head for Dan's office ... Meanwhile Mandrake has creepy Clint in his office. He has a file to show him with two photos inside and Ms. DiMera's instructions, which he is expected to follow to the letter. Clint cannot say no ... Nicole wants to know WHAT Serena is doing here. Dropping off books and WHAT is she doing here ... Nicole frowns she was about to finish getting lunch ready and advises her to be gone when she gets back from the other room. They she walks out. Serena scrambles to see which elephant is the right one when she hears Dan greeting a neighbor. The medicine man is on the move so she has to think fast ...! Enter Dan. Serena flashes a strained smile. He suspects she already saw Nicole. Indeed. But he had told her he and Nicole were over! She starts to excuse herself when Nicole comes out in her grey coat, having overheard. She adds she is relieved nothing was damaged ... Dan wonders ... Serena hastily departs. Dan knows Nicole was up to something and suspects she is clad in something sexay under her coat. He kisses her passionately then stops, stating he will need more time to trust ... Nicole confesses she is losing her patience. Dan suggests they tie shop together and have coffee. Nicole is satisfied with that. For now. He sees her to his door, alluding to wanting her too much, then asks about that comment she made about anything being damaged. Nicole notes Serena knocked over his two elephant statues. Dan declares he owns only one. Nicole pauses outside his door ... Brady surprises Theresa by stating he agreed with her that Mel should stop digging and Mel will not do it anymore. Theresa taunts they must have argued. They did indeed but then they made up. She gets mad again ... Paul insists to his mother that he was not aware that Will and Sonny were married when he had his indiscretion with Will. She suggests Sonny has deep feelings for Will, which is why he married him and if he does not, why on earth would Paul want to get involved with such a person?? ... Hope apologizes for having to rush. Aiden gives her a kiss and promises to make romantic plans for their date night ... John now approaches Aiden for a chat and they head out to the square with their respective coffees. Aiden assumes this is another don't hurt Hope warning. Not at all. John sees how serious they are about each other. This is about ... baseball ... In Dan's office, Eric asks Mel to talk Serena into staying in Salem, cos she said she is leaving. She had no idea her friend the freelancer was saying such things and agrees to talk to her. She must stay cos she and Eric are a great couple. Clueless Eric is counting on her to convince his new flame ... Hope is now at the apartment with Will and Lucas, and confirms the picture is indeed the lake in Salem. She asks about the beautiful young woman. Tis Tori, mother of Paul. Hope now drops a bombshell. In the background is the DIMERA boathouse. This means that Tori, who claimed to have never been to Salem before, had spent time on the DiMera property! The son of Sami smells blood ... John informs Aiden he heard from the little league commissioner that Chase is a super shortstop and he looks forward to COACHING him. Aiden is all for it. John just wishes all kids could have the chance to play little league. If only they had more funds ... Just then Paul happens by. Aiden thinks he could be the answer to John's prayers for he, if anyone, could help raise funds with his fame ... Brady gets back to Mel. Eric excuses himself to take his latest proofs to PR. Brady and his girl share a passionate kiss on the desk ... Clint calls Ms. DiMera's new mission dangerous. Mandrake stares at him strangely ... John explains to Paul they were just talking about him, how he could help fundraise for the kids who cannot afford to play baseball. Paul had assumed his name was no longer respected. Wrong! Aiden asks for two autographs - one for himself and one for his son. John grins at the sports star ... Eric runs into Serena at the town gate. She tells him she is too busy but upbeat she could be done with a certain project by today, today could be the day she was waiting for. Eric agrees to catch up later and smiles a knowing smile ... Brady is still with Mel, now kissing by the nurse's station. They are so into each other they do not notice Theresa nearby. She had hoped to go drinking with her sis but has to stay and sort out a payroll problem. The sight of the lovers kissing makes her want to scream. She takes the stairs to avoid everyone ... Dr. Death solemnly states it is time for Clint to conclude this business with both. Clint looks down at the two photos in the file - Theresa and Brady, the targets of his dangerous mission ... Paul heads over to the apartment to talk to Will and knocks and knocks on the door until Lucas opens it with a grimace ... Tori opens her hotel room door to Will. His eyes beaming with blackmailing glory, he states he is sorry for the intrusion but they simply must speak ... Serena has the elephant statue in her room and scratches at the bottom, but there is no secret compartment. She took the wrong one ... Meanwhile Nicole mulls over the significance of the second statue Dan knew nothing about. Time to do some digging ... THE END! Ahead on Days: It's Friday the 13th. Expect the unexpected! |
