Chad has found Andre’s phone in the locked drawer of Stefan’s DiMera desk. Proof! Meanwhile Dr. Kayla wonders where Abigail as well as her glasses went ... At DiMera mansion the ever so serious Dr. Laura alter is asked by Stefan to put on Gabi’s outfit. He has to speak to her stat! She warns against it. He threatens to call the cops and report Abigail. Laura thinks what would make things worse. He repeats to let him see Gabi or he will make that call ... At the pub Lani overhears JJ suggesting Val mind her own business. Val believes it is her business! Lani sits. Val apologizes. JJ suspects something. Abe too ... At the station Eli ends a call with Marlena about Gabi loving Ari’s art. Julie sweeps in wanting to discuss Gabi. She is sorry when he states she was found with evidence. Eli appreciates it until she calls Gabi guilty cos if she didn’t off Andre who did?! ... Chad thinks he has hit pay dirt. Stylish Kate comes in and he shows her he got the goods on Stefan. ... Laura laments the Gabi alter is getting too powerful. Stefan begs. She warns him he will never have either Gabi or Abigail. He offers to speak sense into her so things stop being so screwy. He then threatens to report Abigail to the cops. Dr. Laura grabs the dark wig and heads upstairs ... Kate is horrified and asks where Stefan is. At the mansion. She is shocked Chad broke into the locked drawer and reasons Stefan must have taken the phone after he offed Andre. She starts to call the cops but Chad stops her. First he wants to confront him. She warns Stefan would make him lose his cool and suggests he come up with a plan so he doesn’t see him coming ... Jen joins Kayla, who lets her knows she has Abigail’s tests ready to go. Jen gasps and asks what is wrong with her daughter ... Upstairs Stefan gets to see the Gabi alter again. She is furious he made her find out she is only an alter! She complains Abigail made her clean up the mess though the truth is she did not kill Andre. Stefan promises to protect her and points out he framed the real Gabi. She appreciates that but is having an identity crisis ... Eli insists Gabi is innocent and was set up. Julie counters she was caught hiding evidence so it does not look well. He vows to prove her innocence. Julie lists all the Hernandez crimes and morality issues. including Gabi killing. She wants better for her grandson, someone who would be worthy to raise his children. Eli gives her a look ... At the pub Val smiles she cares so much and would hate to see anything go wrong for JJ and Lani the nice young couple. Lani lets her know the wedding is what they want. JJ seconds the notion. However, the former cop still senses something and asks what he is missing. Lani reminds Val the baby means the world to them both and hopes she is happy for them. Val sadly states she is, then weeps it reminds her of Eli. Abe wonders why ... Fake Gabi hates not being real. Dr. Laura will not let her live! She thanks Chad for being on her side and suggests he kiss her goodbye before she goes. Stefan stares down at her, feeling the temptation ... Abe asks Val to clarify. She cannot stop remembering her history with Eli and the guilt she now feels. She should not have robbed a man of knowing his child. She should have told his father the truth! Lani believes she made the best decision. Abe hands Lani the silver rattle for baby and suggests they celebrate with coffee. He grins and goes to get the pot. Lani asks JJ for tea so he steps away. The two women disagree. Val was worried when she heard she had to be hospitalized with the baby. Lani snaps to back off and gets a call. Chad summons her to DiMera cos he has something big ... Kate is pleased Chad is proceeding with caution as she suggested. She believes Stefan and Vivian will soon be behind bars. Then Gabi will be free. Chad adds and maybe Abigail will not be so fragile. He fears she could have a relapse from the stress ... Kayla is sorry she cannot break doctor patient confidentiality. She steps out to take a call, leaving Jen alone with the file. Jen opens it and starts to read ... Fake Gabi has decided to go on the run. Stefan asks if she will keep wearing the wig. She will and starts to go for her freedom. Stefan stops her ... Eli tells Julie to let it go cos Nick was a monster! Gabi is a good woman and wonderful mother. He compares her to Julie cos they both love fiercely. They are both in his heart but Julie had better back off or they are over ... Lani meets Chad and Kate at DiMera mansion. pleased to have Andre’s phone as evidence for Trask. Chad warns her that Stefan was seen drinking with her soooo ... He asks her not to report finding the phone until she has more ... Stefan argues Abigail will suffer if fake Gabi goes and so will she cos Laura is always a step ahead. No one gets ahead of the gatekeeper! Fake Gabi talks freedom. He warns Chad would move heaven and earth until he found Abigail. Fake Gabi asks what it means to him whether she stays or she goes ... Julie looks like she has been slapped. She worries about Eli! Eli loooves her. She smiles he has the spirit of David and wishes she had reached him. So many regrets for all the days of her life. Eli the grandson was her gift. David should have known him as well! Eli wishes he had known his father. Julie now promises to make nice and makes him promise not to shut her out. He agrees and they embrace ... Kayla returns. Jen has read all about Abigail’s memory loss and headaches. She gasps has she got a brain tumor?! Kayla suspects stress. Jen wants to believe it. Kayla lets her know Abigail left after she stepped out of the office and wonders where she went. Jen starts to call her ... Fake Gabi and Stefan stand closer. He claims he does not want to clean up her mess, hence his wanting her to stay in Salem. She sees the call from Jen and ignores it. Chad warns they could come looking for her. Fake Gabi plays the message from Jen about Abigail leaving before her tests and gasps this must mean Abigail is attempting to oust her. Now what? Stefan feels she should not take flight but stay and fight instead ... Abe apologizes to JJ for Val. He is elated JJ is making him a grandfather and they laugh together ... Val meets Eli at work and woefully updates him on what Lani said. He had promised his mother he would take some time to think about whether or not he wanted to know his child. Eli admits he is now having doubts about his decision ... Chad knocks on Stefan’s door, Lani right behind him. No one answers so Chad, who is legally still the owner of the mansion, decides to go inside ... STAY TUNED! |
