THE MISSION ...
- The chaos continues around the comatose Bo Brady, who starts to convulse in his bed after Billie answers the phone to a perplexed Hope. Billie screams for a doctor cos Bo is DYING
! Hope is in a panic, fearing that Bo could truly be at death's door while she is too far away to even
see him. Bo is in cardiac arrest ... Dr. Lexie to the rescue! Hope clings
to her phone still, desperate to know what is going on. The connection suddenly goes dead. She is overcome, as the last thing she heard was that Bo had no pulse! Here eyes are filled with dread. She cries her heart out and John reassures her with a hug.
- Meanwhile, back in Salem, Dr. Lexie proceeds to zap the Salem patient.
- Abe and Roman have been sent for by Mayor-elect EJ! They are not exactly thrilled to arrive at the DiMera mansion. Roman points out Abe is still the mayor until EJ the thug gets sworn in. EJ opens the door and tells Roman how sorry he is about Bo. Abe and Roman want him to cut to the chase. EJ is a gracious host but Roman and Abe are mighty suspicious. Abe is ready to explode. EJ now smoothly attempts to strong-arm Abe into NOT getting back together with Lexie. He reminds angry Abe that he is under investigation. If he does not cooperate, then he will hand him to the D.A. on a silver platter for tampering with the votes. Abe curses at
his enemy. EJ has promised to pardon Abe but only if he stays away from sister Lexie. EJ and Abe argue. Mayor-elect EJ calmly smokes his cigar, convinced he has the upper hand. Abe refuses to make any kind of deal with the devil. He is enraged that he, of all people, would dare imply he was not honest. Roman prevents Abe from attacking EJ. He defends Abe's integrity and also Abe and Lexie's relationship. EJ is not interested. He threatens to replace Roman as commissioner. Abe warns EJ that his and Lexie's love will conquer all. And their marriage is strong enough to survive anything ...
- Will comes to the loft and meets papa Lucas.Tis father and son reunion time! They are happy to see each other. Will soon finds out that Lucas came to town as Sami claimed she needed him. Will becomes disdainful about Sami, convinced she merely wanted him to help her save her own rear end. Lucas notices that he is being rather hard on his mother. Will certainly hopes he is not being taken in by her again. He is surprised that Lucas is already aware of her tryst with EJ. Lucas admits he was not impressed with Sami, but he is far more concerned about his boy. Will suspects Lucas will fall for Sami and her tricks again until Lucas explains he happens to be happily engaged to a girl called Autumn. Will is very
glad that his father intends to stay in Salem a while Lucas plans to spend
a great deal of time with him, too. He loves his son and missed him terribly. He now wonders why he works for EJ and urges him to quit! Will is evasive. Lucas presses him to come clean about what is going on with him. Will finally confesses EJ blackmailed him. He knows he was
the one who shot him all those years ago! Lucas wonders how he found out. That is something of a mystery. Will explains EJ blackmailed him to work for him but now he actually enjoys the perks and the power of the DiMera World. Lucas frowns. He himself worked for TONY DiMera, EJ's brother once upon a time, though in the long run, it was not worth it.
Getting drawn into the DiMera empire is a big mistake ...
- Lexie has stabilized Bo but his prognosis is still not great. Billie runs
into Kate, who assumes she still cares for Bo. Billie would rather not discuss him with her mother, though she does still feel close to him as
they share both a child and a past. Turns out Kate even thought Billie
wanted to come to Salem for Bo more than the job offer. Billie denies
it.
- John tries to get upset Hope to be positive. He reminds her to focus on their mission - to break into the courthouse and steal back their passports so they can return to Salem. Then she will be able to see for herself what is happening with Bo. They prepare to steal back their passports, like
thieves in the night! Cat burglars Hope and John are in synch. Hope helps John defeat the security system, using what she learned when she was Princess Gina.
Despite the urgency of their predicament, on some level it feels like old times ...
- Back at the mansion, EJ warns Roman to make Abe agree to his terms. He advises him to talk some sense into Abe, for if he does not accept the deal, he will be a former cop in the penitentiary. A sitting duck. Abe and Roman leave in a huff. There will be no deal!
- Kate invites tired Billie to the DiMera mansion. Billie quips that is the last place she would ever want to be! They discuss Countess Wilhelmina and the future. Billie mentions evil Ian but Kate acts like she was never
an item with him! Billie has heard Ian is a womanizer. Kate does not give away anything to Billie about her long affair with Ian, though she does
slip in a catty comment about his current flame, Madison.
- Will and Lucas disagree on him staying on team DiMera. Will is grateful his father is back in town, but now decides to end his visit.
- Billie is back at Bo's bedside. She is terribly worried and tries to encourage him to get better.
He has so much to live for ...
- In the land of Alamania, cat burglars John and Hope have broken in and know exactly where they need to go, courtesy of the blueprints. They sneak around in synch and realize they are close to getting their passports when they find the locked filing cabinet. John smoothly unlocks it and they proceed to search for their own files. Within seconds, however,
they are unexpectedly BUSTED ...!
