There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Belle helps Phillip to his feet at the park and screams she will call the cops. AS it turns out his attacker is a cop he knows. He convinces Belle to let him handle this and reminds the rabid commander Salem is not his jurisdiction ... Ed and John are waiting in Ed's room. Rafe arrives and drawls he has a unit ready. He soon finds out John and Ed's assassins agency would be able to defeat any department without anyone even knowing they were there. Rafe argues and refuses to withdraw. The disguised voice that calls orders the two men to an address and adds no cops or the hostages DIE ... Belle races back to the Edge and starts to send a text, make a call, then stops ... Phillip insists he did not kill the commander's daughter. They were drinking and she must have been doing drugs, unbeknownst to him. When he woke up she was already dead. The commander continues to blame him and bellows, out for his blood. It is broad daylight at the little park. He has him by the collar acting rough when Deimos appears out of the blue. He is filming with his phone and threatens to expose the cop, noting he also knows more of his questionable activities. The tough cop talks back. Deimos smoothly suggests he stop bothering Mr. Kiriakis, unless he wants him to contact the commissioner. The corrupt cop sneers and steps away. Deimos is smug. Phillip laments he is indebted to him but Deimos disagrees. He praises him for producing the formula as promised and points out he will soon find a nice sum in his Cayman Island account. A far as he is concerned Phillip is not indebted to him, he has proven his loyalty and is therefore HIRED ... Joe suggests Ciara get her revenge. Theo asks if she is alright. At first she cries she is not. Then she asks to be alone with prisoner Chase. She screams and forces him to repeat what he did. He does and she picks up a bar, blasting him for his betrayal. How could he?! Chase quivers and cries he could not stop. He begs her to get it over with, whatever she plans to do. Ciara drops the bar and tells him he is done, this boy who is no better than his father was. She numbly makes a call ... Hope is at the station with Gabi, who is a nervous wreck. Hope is waiting for word from Rafe. Ciara calls and asks her to come to the old mill warehouse. Alone. Hope hears the urgency in her voice and leaves JJ with Gabi. He assures the crying young mom that Marlena will protect sweet Arianna until they bring her home. He tenderly comforts her ... Rafe is ready with his backup. Ed disagrees. John does too. The people they are dealing with would not hesitate to kill the hostages. It is THEM they are after so they must give them what they want. John admits he was in the same organization as Ed. Rafe rages at Ed for putting them in this danger and gives them one hour. After one hour, he will mobilize his men and move in. Ed muses if they are not out by then, it means they are both dead. He seems to sense it is his last mission ... Hope is horrified to find Ciara alone at the warehouse with Chase all tied up. She is even more horrified when Ciara updates her on what he did to her. She consoles her daughter, then turns on her attacker. HOW COULD YOU! She screams. Chase cries. Ciara calls him sick. Hope calls a unit to come make an arrest. She assures Ciara she is not to blame as she said stop and no. It was enough. The police officers race in and Hope angrily orders them to cuff and book him for sexual assault in the first degree. He is carted off howling he loves Ciara. Mother and daughter embrace, ignoring he who is now dead to them ... Belle gets a call from Phillip, that he is fine. He soon joins her at the nightclub, which is not yet open. She worries that was the cop whose daughter died in his room. Phil notes he will no longer pose a problem as he has certain skeletons in his closet which could come to light. Belle suggests she ice his jaw. He suggests something else and kisses her ... John and Ed gingerly arrive at the empty warehouse by the airport. There is a thermos on the ground with two cups. They suspiciously wonder. A man's disguised voice ominously welcomes them. There are two snipers above, aiming at their targets ... The teens return to the old mill warehouse and worry that Chase may have escaped and taken Ciara with him ... Ciara is at home sipping tea from Hope. Hope assures her daughter she can tell her anything and notes it is good she was tested. Ciara sighs she was too late for evidence. Hope gently suggests she get counseling. Ciara bitterly refers to herself as one of those survivors. Knock knock! Hope opens the door to Claire, Joey, and Theo, who are concerned about Ciara. Hope wonders whether they were with her and Chase. Claire lies they were not but she was a no-show when they were supposed to meet. Hope tells the teens Ciara is fine but this is not the best time. Joey and Claire get going but Theo remains outside the door and texts Ciara ... The voice of doom orders John and Ed to drink the contents of the thermos. John demands to see the hostages first. A shaft opens and Marlena is seen clutching Arianna, a gunman next to them. The men try to step forward but the snipers above fire warning shots at their feet. The shaft door shuts ... Rafe returns to the station. Gabi is in a state. He tells her not to worry. John and Eduardo are connected to the people who have Ari and Marlena and they know them. They will bring them both safely home. Gabi worries what if they cannot and cries on her brother's shoulder ... When Hope steps into another room, Ciara slips out to meet Theo, who texted her. She tells him Chase has been arrested and she is fine. Theo says good. They stand holding hands together. Theo is strong and supportive, no words necessary ... Belle teases Phillip about his own questionable past and they kiss. Claire comes in and freezes at the sight ... John glances around. They have been ordered to drink. Ed opens the thermos and appears to pour what is inside into the two cups. John takes his cup and they toast. Ed's eyes narrow. He notes they would be dead by now if they wanted to kill them. John raises an eyebrow and glances at the snipers. He drawls it is time to find out and they pretend to drink as they continue to play it cool ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Shots ring out!
