Episode 12,038 - Jen and Dan woefully watch each other at the nurse’s station until he gets escorted off by a nurse wanting to discuss a patient’s meds. Maxine mutters to Kayla they have been like that all day long. Kayla thinks they will be able to find their way back to each other tonight at Maxine’s special celebration at the hospital. The nurse of the year takes it all in stride. Kay later presses Jen to attend the pub party, while elsewhere Maxine presses her biggest inspiration Dr. Dan to attend. He agrees. Dan assures Maxine she inspires him too. She deserves to be honored and it will certainly be her night. He excuses himself to check on a patient. Meanwhile, Jen explains she must video chat with JJ’s school advisor as he is having problems. She is sorry and walks off. Kayla and Maxine compare notes. Maxine suspects whatever is between these two goes deeper than a lover’s quarrel. HR Anne eavesdrops around the corner. - Chloe opens the apartment door to Nancy, who hugs her daughter and giggles she is up for the challenge. She got rid of Jen’s brother Mike so together they can get rid of the boring Barbie too! Nancy perceives Chloe has lost weight. Chloe admits it is due to the Dan/Jen fiasco, plus she has a headache. So does Nancy, who travels with calcium, pain killers, as well as sleeping pills. She suffers from insomnia. Chloe hopes they are not addictive. Negative. Nancy gets back to the issue of Jen. They will find a remedy to be rid of her. Chloe gushes then she will have a clear path to Daniel and the happy family Parker deserves. Nancy warns her that she can destroy the competition, but you cannot necessarily make someone love you. It does not work that way. Chloe stares with her baby blues. Nancy points out much has happened. Chloe claims she just wants two parents together for her child. Two parents who love each other, like Craig and Nancy. She and Daniel were once so happy. And unlike Jen, she can give him unconditional love. They just need to make him see that … - Eric begs Nicole to help him see what this thing is she keeps mentioning. She laments he is not even sensing what she feels and does not get why, given how intuitive he is! Eric is sorry and woefully shakes his head. Perhaps he is being dense about what she is trying to tell him … Ciara interrupts with a picture she drew of him in her first communion class. He hugs her when she says she loves him. She confesses she actually wants to marry him when she grows up. He chuckles. Nicole’s eyes fill with tears. - At the high class house of Kiriakis, Brady is packing his briefcase. His luggage awaits. Victor growls about him living with that woman! He thunders GOOD GOD and calls it the bowels of hell when Brady writes down his nefarious new address for Maggie. The DiMera mansion! Brady frowns. Victor exclaims it turns his stomach to think he is moving into the DiMera house of horrors! Glamorous Maggie does not understand. Brady talks love. Victor rages on. Maggie urges him to calm down and wonders if Brady is stepping down from Titan. Negative. He promises the Greek tycoon his company will not be compromised. Victor gets a good stiff drink and snarls if he walks out the door, he should not even bother to think about coming back! Brady is prepared to hand over his Titan ID card. Victor grumbles he is good at his job so there is no need. “Business is business” he quips and exits. Maggie is hopeful that one day Brady will come to his senses and salvage their relationship. Brady worriedly wonders about his relationship with Maggie too. He fears he let her down. She cries she is concerned though her door and heart will always be open to him. They embrace and he whispers his thanks. - Butler Henderson greets Kristen with the keys at the DiMera mansion. The locks have been changed as per her instructions. Master Stefano returns tomorrow. Once alone, Kristen muses she is back at DiMera mansion, she is rising from the ashes too! She walks around, admires the chess set, then stares at Stefano’s portrait and taunts it to welcome her back home. She folds the sheet which covered it and thanks him for getting the ball rolling on her revenge. Now it is time to celebrate in style. She pours herself champagne and vows to make the most of having Brady around. “To moi!” and she greedily drinks up. - Chloe gets a call from flunky Anne, with an update. Daniel will be attending the party tonight, but not Jen. Purrfect! Nancy comes back in the room with playful Parker. The redhead announces that papa Dan texted and he is on his way over! Chloe pretties herself up. - Jen is at Horton house, where she has just ended her chat with the school advisor. Kayla arrives and announces she will take her to the pub party. She notices she has logged off and Jen confirms the chat is done. Kayla offers to read a magazine while she changes. Jen resists. Kay knows her reluctance to attend is about Dan, but everyone can see that they are crazy about each other. Jen informs her that Chloe came between them and it was more than a disagreement. - Devil with the blue dress on Chloe opens the door to Daniel, who greets her and then Nancy. Chloe sweetly excuses herself to get something at the store. Parker jumps all over papa Dan and Nancy announces they need to talk. - Eric sits Ciara down as Nicole watches. The man of God explains that Roman Catholic priests never marry. It was a choice he made and he is married to the church in a way. Nicole sadly excuses herself. Eric stares.
