In the club John gets a coffee ta go, well aware of the Arianna birthday party that is being planned for today. Kate says he will be missed. He gave doc his present to bring as he has work. Kate wants a word about his son ... At the park Sonny smiles at Paul ... At the apartment Will is on the phone with a couples counselor and Marlena enters. She wonders which one. Will admits he was too late for the first appointment and Marlena questions his commitment ... Rafe and Hope convene in her office, looking for clues on Clyde. Enter Aiden, who dropped by to say hello. Rafe does not reveal what they are really doing. Hope talks Thai food tonight after Ari's party. He will be waiting and kisses her, teasing Rafe seems to see her more. Then he leaves. Enter Roman, who suspects they are searching for clues on Clyde ... Ben is at the pub leaving Abi a text he missed her last night. Clyde joins breakfasting Ben and notes he is touchy. On account of Chad wanting his girl??? Meanwhile dressed Chad places a pink rose beside sleeping Abigail, who is peaceful in his bed. He grins a grin of victory ... Will denies any wrongdoing and points out his newer doc keeps couples together. Marlena disagrees. It is the people in the marriage who must want it to work. Will tells her he is in trouble! ... Sonny wonders whether Paul was purposely avoiding him earlier. Paul denies it. Sonny asks how the nephew is. Saw him once. He wonders what is up, since he last told him he was only willing to meet to discuss them. Sonny heard him loud and clear ... Chad bends down to bid his dream girl a good morning. She gazes up at him with her doe eyes ...Hope states they are working on an old case. Rafe is helping with background. Roman wants details,including Rafe's involvement. Rafe claims Davis will have it wrapped up by next week, distancing himself. Roman departs, his eyes doubtful. Hope thanks Rafe for his discretion. They will need to finish fast ... Ben has no intention of going to battle with Chad again. Clyde claims he has not moved on from Abigail. He could have almost any woman. Ben boasts not Abigail ... Chad gets in bed beside the fair Abigail and offers to make her breakfast. Reality sets in and she becomes distant. Chad decides he should go first ... Kate coos John must be happy to have Paul in his life. John sighs to get to the point. She hopes Paul is not going to come between Will and Sonny and their happy little home .. Marlena deduces Will is being melodramatic again. He frowns he found out from Sonny himself that he is still in love with Paul ... Sonny informs Paul it caught him off guard that he walked away the other day. Paul points out Will and Sonny were fighting. Sonny updates him on the delayed appointment and then Will's honesty test. Paul starts to go but Sonny stops him. He spoke the truth to Will, which is the problem ... Chad gently states last night was everything and she knows how he feels. He touches her arm and adds his father has been pushing him to pursue her. It is an obsession of sorts. Abigail is horrified and accuses him of playing her to make his father happy. DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN! Chad now blinks back to reality. He has not spoken the words and imagined her reaction ... Kate suggests Paul will be sorry if he does not stay away from Sonny and Will. John counter threatens her SHE will be sorry if she does not leave it alone ... Paul informs honesty seeking Sonny that he knows how he feels and Will stated how he feels sooooo Sonny must decide. He promises to respect his decision and goes. Sonny is grateful. He has a great deal to think about ... Marlena reminds Will that he asked Sonny to be honest. Will reminds her he and Sonny are married and he should be the only one he loves. Marlena tries to make him see that old loves never die. Will snaps Sonny cannot have feelings for another. Marlena snaps not to tell Sonny how he is supposed to feel. Will laments he cannot lose him so now what? Marlena warns him he will lose if he acts out in desperation instead of believing in the power of their love ... John is pleased to see Paul at the square and they agree to hang out. He proudly grins can he tell folks he is his son? Paul proudly grins of course cos that is who he is ... Rafe and Hope discuss Victor considering Clyde a dangerous man. She wonders about Jeremiah. Rafe suspects he is a plant and they go over his every word, which could have been scripted by Clyde ... Clyde gives college boy Ben a pep talk, promising him money if he needs it. But do not let a woman make you craaaaaazy. Exit Clyde. Ben rubs his chin in thought ... Chad admits he has long wanted what happened last night so it was not wrong. Abi gasps but how to tell Ben? Chad suggests she keep it a secret even if it did not mean much to her. He promises not to push and leaves the ball in her court. She gasps she has to go. Chad's eyes fill with sorrow ... As Hope gets busy at her computer, Rafe decides to casually contact an old FBI connection. Hope suggests financial forensics. She warns Rafe to be careful, since Victor backed down. Rafe thinks Clyde cannot be all that clever. He gallantly opens the door and follows his partner against crime out .. At the square, Aiden has presented the financial paperwork to Clyde, who believes he looked after his interests excellently ... Roman sits with Caroline and Arianna's big wrapped present at the pub and points out Sami sent over a princess castle. Caroline misses the clan and asks Roman when she last saw them. Roman reminds her she went for a visit to California 2 weeks ago. Caroline complains. Roman shows her the pictures and she starts to remember the good times, who she was with and the fun they had. Roman suggests calendar dates and she laughs ten-year old Johnny can be her personal programmer. Roman laughs he uses Ciara but she costs a lot ... In the rose garden, Abigail reads her messages from boyfriend Ben and nervously notes she must go to the party. Chad will not be in attendance. She breathes goodbye and glances over where they made love the night before ... Ben gets her text about heading to Arianna's party and smiles in relief ... Marlena joins Will and Sonny and Ari at the prettily decorated club. Will wonders where Sonny has been. Sonny admits he saw Paul. Will's face falls with worry. Extreme worry. Sonny states they spoke is all and takes the 2 year old birthday girl to the arriving guests. Marlena gives pouty Will a pep talk about trying ... Paul joins John at his office and they talk Tate. Paul tells him he may have been rude with Marlena but she enlightened him on things working out in the end for a reason. John agrees in silence ... Abigail gets to the party and Sonny sees she is stressed. She assures him all is good with Ben ... Ben runs into a club employee at the park who has the hots for Chad. He warns her she will get burned by the guy but she flounces off not heeding his warning. Suited slick Chad emerges. The tension in the air is thick ... Will and Sonny pose for a picture with Roman taken by Abigail, who is absolutely aglow. Will kisses hubby on the cheek for the photo. When the guests step away, Sonny criticizes Will for putting on a show. No need to be forced with family. Will thinks him seeing Paul was detrimental and says so ...John the philosopher asks Paul if he believes in fate, hence his need to come to Salem. Possibly. John points out he might not have come out without meeting Will and sighs, sorry for the state of things. Paul remains pragmatic. John praises his mother for the marvelous job she did raising him... At the party Kate offers to take Ben and Abi out for dinner. He is a cut above those DiMera boys! Abigail anxiously excuses herself. Will approaches Kate and criticizes her for being so cut throat with out of town Lucas. She coos it is business. Rafe drawls to Will that Abigail is after another photo. Alone with Kate, he notes it is nice to see her without Clyde. She wonders whether he likes always being alone and leaves him to ponder ... Clyde wants to continue the conversation. Attorney Aiden stands up and explains he has somewhere to go. Clyde claims he will not be late picking up his son. There is still time, Ominous music plays as Aiden asks how he knew he was on his way to pick up his son ... Back at the party, Hope assures Roman he will have her report soon. Sonny tells Will he has to check on the cake and walks away. Marlena asks Will whether there is tension. He dramatically declares staying calm is not an option ... Chad nods and starts to walk past the town gate. Ben calls out "DiMera." Chad turns back, wonders what he wants. Ben glares daggers at him and and accuses him of being with Abigail. Chad coolly meets his stare, smirking ever so slightly the way DiMeras do... THE END! Ahead on Days: Kate exposes Lucas and Adrienne. Justin wants his wife back! Will vs Paul. Hope has a hunch that Clyde is a killer! |
