In her hotel room, Eric urges Serena to share her story but he is losing his patience with every passing denial. He threatens to walk out unless she starts talking. Serena gulps in her black and white dress ... Chez Dan the medicine man has discovered the empty secret compartment in Parker's elephant statue. He promises to fix it later and lets his smiling son know he is taking him to grandma, where he will be able to swim. He teases him and the sound of piggles are heard (Parker giggles) ... Nicole the snoop has finally found Zander's deep dark secret on her computer. She stares at the screen which shows the black sheep Kiriakis spent time in the Scottish slammer for murder. Nicole wants the details and is dismayed when the firewall shuts her out. No matter. Never give up seems to be Nicole's motto ... At the grand Kiriakis mansion, Victor gives Zander his next orders. Leave Salem at once for he is OUT! Zander pleads and promises to stay away from Dan's woman. Too late. The Greek growls to conclude his business, get him his cut and get out of Salem. Zander points out he happens to be blood. No use. He leaves hanging his head but when he gets outside he morphs into a maniac ... At the club, Clyde sits with casual Ben to update him on the story Will is writing. He warns some details came out about his drunken past and suggests Will will write a well balanced article about a changed man. Everyone can change. Ben bitterly scoffs. He has a certain someone in mind ... Chad and Abigail are passionately kissing in the romantic rose garden. She breaks free with a gasp and runs away. Chad calls after her and waits. She shyly returns and they continue kissing ... Eric is incensed that Serena is still trying to deceive him and departs ... Nicole manages to get back into the information only to learn the files on the crime cannot be accessed ... Abigail and Chad get busy removing the clothes between them. They give into their passion in the dark DiMera rose garden. Tonight's the night ... ... As fate would have it, Eric runs into Dan and Parker at the square. Dan updates him on the secret elephant statue compartment that was empty. Eric pauses and flashes back to the elephant statue in the picture but he does not let on ... Serena is upset in her room and holds Zander responsible. He needs to be neutralized ... Meanwhile Eric is on his way back to her room ...Nicole's sleuthing is interrupted. She gets an unexpected order at work, to meet with a wannabe whistle blower about a story on Salem Power she did in the past. Nicole sneaks out in her dark hood, intending to make it appear she is still at her desk. She worries she is still being watched, as Serena had warned ... At the park, Zander howls and rages into the night that he will NOT be stopped, he takes WOT he wants. How he loathes Daniel the favored one! He knocks over a bench and the flowers tremble. A call from Serena interrupts his fury. "WOT?!" Serena snaps Eric knows, he saw their picture,and it is all his fault. He snaps it is her fault for fooling the ex priest like a sweet girl when nothing could be further from the truth... Ben laments that the girl he loves is hiding something from him. Clyde suspects Chad. Ben dismisses it until Clyde drops a bombshell ... Chad and Abigail are entwined ...Clyde informs Ben that Chad likely ordered the attempted hatchet job on him after he and Stefano secretly bought Sonix magazine. Ben is shocked. Clyde repeats to never trust a DiMera ... Chad kisses Abigail's hand and holds her in his arms. They continue kissing ... Nicole is nervous at the park. She tells herself she will take off in a few seconds. The mysterious whistle blower emerges with a goofy grin. Tis Dan, who wanted a meeting ... Ben fumes. Clyde advises him to get engaged. Ben grimaces she would not even move in with him when he asked ... Serena is relieved to see Eric again and assures him she wants to make things right. He exclaims he knows so what was in the elephant compartment???? ... Abigail whispers this was ... Chad drawls perfect and dramatically carries his dream girl to his bedroom ... Eric is angry and upset Serena only came to Salem to get what was in his elephant statue. She insists she loves him. He demands she come clean about the contents of the elephant for he now knows that is the secret she and Zander have been hiding ... Dan demands Nicole enlighten him on what she is up to with suspicious Zander. He knows she is snooping. She needs a few days. Too long. Nicole caves, agreeing to come clean tomorrow. Dan drawls he loves her. They kiss in bliss as Zander glares at them from behind the bushes... Serena feigns innocence. Eric accuses her of using him and storms out again. Serena is crushed ... Ben snaps he is not going to let Chad take Abigail from him. Clyde fuels him on ... Too late! Chad tenderly places the fair Abigail on his bed and they kiss, bathed in the blue shadows of their lives ... THE END Ahead on Days: Someone changes their mind in the morning! Will and Sonny call a truce. John and Paul enjoy their face time. |
