There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At their quiet pub table, diva Kate complains continually to Will that whilst in Chicago, no one properly filled her in. Will reminds her this drama is about GABI not her! Blue leather Kate laments he is right and she is ever so sorry about poor Gabi, whose entire world has been utterly shattered. Will points out the only little person presently on Gabi's mind is baby Ari. Kate is sympathetic. It moves her that as per Will, Gabi did not expose the Salem 3 so she and Sami are safe. - Abigail informs friend Gabi that she is still her friend even though she shot Nick. She is simply seeking to understand and show her support. Gabi denies ever being a true friend. Abigail is confused. Gabi sighs she hired Andrew the stalker and Abigail was spot on to suspect her back then! T'was a ploy to get closer to protective Chad DiMera. It seemed to work but then Andrew the loon went rogue and abducted Mel. She did not order him to do that, though she did know about it ... She frowns she betrayed both her and Mel and is therefore not her friend. Abigail stares in horror ... - At the Wilson apartment, Ben denies being in Florida. Paige suggests she saw him serving at the diner off the Dixie highway. Ben soap stares. JJ plops down by his girl. He jokes he must have a long lost twin like a ... Sonny notes it is called a doppelganger. Some say we all have a double. Still Ben denies it. - Dan sits down at his apartment with a sigh. He will soon get in touch with Nicole ... Frantic knocking leads him to the front door. There stands Eric, who looks like holy hell. He gasps he is sorry he did not call and asks about the Chyka papers. Dan gasps they are what he was hoping for. He is sorry. Eric does not want to discuss Nicole, only the Chyka papers. He adds he too is sorry and praises Dan as the perfect pal. He regrets how he acted at the square. Dan declares Nicole duped them both. No apology needed. Now the truth shall set Eric free! Disheveled Eric agrees at least now he knows it all. He is grateful Dan found out. - Jen has just found out from Maxine on the phone that Dan is home! She is on her way and throws open her front door to depart. Nicole looms in her doorway blocking her path, refusing to move! Jen patiently points out she must speak with Daniel about Rafe and what is happening with Gabi. Nicole steps inside regardless and screams she hates and will never forgive her. This was not her business! She played God and only ruined everything for her and Eric! Jen righteously retorts she caused her own chaos. Eric the good deserved to know the truth! Nicole notes he was the love of her life and blames Jen for totally destroying him, whereas Kristen's destruction was only partial. Jen exclaims Eric needed the truth to save his good name and Nicole lied. He was tormented the whole time and yet she withheld the proof. Nicole lies she planned to tell him. Jen quips BULL and haughtily credits herself with enlightening him. Nicole never would have! She hisses she knows she tried to drag him far from Salem to get married, making it too late for him to be a priest. Nicole claims Dan was going to tell Eric everything if not her so she would have had no choice but to come clean, on her own time. She assumes Jen knows all about it. Jen suddenly blurts out she knows no such thing! - Bitter Bev meets up with cash strapped Cole at the town gate. He has slept at a shelter and needs money. She has the cash but he will have to do a job for her. She trash talks Paige, who is now with JJ. Cole is irate that JJ got his hooks into the pretty girl. Bitter Bev instructs him to sneak some joints in her purse. She can do the rest on her own. Cole considers. Bev the wealthy one promises to be his endless ATM. This time he gets half now, half after the job has been done. Cole is confused about the logistics. Brainy beechy Bev knows just what to do to set her mischief in motion ... - JJ and Paige let Sonny know they are here for him and he is grateful for it. JJ remains an enthusiastic future babysitter. Paige primly apologizes to Ben about the face mix-up. He grins no prob as the happy couple exit. Once they get outside room 14, JJ reads his text from Bev, who wants to meet. He does not intend to go alone .... - Abigail stammers that what happened to Mel ... Gabi cries she deserved to pay for that and if she had, then this latest disaster would never have happened. Abigail seems even more shocked when she finds out Nick was blackmailing her with it. Does Mel know? Gabi gasps she found out before moving out of the country. Abigail is aghast she had no idea but before they can further discuss, the prisoner gets hauled off to court. Abigail sits down and sobs her heart out. - At the square, smiling sneaky Bev approaches JJ and Paige and praises their togetherness. She claims to want to explain about the lab report. JJ thinks it was already cleared up. Bev acts glad Paige believes her and now hopes JJ will help her with her physics final. She implores him to help her get into Salem U. JJ will spare an hour. Pretty Paige agrees to meet him at the club after. Bev sends Cole a text with an update ... - Kate thinks the baby will survive without her mother. Will insists he and Sonny are going to see to it. But still his daughter will know her mother is languishing in prison. People will talk ... Kate hushes him. - Paige runs into a pal at the club, who is back from a Princeton trip. The gals sit and Page gushes she is waiting for JJ. Cole glances over from his own table, a loser pretty much unnoticed. The girls gush and giggle. Cole the lurker walks by and purposely spills his coffee on Page, who excuses herself to the ladies room. Cole suggests the pal help her upset friend and so she does. He bites his lip and checks out the handbag on the table, which is now within his reach. - Sonny bounces the baby on his knee and notes the strangeness of Paige thinking Ben was some boy from Florida. Ben makes light of it. Will gets home a tad glum about Gabi. He assumes the arrival of Abigail improved her spirits. They will somehow all get through this trying time. Ben thinks the baby is lucky to have them both and goes on his way. The baby is now fussed over by her double dads. - Eric thanks Dan. Perhaps one day they can discuss Nicole, though not just yet. The wounds are too raw, it seems. Dan suggests the fallen father head home and take as much time as he needs with those papers. He is admittedly relieved Nicole came clean. Pause. Eric murmurs it was not her who told him. Dan soap stares. - Nicole argues Dan was forcing her hand. Jen argues that Nicole, being Nicole, would never have told Eric the truth and she had tons of chances. Why, this is typical of her! She twists thing and makes Dan the good man lie for her. He cares about the truth and he cares about her a lot too! Nicole now gets it. OH MY GOD! She exclaims Jen is jealous of them! - Ben gingerly approaches working girl Abigail at the hospital. He heard the news and wished to check up on her. She is grateful. He realizes it must be painful to deal with the fact that her good friend killed her cousin. Abigail sadly sighs as it turned out, she was never her friend ... - Gabi is stunned to have Kate as her latest visitor. She is not someone she had been expecting to see again. Kate dramatically declares she is not sorry she killed Nick. However, she is sorry she got caught! The two women of action lock eyes in mutual understanding. - At the town square, flanked by flowers and goodness, gullible JJ has been helping Bev with her physics. She cheerfully thanks him and muses soon they will be freshmen, though Paige will be far away ... She claims to have heard gossip about Paige being a party girl. JJ gets miffed and decides they are done. - Cole slowly and clumsily opens Paige's purse to plant the pair of joints. Paige stops him and demands to know what he is up to. Cole hides the joints behind his back. - Dan is baffled, then flabbergasted when Eric announces the truth teller was none other than Jennifer! Dan gasps but how? Eric advises him to ask her and takes his leave with the Chyka file. - Nicole suspects Jen never got over how close she and Dan once were. The girl in the blonde ponytail accuses her of twisting again. But the truth is that she made her own bed so there! Nicole grabs her purse and waltzes out. - Ben asks anxious Abigail what is troubling her. Is it something more than Nick's murder? She cries she visited Gabi her bff to listen to her side of the story, only to discover their entire friendship was nothing but a lie! She never really knew her! Ben blinks. - Gabi sits with Kate and updates her. The judge agreed with almost all of EJ's requests. The sentencing hearing is to be held soon. There were extenuating circumstances. Kate wonders what those were. She assures Kate not to worry, that fateful night down at the roaring river will stay a secret forever. Kate emotionally thanks her. Gabi blames herself. Kate cries she understands and it is not her fault. Mothers will do what they must to protect their offspring, murder included! They both break down in tears. - Eric the fallen father goes through the Chyka file all alone in the dark park and covers his face with a hand, unable to stop his tragic tears ... - Dan places a call to Jen. She breathes hi, still at Horton house. He breathes they have to talk. She invites him over. He is on his way. - Nicole returns home to her empty room and considers her next move. She notices the luggage on her bed and sends it flying in a fit, sobbing this cannot be real. It is not going to happen. - Cole has slipped the joints into his back pocket and lies he was looking for tissues. He felt terrible about the mess he made. Paige accuses him of trying to get his hands on her phone and spilling the coffee as part of his plan. Enter the JJ. Petulant Paige tells him what happened. JJ loses his cool. He follows the fiend outside and shoves him up against the wall just as Cole proceeds to text boss lady Bev ... - Kate assures Gabi that Wilson will be good parents and give her baby a good life. Gabi cries she knows it. Kate emotionally promises to tell her daughter just how much her mommy loves her. When she is older, she will tell her everything, that her mama sacrificed it all to keep her safe. Gabi cries thank you and they share one final embrace. - Will has placed the baby in her pink crib. He thinks Gabi is strong and yet ... Sonny hands him a much needed glass of red wine. They decide to make this work for Arianna. Sonny agrees they will give her a great life. Will insists they take her to visit mommy every week. Sonny is all for it. They are committed to doing this right. All of a sudden, baby Arianna gurgles DADA for the very first time. Will and Sonny reply DADDY'S HERE in unison, then look at each other The solid couple kiss and stand up to admire the bundle of joy in her crib ... - Cole and JJ proceed to pound each other to a pulp. JJ gets thrown against the wall as Paige screams and he falls down in pain, holding his back. It does not look good ... - Ding dong! Jen throws open her front door, hoping for Daniel, but Eric stands there instead. She hugs the disheveled holy one and sighs she is sorry. - Meanwhile, Dan the solid medicine man opens his own door to Nicole, who slaps him and tries to attack like a she devil. He grabs her wrists and she whimpers like a wounded animal ... THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Eric asks one thing of Nicole. Julie loses it. |
