Kate smugly introduces Leo to his new lawyer. Theodore the slick suit with an accent is aware they set up Sonny! Leo is tense as Kate smiles they are taking down Sonny and Titan. At the square café Justin gives Sonny a pep talk at a table about winning ... Brady gushes to fiancée Eve on the phone. He will see her as soon as ... He now goes into the living room where Victor and Maggie are seated on the white sofa. Victor offers him Sonny’s job as CEO. Brady declares he is done with both Titan and his grandfather ... JJ sits at a pub table with Theresa, who complains about Brady being with Eve ... Ciara accuses Tripp and Claire of sleeping together based on their lack of clothing and proximity at the loft ... Victor defends himself to Brady and stands by his decision. Brady asks if that included keeping the secret about Chloe. Maggie is horrified to hear Mateo was holding Chloe hostage in Mexico. Theresa, however, got away. Both Brady and Maggie are appalled Theresa just left Chloe. The redhead realizes Victor knew and did nothing. Brady adds but Chloe is alright no thanks to Theresa or Victor ... JJ refers to Theresa’s past actions. Theresa thinks that is unfair and sobs she left Salem to save her family ... Leo points out the seedy lawyer could expose them but Kate is confident cos he loves the color of money. He prepares Leo that he will do most of the talking tonight and flirts with Kate. She promises to wait for his good news ... Sonny complains to Justin about Leo’s lies. He wants his reputation and his job back! Justin thinks he can prove Leo is a con artist. Sonny worries the scandal will bring down Titan but Justin declares they will win. Leo arrives with his slick lawyer ... Tripp and Claire get dressed and try to explain to Ciara they did not sleep together. Claire claims Tripp stopped. Tripp adds cos he cares about Ciara. But Ciara does not believe either of them and blasts Claire. Tripp tells her he was talking to Claire cos she had broken up with him. Ciara sadly states she wanted to explain and give him another chance. Tripp would like to hear more. Ciara sighs now they are done for good ... Theresa tells JJ about being Mateo’s slave for a year. He wonders how she kept going. She weeps she would imagine the day she was back with Brady and Tate. It was almost perfect until Chloe showed up pointing the finger. JJ reminds her she did leave her behind. Theresa sighs Brady thinks she is selfish. On the contrary. JJ praises her for being selfless ... Victor updates Maggie and Brady on Mateo’s threats. Victor's only goal was to get Theresa home safely to Brady and Tate. Brady taunts he has decided to wed Eve and he and Theresa are done ... The lawyers are ready for the informal meeting with Sonny and Leo at the square cafe. Justin questions Leo’s so-called facts, starting with the dating app where they really met. Leo denies any app. Sonny gets out his phone to find Leo’s profile on the app. Alas it no longer exists. Leo calls online dating creepy. He adds he was a Titan temp who met Sonny at work. Sonny took him for dinner to talk opportunity but then pressed him for more. Justin argues no evidence even exists of any harassment. Kate’s handsome lawyer smiles and opens his briefcase. Sonny is surprised ... Back at the pub Theresa pouts about Brady. JJ senses he was just hurt and would not keep her from Tate as he threatened. She feels a bit better but is bitter about Eve, who is all wrong for Brady ... Victor growls at Brady for going after Eve and wants him to focus on work. The time is now for him to head up the family. Brady states it is his turn to toss Victor aside ... The bogus texts Leo sent from Sonny’s phone are now shown as evidence. Sonny denies writing them and remembers the day he lost his phone which Leo found. He talks setup but the lawyer has more - like pics of when Leo changed his shirt and they made out at the office. Sonny looks at somber Justin and sighs. Leo innocently stares into space ... Claire suspects Ciara dumped Tripp cos of Bella. She notes that is not true so Tripp presses. Why did she push him away?? Claire stops him and tenderly tells Ciara to tell him. Ciara now admits she ended their relationship as she was raped. Tripp is stunned into silence. Claire blinks back the tears. Ciara now looks like she feels as humiliated as she is haunted ... Theresa asks JJ why he is being so nice. JJ the sage states he is not one who is in a position to judge anyone. Theresa is without funds for a hotel so JJ invites her to stay at his place ... Brady refuses to be enamoured of Victor dangling the CEO job. He notes he already threw Sonny under the bus. The redhead reminds Victor this is his family. Victor wants a powerful Kiriakis clan. Brady warns him he is moving out with Tate tomorrow ... Sonny scoffs the hidden camera proves Leo set him up. Leo lies he had no choice after all the harassment. His lawyer paints a picture of Sonny as a predator trying to take advantage of the vulnerable and now questions Justin’s confidence ... Tripp asks who and when. Ciara weeps it was her stepbrother Chase two years ago. He wishes she had told him. She weeps she could not bear to be perceived as damaged goods. Tripp insists that is not true. She fumes she hates them both and takes off before they are able to stop her ... Victor warns Brady he will regret this! Brady distrusts and dislikes him. He shall make Eve his wife and he is leaving. The Greek growls at him not to go. Maggie wonders whether even she can trust her husband anymore. She is furious he did not help Chloe, who is her family. She walks out ... Leo’s lawyer shows Justin the number they need to make the case go away. Justin refuses and then holds Sonny back. Leo leers he will make him pay. He and the sleaze lawyer will see him in court ... Claire swears to Tripp she knew not that the past had come between him and Ciara. She blames herself for kissing him and is glad he stopped what almost happened between them. Tripp calls Ciara to make things right. She ignores his call and gets on her bike, now feeling born to be wild ... Brady orders the rest of his stuff in storage and ends a call. The movers are busy tonight so he is taking Tate to the Salem Inn. Then he will find something permanent. Maggie is so sorry. Brady is upbeat about being with Eve, the woman he loves. Maggie warns Theresa will not easily give up. Brady notes nothing will change his mind ... JJ warns Theresa he only has a small studio apartment. She hugs him in thanks and he assures her he will take the floor she can have the bed. She giggles. She is determined to make Brady see she is his right woman ... The slick lawyer updates elegant Kate at the square and seductively asks her out for a drink. She states they cannot be seen together so he suavely suggests something more private in the future and squeezes her hand ... Sonny asks how it looks so far. Justin sighs not so good cos they will have a hell of a time convincing a jury he is innocent ... Tripp cannot reach Ciara on her cell and he is worried ... Ciara lies unconscious on the road near her motorcycle, a gash on her face. But she will not be alone for long on this misty Salem night ... STAY TUNED! |
