At the loft Tripp pulls away from Claire but she reminds him they are both free agents ... Ciara is at the hospital to see Marlena. Kayla offers to leave her a message. Ciara starts to leave so Kayla asks her about the dinner date. Ciara cries. Kayla consoles her ... At the pub Hope leaves Marlena a message about Ciara needing to speak with her about the Chase history. She ends the call and JJ asks if she is alright. Hope complains about ex-cons coming to Salem, starting with Xander and now big Ben! JJ cannot believe he might be released ... Eve runs into jogging shirtless Xander at the square. He flirts and she smugly states she might not be single ... Back at Kiriakis mansion Brady kicks Theresa out! She turns and tells him she will take Tate. Brady refuses and refers to her history. She laments she was a good mother leaving him and Tate safe but Brady is appalled she set up John and Paul with Mateo and abandoned Chloe. He notes Tate knows her little anyway. She cries and begs for his trust again, blaming Xander for not taking Chloe. She looooooooves him and always has this whole time. He coldly keeps her at bay ... Xander sighs Eve is sad to think Brady will have her back. She updates him on Chloe coming back with the full story and suggests he not get too comfortable at the mansion. She threatens to make him regret returning as much as her little sister if he tries to make a move at Titan ... Brady blasts Theresa and remembers how she attacked John and blamed him once upon a time. Tate was the result of their partying one night. He accuses her of using the lad, first to get rid of Melanie. She screams she was true to him but he went with Nicole then Eve! She thinks he really wants her cos Eve is the old school version of the girl she is. There is but one Theresa ... Claire gets upset about Tripp mentioning Ciara and snaps people always compare them. Ciara has never been on her side and always goes after the guys she likes like Theo. Claire pouts she turned Tripp and the other suitors down so she could be with Theo. She suggests they not be alone ... Ciara dabs at her eyes with a Kleenex in Kayla’s office. She starts to tell the sad tale of her date night with Tripp. Flashbacks of Chase made their kiss finish fast. It frightened her. But then she told Tripp she was sorry she took off. It happened again so she dumped him. Kayla thinks she should confide in him. Ciara would rather not appear weak and assumes she will never recover ... JJ lists all of Ben’s transgressions. Hope explains re-enacting Will’s murder was what supposedly changed him. JJ gasps but he killed Serena and Paige and would kill again! Plus Abigail is mentally unwell because of Ben so she will never get better if he gets out ... Eli escorts Lani to the pub since she is having a clam chowder craving. JJ turns and looks at the pair. Lani soap stares ... Theresa accuses Eve of playing games and competing. Brady snaps Theresa just hates that she could not spin Chloe’s story. She uses the Tate card so he counters with details now only Eve knows about their son. She calls herself a good mother. Brady blasts her for using him and putting her needs ahead of their son. She screams she sacrificed so much. Brady argues Mateo could have followed her from Mexico! Theresa tells him she asked Victor to rescue Chloe. Brady tells her she should have come to him but that was not convenient to her. Theresa sobs about the threats and the horror she endured. Besides everyone is alright sooo ... Hope sighs to Eli and Lani that Ben could be released sooner rather than later. Lani remembers the midwife he murdered as does JJ ... Eve taunts Xander that Theresa threw him under the bus to Brady. He insists Theresa was the one who wanted his help ... Brady accuses Theresa of not even asking Victor to help Chloe. He adds he had decided to stay with Eve, the woman who now has his heart. Theresa lets out a whimper ... Lani changes her mind about the chowder and leaves with Eli. Hope feels sorry for JJ, who whispers he is alright. She can sense he still cares. She wonders whether they might be able to work it out ... Kayla assures Ciara she shall overcome and be with the right guy one day. She now tells her she had her own metoo moment. It has happened to one in five women! But there are good guys out there. She urges her to open up about what happened and know she did nothing wrong. Ciara sighs she hates Tripp touching her at the moment. She thinks they were rebounding anyway. Meanwhile Claire tells Tripp they are too young not to enjoy life. Ciara was a fool to let him go. They passionately kiss and end up on the living room couch. The clothes come off fast ... JJ insists to Hope that he and Lani are over. She reminds him love can conquer all and refers to trying to forgive Rafe. She likens her scenario to his with Lani’s. But JJ believes a baby changes everything ... Xander asks why Eve stepped aside. For Tate’s sake but she realizes she was wrong. Xander warns her that girl will not give up and advises her to turn and walk away. He then does just that ... Brady deduces Tate is better off with no mom than a bad one like Theresa! She cries about Mateo. He shouts that was her past coming back to haunt her and he has moved on. Theresa knows how he duped Eve and warns she will not go back to him. She dares him to try ... Kayla wishes Ciara could see how much Tripp cares. She does not have to give him up and suggests she confide in him. Ciara sadly states she will still not be ready to sleep with him. Kayla points out he is patient. Ciara promises to consider ... Tripp jumps up from the couch out of breath. He declares he does not want this as nekid Claire gives him a stunned look ... JJ laments not being able to handle that the baby he believed was his is really Eli’s. Hope understands but wants him to be happy. He pauses with his cup of coffee ... Theresa fumes Brady should put Tate first. Brady decides keeping their son at a safe distance from her is putting him very first. She warns him she will always be Tate’s mother and she loves him. He will not be able to get rid of her! She walks out. Brady looks worried ... From her office Kayla reads a text from Ciara, who is on her way to confide in Tripp... Tripp tells Claire this does not feel right but Ciara only sees them nekid on the sofa together when she walks in. She assumes the worst ... Brady summons Eve to the Kiriakis mansion and updates her on Theresa leaving as asked. However it will not be easy to keep her at bay. He was hoping Eve might take him back. Silence. He assumes the worst. She whispers she is here for him. They emotionally kiss. Meanwhile JJ spies unhappy Theresa at the square. They soap stare ... Not far away Hope gets a call she has been dreading. She gasps to Eli and Lani that Ben has been released and is already en route. Salem will never be the same ... STAY TUNED! |
