There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Abigail is at the trendy club, admiring ... Ben growls where did she get that photograph! She teases she took his pic with her phone and photo shopped him with Gabi. He looks good as a model. Ben scowls, then catches himself and compliments her skill. He claims not to care for having his picture taken. Abigail gets a work related call and steps over to the window. Ben turns around and tears up the picture she gave him of himself. He simply cannot risk having his image in circulation ... - At the square, sympathetic Sami must inform Rafe that sister Gabi is under arrest. He and Jordan are stunned into silence. - Hope has summoned Marlena to her office with an update that Gabi confessed to shooting Nick to death. Marlena soap stares. She realizes the implications. Detective Hope thinks the girl needs help and asks her to speak with her as a psychologist. The blonde recalls how Gabi had assured her things were fine with her happy little family. Hope bitterly states so fine she pumped three bullets into Nick! - Gabi sobs to EJ she knows she will languish in prison a long time. EJ intends to argue how dangerous Nick was. Gabi gasps but she only shot him to keep her daughter safe with loved ones. It was not self-defense. She sobs about losing her little girl forever. - Hot-to-trot Brady and Theresa have been drinking, doing coke, and making love on her sofa. She loves their lovemaking. He wants more coke and gets another line ready even though he is as high as a kite. The billionaire heir sits up in his shirtless fervor and Theresa ignores work calling again. Time for some more afternoon delight ... - Eric rages at Nicole for what she did, which was not about love! She insists their love is very real and she can prove it. So she says. Eric looks at her as though he is now void of any feeling for this woman standing before him among the holy statues. She implores him to go away with her. He refuses and accuses her of withholding the information from him. She begs him for a chance and wants to explain. Then she will accept his decision, whatever it is ... - Rafe gets indignant and accuses the cops of trumped-up charges when Sami explains Gabi shot Nick. Sami adds she even confessed. Jordan stands by her man. She is sorry for him. Rafe heads off to the station to get to the bottom of the matter. Sami is terse with Jordan cos they were trying to reach Rafe. - EJ promises to get Gabi access to email and a ... facility that is close enough for eventual visitation. Gabi sobs Ari is still too small to email. EJ gets it and warns even with the videos and communication from Will and Sonny, everything will be monitored. He vows to fight for her but wants clarification on what she intends to say Nick was blackmailing her with. Gabi cries only that she got Andrew to kidnap Mel way back. EJ wonders. She realizes he is wondering whether she will also tell the cops the tale of the roaring river and the Salem Three. After all, EJ has a vested interest in Samantha's welfare. He reminds Gabi that the others could also be at risk should she choose to include them in her story. Gabi weeps they were only trying to keep her out of prison and worries about Percy. EJ assures her that one will pose no problem, and the damning pictures no longer even exist. Maternal Gabi cries that Kate and Sami were trying to help her and her baby. She had assumed she avoided prison when she kept her involvement in Mel's abduction a secret but now this! Knock knock! Tis Detective Hope with Marlena, who is there to speak to the girl as a doctor. Anything said between them will be in the strictest confidence. EJ agrees as long as it is all off the record and exits. Marlena sits and Gabi is eager to talk, through her sobs and tears ... - Nicole has taken Eric back to her room. She opens her suitcase and hands him a photo he took of his first African sunrise. He had presented her with it for helping him overcome. They help one another. That is why he gave her an engagement ring too. They loooooooove one other. Eric grimaces and pulls back his hands as she sighs she loves him more than ever. Silence. Nicole implores him to speak. Eric is not impressed if this is her explanation. She sadly states there is more. The secret she kept is one she would have carried to her grave. Does it not show how much she loves him? Eric’s eyes fill with tears of disappointment. He now sees exactly what her love means. What was she thinking and how did she feel about deceiving him, hiding the truth all those months? She laments it was like hell. She was truly torn and there were times she came close. She now reminds him she wants to share her life with him and claims she wanted to share everything. The secret would have tormented her her whole life. He gasps then she is lucky, for the torment is over! - Brady and Theresa come up for air from ... the floor, clad only in the blanket they are wearing. It is shades of brown, however, not gray. Unshaven Brady grins in his stupor. Theresa suggests they go out for food. She will shower first. She wants him to come with but Brady grins to go ahead. And so she does. Brady sniffles and reaches for more coke. He suddenly stops and sighs. - Sami lectures Jordan for convincing a cop to turn off his phone for a long time. Jordan is pleasant but lets Sami know it was Rafe's decision. Sami quips she knows him well as they used to be married and she has known Rafe longer! It is big for him to be a brother to Gabi. Jordan thinks this is not the time or the place and walks off. Sami is incensed. - Abigail wonders where Sonny is. Ben only knows he called he could not come in to the club today. They discuss who might have shot Nick. Abigail assumes it could be someone known to them as Nick clearly knew his killer. Has Ben heard anything more from the cops? Negative. She woefully wonders what is happening. Ben brings up her modeling days and admits he founds her hot pics online. She was beautiful then and even more beautiful now. Abigail blushes and gushes. Jordan arrives and observes the cuteness, though she is not smiling. - At the station, EJ and Hope are discussing Gabi's preliminary sentencing when cowboy Rafe bursts in. He is disgusted to discover that EJ is his sister's attorney and suggests he talked her into confessing! Hope stands between them and explains to raging Rafe that Gabi confessed on her own. EJ stepped up to represent her. Sami slips into the room. Hope explains EJ was the one who talked his sister into accepting a lawyer. Rafe reasons she must have been railroaded. Hope requests privacy. Exit EJ and Sami. She quietly asks if Gabi revealed anything about ... EJ assures her their secret is safe. Sami breathes a sigh of relief. - Gabi cries to Marlena how much Nick loved her and wanted to protect her. But everything changed when she became pregnant with Will's baby. Nick became crazy controlling, then complained about his prison horror and promised to change. Marlena realizes he never did change. Gabi confirms it and cries about Nick trying to take her and the baby to New York. The night she turned him down, he went ballistic. Marlena asks for details. Gabi pauses and flashes back to Sami insisting she keep their secret forever ... Back to reality. Gabi gasps she cannot say! Marlena assures her their conversation is in confidence, not monitored by the police, and promises to keep this between them. Gabi nods, relieved to have the chance to unburden her soul. And so she does, telling the tale of hitting Nick with the rock on his crazy head down by the river. That was when Kate and then Sami showed up. Marlena blinks in bewilderment. - Hope updates Rafe with all the proof that Gabi did kill Nick as claimed. He recoils in horror. - Eric turns away from Nicole with hatred and hurt in his eyes. She begs him to say something. He warns her he has one FINAL thing to say! - At the town square café, Theresa is eating with her fingers, acting like a spoiled girlfriend. Brady is bored and starts to say he does not think ... She coos he is coming down and needs more. Brady begs to differ. All of a sudden, casual John shows up and peers at the pair. Brady angrily decides to get that fix after all. Theresa slips it to him. He heads to the men's room for another line of angel dust. John takes a seat opposite Theresa the terrible, drawling the time has come for them to have a chat about his boy ... - Jordan greets Abigail and bartending Ben. He gets the coffee. She primly thanks him, and goes to a table. Abigail announces she has to attend to that work thing. Ben teases more modeling? She teases she would consider if he was at her side for the photo shoot and departs with a smile and a spring in her step. Brother Ben approaches his sister's table and asks what is the matter ... - Marlena is stunned that Sami was there too! Gabi cries she said there was no pulse so he was dead and Kate wanted them to dispose of the body. They dragged him to the river together and dropped him in but his eyes flew open. Marlena calmly takes it all in, keeping her composure. Gabi continues. Nick grabbed Sami's arm and she pulled away, then he was swept away by the icy roaring river. Marlena realizes the three assumed he was dead at that point. - Eric demands to know where the evidence is and decides to depart when he learns it is with Dan. He is done here! Nicole tries in vain to stop him. Eric rages at her for doing nothing and robbing him of his holy choice, It was HIS to make, not hers! - John refers to the ale on the table and accuses Theresa the terrible and Brady of boozing it up during the day. She suggests it is not his business. Wrong! His son is always gonna be his business! - Gabi cries she shot Nick and he saw her do it too. Marlena slowly shakes her head. Gabi admits fearing he would not die when he followed her back to the square. When he did die, there was peace and love in the world. Kate loves Will. Sami loves Ari. Gabi loves Sonny. They can all love one another in their family and most importantly, love the baby. Nick was not capable of love. Marlena is not sure how to respond. Knock knock! Hope opens the door and Rafe takes a few steps toward his sobbing sister, silently hugging her, She cries on his shoulder like a lost child. - Ben cannot believe that Gabi was the one who killed Nick. Abigail will be upset her friend did it! Jordan sighs she could not bring herself to tell her. Meanwhile outside, fatigued EJ runs into Abigail and announces the murder of Nick Fallon has officially been solved! Now he has her full attention ... - Hope asks Marlena for her assessment. Marlena explains the girl felt she was cornered and had no choice. Sami nervously listens. Marlena stops short of calling Gabi insane. Hope thanks her and walks off. Sami steps up and acts sympathetic. Marlena gives her a strange look. Sami anxiously asks just what Gabi told her in that room! - Brady the cowboy saunters back to the table, spaced out. He laughs at judgmental John to get lost. But papa John refuses to stand idly by and watch him self-destruct. They stare each other down. Brady threatens to move him if he does not move on. John exclaims to cut it out. Brady hauls off and punches his papa. John groans and tries to hold his high, attacking son at bay. Theresa is amused in her own silly stupor. - Jordan is admittedly relieved that Gabi killed Nick and Ben realizes she actually suspected HIM. - Wide-eyed Abigail wonders who. EJ is not at liberty to name his client, though he promises he is telling the truth. The correct culprit is now in custody. He walks off and Abigail gets a text that shocks her to the core ... - Gabi cries and apologizes for letting Rafe down. He continues to hug his sister in silence. - Marlena accusingly explains Sami knows very well that she cannot repeat anything Gabi told her in confidence. Sami gasps in horror that she knows! She knows what she did! Marlena coldly asks if there is anything she wants to tell her. Sami decides she does not and Marlena goes on her elegant way. So many words left unspoken. For now ... - Nicole begs Eric not to leave her. Naturally he does, along with his bag and a huff. She cries she cannot looooose him, then crouches down to collect the fallen, now broken framed picture. Eric has left the building. Nicole wails like a broken woman ...
