There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - At the town square, glamour girl Kate has a call from her well paid private investigator Ortiz, who states he has a real lead regarding Jordan. This time it is solid! - In the park, woeful Jordan awaits brother Ben. He arrives and assumes she is disheartened about Rafe. She gasps he demanded the whole truth from her or no relationship! - The group leader intends to begin the AA meeting with a moment of silence for those sorry souls who still suffer. Brady ignores his buzzing phone. He looks bored. - At the pub, Theresa grows impatient for Brady the no show. She tries to convince herself they will make it to the altar one day. Anne advises her not to count on it. Brady is not about to marry a girl like her despite the designer purse. Theresa appears hurt. - At the club, Page wishes the Frankie guy was ancient history. JJ states Jen talked about that girl who wanted to break them up. Paige becomes petulant he is making her sound bad! JJ did not mean to. Paige gets shrill about her mother’s sacrifices. If she is that girl, JJ only knows one side of the story! They continue to bicker and Rory and bemused Bev arrive. Rory wants to tape the spat of the suddenly not so perfect couple. - At Horton house, devil with the blues dress Eve has the floor. This matter concerns Jack. Jen points out he passed away two years ago. Eve is sorry and explains she is here to discuss his writing, his words that live on! Jen is baffled. Eve is greedy. She practically drools as she mentions the memoir of Afghanistan. And a best seller at that! She reminds Jen she and Jack were married once upon a time, brief as it may have been. Jen hisses it was meaningless and annulled but Eve has a bombshell she is just itching to drop ... - Rafe the casual bronzed jogger meets Abe outside at a secluded spot with an envelope. Abe is grateful and informs him that EJ invited him to perform the wedding ceremony for him and Sami. Rafe sighs just yesterday it was him and Sami. Abe thinks he and Jordan make a fine couple now. - Jordan and Ben sit on a bench among the park flowers as she laments this is an all or nothing situation. Ben blames himself. He feels bad about showing up in town, which was when the trouble started. He suggests she tell Rafe the truth. She stares at him in disbelief. - At the house of Kiriakis, elegant Maggie is delighted. She leaves Brady a cheerful message of encouragement, proud he attended the meeting tonight. She is here for him! John appears and drawls he hopes his boy is getting the help he needs at long last. He emotionally clasps Maggie's hand in gratitude. - The AA leader warns the group members to remove all bad influences from their lives, focus only on recovery. Brady soap stares. - Anne advises Theresa not to expect much. The billionaire heir has no assets of his own and he works for his grandfather. She warns the girl that Brady also sees her as a party girl. Theresa looks ready to cry. - Abe senses a problem. Rafe sighs things are complicated for him and Jordan at present. Abe hopes it is not because Sami and EJ are getting married ... - Ortiz made it to the Ozarks and showed Ben’s picture around. Some folks around here have seen him before. He will have more to report soon. Kate cannot wait! - Bev is admittedly smug there is trouble in paradise. Rory boasts they were house party hopping together. He invites dude to join them. They are more fun than the glee club girl! The glee club girl pouts. - Jen and Eve embark on an extremely unpleasant trip down memory lane. Jen sternly reminds her that Jack only married her to help her inherit the money pimp Nick Corelli had left her in his will. And Jack’s reason was to get the amount he was promised so he could save the Spectator newspaper. Eve tells Jen not to forget that she had already left Jack for Frankie. Then Jack got back with Jen and she ended up with Frankie. She left Jack with all that money. Jen argues it was part of Jack's settlement and is gone. Eve brings up their annulment agreement. He signed over half his future writing project rights to her so she is due! Jen gasps what? Eve whips out a copy of said agreement. Jen reads it and almost weeps. - John drawls he dropped by to see Vic. He is hopeful his boy will be saved. - Theresa gets upset. Anne points out her reputation precedes her. Theresa curses Dan and Jen. Anne advises to cut her losses. She got her designer purse and her fun times but she does not love Brady anyway. Theresa's eyes cloud over with sorrow. She claims she will just keep it going to squeeze more out of her billionaire heir. - Rafe drawls he harbors no romantic feelings for Sami, just concern. Abe teases how in love Rafe looked when he saw Jordan in her dress at Will and Sonny's wedding. He wishes him well. Rafe wistfully sighs, missing Jordan more by the minute. - Jordan insists it would jeopardize Rafe to know her secret. Ben warns she could lose him over this. She admits she loves him dearly and therefore cannot drag him down with her drama. Now she is protecting both brother Ben and Rafe! Exit Jordan. - JJ tells the former friends he would prefer to remain at the club with his girl. Ben and Rory take off, miffed. JJ insists he would rather be with Paige. She teases even though they were ... debating? The teens decide on a truce. Their mom’s problems happened a loooooong time ago. JJ grins and suggests they might even be drinking and remembering the old days as they speak. If only he knew ... - Eve is elated that Jack wrote something of worth, even to a movie studio! Jen patiently explains the late Jack wanted all profits to go solely to military veterans. They cannot take it away. Eve gushes she loves a man in uniform and even donates to the cause. Jen is free to donate her own half but not hers. She has an iron clad contract and Jen can contact her lawyer. Jen screams she will do that and gets upset Eve actually thinks she is entitled. She calls her the same old conniving witch! - Brady peers at his phone as he emerges from the AA meeting. The group leader shakes his hand and hopes he will attend again. Brady is not sure as he felt ... uninspired. The leader urges him to try one more time. Bored Brady mutters he will and now realizes he has two messages. One from Theresa and one from Maggie. Decisions decisions! - Bored Theresa throws darts at the pub and then drinks another cocktail. John saunters in. The lonely girl thinks he is smug Brady stood her up and says so. - Jordan stands at the town square, remembering once upon a romantic night, when she and Rafe danced under the stars ... Kate comes up behind her and asks if she spoke to Rafe. Jordan wants her to butt out of their business. Kate wants her to talk to him but Jordan snaps she did and made everything even worse! - Ben stops Rafe as he jogs by. His sister is sad. Rafe knows. Ben urges him to trust in her. Rafe thinks she does not trust him. Ben explains her reasoning. She wants to protect them both - Rafe and also her brother! - Eve remains bitter that Jen got all the boys and came from the happy Horton clan, whereas her dreams were dashed by the tender age of 14. Jen reminds her she had choices. Eve roars she chose to fight and she still is fighting! She accuses Jen of withholding what is rightfully hers. The fight is on! Jen threatens to fight back and win, in the name of Jack! Eve insists she needs the money. Jen thinks these papers are not legit. Eve muses her Jack was a tad shady. Jen screams she will not let her prevail! Pause. There stand JJ and Paige. Jen blinks. - Macho Rafe needs no protecting! Ben knows, but Jordan tends to put herself last when it comes to loved ones. He implores him to be patient. His sister is worth it. Then he walks back to work. Rafe gets to thinking. - Kate claims to be surprised that Jordan and Rafe could not reconcile. Rafe needs her help now more than ever! Jordan’s phone rings and she hastily excuses herself ... - John came not to gloat, but to get the credit card he left behind. He drawls his son is busy trying to fix his life anyway. Theresa accuses him of getting Brady to go to an AA meeting and conspiring to break them up. John growls Brady is finally going to see her for the selfish troublemaker she is! Enter belligerent Brady. He snaps at his father to leave her alone! Theresa pouts like an innocent kitten. Cowboy Brady stands by his girl and glares at his dad with defiance .... - Eve sweetly reminds her daughter they will all see each other at graduation. Tomorrow is the big day! She ushers Paige out fast and JJ demands his mom enlighten him. What was going on?! - John sighs he was just explaining ...Brady blasts him for his interference yet again. He is not running his life! Theresa pretends to support Brady attending AA meetings. Brady is mad Maggie told his da, decides said meeting was a waste of his precious time, and leads his girl out of the pub by the hand, ignoring his father's desperate pleas to stop. - At the club, smiling Maggie asks busy Ben for two bags of Esmeralda special. The coffee bartender in the tight black t-shirt is happy to oblige the wife of Victor Kiriakis and grins he will be back with her order in a jiffy. Just then Kate greets the redhead and makes mention of Victor firing her. She insists EJ and Sami set her up and adds she has moved on. Maggie muses yes, she is reconciling with the dastardly Stefano DiMera! Kate suspects the she will no longer be worried about her being around Victor. The redhead retorts she never was. - Rafe has summoned his Jordy girl to the park and breathes he misses her so much he cannot bear it! - Eve and Paige walk through the sparkling square, enjoying ice cream. Paige would like an explanation about her mom and Jen. Eve explains she was briefly married to JJ’s dad. Page is mortified she made no mention of it before! Eve claims it was brief and it got annulled as they never ... However Jen is bitter, also because Jack left them something that could change their lives ... - JJ gets confirmation that Eve was that girl, the one who was after Frankie. Jen sighs this time the battle concerns money. She will explain everything to Abigail and JJ tomorrow and asks him not to communicate with Paige in the meantime, though she still considers her a lovely girl. - Brady is back to boozing on Theresa the terrible's pink bed. He slurs he haaaaates his dad and blames him for sending his life to hell. He shuts his eyes in his drunken stupor. Theresa says wow, then realizes John could be the key to her plan. She gets to thinking. Or rather scheming .... - Jordan gasps she missed Rafe too. He explains he needs to be smart after what went down with his sisters. She understands. He loves her and could not stand the thought of losing their love. Together they can work things out. She agrees and they kiss in bliss. - Kate sits all alone at the club. Ortiz calls with an update. She needs to get to the Ozarks tonight! Kate agrees to book a flight. Ben serves her coffee and asks if she needs anything else. She purrs he has already been most helpful ... - Jen assures anxious JJ that her issues with Eve will have no effect on his relationship with Paige. She now acts excited about his big graduation day tomorrow and he heads to bed, somewhat relieved. Jen stares at Jack's bestselling book and vows not to let Eve win. She holds the book close to her heart. Jack's face graces the back cover. - Paige wants to know what her mom means. She will explain all soon. In the meantime, she asks her not to talk to JJ tonight, Paige reluctantly agrees. She urges her to give her guy a chance. Eve will but first she wants to know more about this trouble he was in.
