There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - At Horton house, a planned party takes an unexpected turn. Just as Jen is opening her door to Eve, Paige attempts to tell JJ their mothers are already acquainted. Jen is flabbergasted to find her once enemy on her doorstep. Eve, on the other hand, covers well, having an agenda. She makes nice and flashes a big smile. - At the park, EJ solemnly tells Abigail that wot happened at the house can never happen again. People would be suspicious and Samantha could find out about their affair. It would spell the ruin of both of them! He advises her to move on. Abigail babbles about the strain of being Sami's sudden maid of honor so how to move on! He patiently points out the wedding is tomorrow. Abigail is alarmed that Sami is everywhere in her world all of a sudden, acting like her new bff. She now decides EJ was the worst mistake she ever made. EJ suspects she feels that way because of her new chap. She defiantly declares that is right. Why, at least he is honest! She refers to herself as a HOMEWRECKING SLUT, the kind of girl he would leave behind if he found out the truth. - Ben leaves his sister an urgent message, as he is worried about her, and then spies Abigail in the distance with EJ ... - Brady is at the house of Kiriakis obsessing over his coke. He takes his phone, glances at the booze, and then considers ... - Theresa and Anne meet at the pub and Anne accuses her of not taking her job seriously. Theresa sips her cocktail and claims their common bond is hating Jenny. Anne demands she do something! Theresa tells her boss lady she already tried everything exceeeeept ... She notes JJ's new girlfriend just happens to be her niece. Anne cannot help but cackle. Theresa adds the girl is a sweet young thing. Anne laughs even harder. Theresa suggests using the girl to cause conflict for Jenny. She laments unfortunately, her mother Eve is a beeeech. Anne is interested in this beeeech. When Theresa calls herself the good sister. Anne starts to choke. Theresa gets back to the topic of Brady. Anne hopes all is well with Richie rich. Yes, though sometimes there is resistance on his part. Anne questions his interest. Theresa gets her back up. - Statuesque Eve exclaims it has been too loooong. Petite Jen is polite but primly replies she is expecting the mother of her son’s girlfriend any moment sooooooo ...Eve laughs as Paige confirms this is her mom. Eve shouts SURPRISE as Jenny stares in horror. It is her worst nightmare! Eve acts like a friend from the past but Jen knows better. She eyes her with suspicion. JJ takes his girl to the kitchen for a beverage. Eve admits she only found out Jen was JJ's mom when Paige spoke his last name. Jen eyes her. Eve quips nothing has changed. Jen still does not believe anything she says! - Vision in yellow Marlena graciously greets visitor Abe at her office. He is there to discuss Sami’s upcoming wedding tomorrow. Marlena is unable to conceal her shock despite her best efforts at a demure demeanor. - Brady stuffs the coke in his pocket when Maggie enters and explains Victor is out of town. He admits he was hoping not to talk to Victor, but to talk to HER! - Eve notices the deep freeze when Jen excuses herself to check on dinner. Eve tells the teens she feels badly. However, she wanted Jen to learn she was in town from her. Paige gets a bad feeling. Eve admires the house, which has not changed over the years. JJ had no idea she was here before. He wonders whether she also knew Tom and Alice. She explains of course! And they always thought the world of Jen. Jen had many good people who believed in her and enjoyed so many advantages. Eve smiles they can discuss it over dinner. Jen storms back in and states that is not going to be possible. - Theresa insists Brady is all over her all the time, though detoxing is not a good time to be around him. She spies a certain someone she now decides is going to help her, though he does not know it yet! Anne asks what she means. - Brady sits with the redhead on the Kiriakis couch and sighs he wants to be honest. It is ... possible he needs ... help. Maggie smiles in relief. - EJ snaps that is NOT who Abigail is. She sighs she is also a liar. He claims he does not like lying either and warns her meltdowns will merely lead to more questions from Sonny and Will and others. He promises to keep Samantha busy and urges her to chill. She must do this for his sake for both their sakes ... Buff Ben happens along and drawls he did not mean to interrupt. EJ stops him from walking past and grins they were just discussing him! This is news to Ben ... - Jen laments the oven is not working and suggests the kids eat out. It is her treat! She and Eve can stay behind and talk old times. Exit spiffy JJ and the pretty girl in the dreamy white dress. Once they are alone, Jen tells Eve that her daughter is lovely. Eve calls JJ interesting. She pours herself lemonade and points out Paige said he went through a hard time. Jen wonders what she really wants ... - Marlena now learns that EJ invited Abe to the wedding to perform the ceremony. Abe believes that EJ really does love Sami. Marlena shares the same view. However, those two cause each other such pain ... She sighs she is grateful that Abe will be there for Sami and the kids tomorrow. - Ben seems doubtful. It sounded like they were talking about something else. EJ acts like he was discussing the wedding with Abigail, the fact that his fiancée had pushed her into being the maid of honor and a maid of honor needs a date! He charmingly suggests Ben be her escort. Abigail wants him to stop. EJ gives her a knowing look, reminds her just how important this is to Samantha, and walks away. Ben is enthused about being Abigail’s date. He adds he does not trust that guy one bit. Does she? Abigail admits she does not and likens EJ to Chad. They start off charming but with time, one realizes one is not dealing with a straight shooter. Ben does not know anything about the guy but he has a feeling. Abigail notes he had a feeling about Nick and he was right! Ben boasts where he is from one must be a good judge of character. She wonders where he comes from exactly. Ben is momentarily caught off guard. - Still at the pub, John takes a look at his phone. Anne admits to Theresa she has no idea what John could do to help her cause with Brady. Theresa the terrible updates her on their tangled history, the fact that they once shared a woman, which still sets Brady off. She also suspects John is not too smart and will be putty in her hands. Perhaps she is assuming too much ...Theresa slinks on over and says hello. John takes a deep breath and braces himself. - Maggie assures Brady that she will not judge him by what he tells her here today. He confesses he is using coke again and he is starting to lose control ... - JJ and Paige end up at a table at Sonny’s swanky club. The girl in the dreamy white dress notes her date seems concerned. JJ thinks their moms have some kind of strange history. Paige agrees. - Eve acts innocent. Jen brings up Frankie. Eve scoffs that is old news. She and Frankie were a bust anyway. Jen just wants to say ... Eve interrupts, leering he came all the way out of Africa to be with his true love again - Jen! Her eyes are cold and angry. - Marlena runs into EJ at the town square and accusingly tells him how she heard about his wedding tomorrow. EJ sincerely wishes she would come, for Samantha’s sake. Marlena gets miffed when he mentions mending fences. Why should she be the one! - John implores Theresa to listen up. She gets sarcastic about his lectures on why she should leave his son alone. - Maggie wants to know about the drinking too. Brady admits he has succumbed to both. She warns him of the dangers of cross-addiction, how they feed off one another. Now when he drinks, he wants coke and there is no stopping the cycle. She sorrowfully states his whole life is spiraling out of control. He gives her an intense look. She suggests there is a solution ... - Paige admits her mom was not exactly forthcoming, though her and Jen did not sound like friends. Perhaps they were even enemies! - Jen confirms she and Frankie did try again, it is true. Eve bitterly admits she has thought of her often, though she doubts Jen gave her a second thought. Jen assumes her issues are about Frankie. Eve claims she moved past her failed relationships, with Frankie and also Paige’s father, coming out a stronger woman. But she blames Jen for hurting Frankie deeply when she tossed him aside for Jack. Jen thinks she is still smarting but Eve laughs loudly again and denies it. - Ben stammers he comes from ... a small town. You could always distinguish the good guys from the bad guys and EJ is definitely not one of the good guys! He would put his money on it if he had any and he suspects Abigail feels the exact same way. - EJ urges Marlena to attend the wedding for Samantha. He argues he did work tirelessly to get Samantha out of prison, plus he expedited the Wilson wedding. He had assumed that would win him mama Marlena’s support. She appreciates what he did, but still has misgivings about the marriage. EJ implores her to accept him being the man for her daughta. Still, no luck. - John breathes Brady has a substance abuse problem. He suggests Theresa is his enabler and emotionally warns that Brady could die from his reckless behavior. So please leave him alone. Theresa insists he will not die, he is living to the fullest with her! John disagrees and takes his leave. Theresa is not unaffected by his words. - Maggie happily informs Brady of the next AA meeting at the hospital. He has misgivings. She urges him to attend, at least to listen. She can go with him or at least take him there. This is the first step he should take. Brady the wannabe partier points out he has a date tonight. Maggie is not impressed and assumes that would be with Theresa the terrible. Then what?! - JJ thinks his own mom is a good person, though his dad could be sketchy so that could be the wrinkle in their moms’ history. Paige thinks her mom had very few fond memories of Salem and the only guy she remembered from town was someone who does not even live here anymore. Frankie. JJ gasps OH MY GOD! - Eve claims Frankie is old news, just like their rivalry. She adds she is sorry about what happened to Jack. She admires his photo and calls him wonderful;. Jen agrees with that. Eve notes Jen forgave him many times and giggles about the time she told her they had gotten married. The shocked look on her face was priceless! The blurred past is shown, with young Eve flashing her ring in young Jen's face. - Abigail would rather not discuss EJ anymore. After the wedding tomorrow, she is done! Tonight she must shop for a fancy dress. Ben promises to be her date for the wedding. She smiles she will text him the particulars. He tenderly kisses her. She gushes she will see him tomorrow and watches as he walks off into the night with stars in her eyes. - Marlena explains her position. She would be a hypocrite to show her support at EJ and Sami’s wedding, just like Roman feels too. They are one couple who were never good for each other and never will be. Of that she is certain. EJ frowns. Exit the almost mother-in-law. - Theresa returns to her table with Anne. She already has a drink for Brady and assumes he must be on his way. She sends him a text. - Brady is already in the AA meeting when he gets Theresa’s text, wondering where oh where can he be. The meeting gets underway. No one is a new attendee. Brady is bored ... - JJ gasps Paige's mom must be his mom's rival for that guy Frankie! They were just discussing it! He has a terrible feeling that their moms are indeed enemies ... - Jen agrees she and Eve have moved on and should not let the past come between their kids in the present. Eve insists she just wanted to get things out in the open. Jen gasps it is all good. Eve, however, still harbors some reservations about JJ and Paige being together. Jen assumes it is about Frankie again but Eve wants to set the record straight. This is about Jack and the two of THEM! She casts her a wicked glance ...
