There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - At the mansion, elegant visitor Abe assures elegant host EJ that he and Theo will attend the wedding. EJ is elated and now requests a favor. Sami enters as she overhears EJ ask him to perform the ceremony. EJ gushes Samantha would love it and he wants to surprise her. Sami listens and stews, obsessing over his damning photograph with sex kitten Abigail. She whispers to herself that he and his "slut" are in for their own surprise! - Abigail is anxious at the club over her wedding planner duties. She gives T a glum greeting. He teases he is not Ben, who is not there. Abigail denies any romance. T is amused. He is now surprised to learn she is suddenly the wedding planning pal of Sami, Will’s mom. That one usually makes frenemies not friends! Abigail thinks she has changed. T sure hopes she is right cos if she gets on her bad side, there will be hell to pay! - Ben is wearing his trademark tight black t-shirt when he meets woeful Jordan at the park. It bothers Ben that the lines of communication are not open between Rafe and his sister. He insults Rafe. Jordan defends him. Perhaps this is for the best. She was wrong to assume they could ever lead a normal life. HE could find them, just like before! Ben pouts. - Kate joins Rafe at his pub table as he drinks his ale. The diva in the shiny jacket has something on her mind. She wonders whether he and Jordan got back together. He pensively sips his ale. She asks how long he plans to punish himself for what Gabi did. Rafe reasons she felt alone and turned to Nick. Kate waves a finger and insists everyone knew what Nick was all about. Rafe could not have changed a thing! - Jen opens the welcoming Horton front door to Paige, who is all smiles about her mom being in town. JJ is not home yet. The girl starts to tell her about her traveling saleslady mama. She has been staying with cousin Joan but now her mom has finally arrived. The yearbook is open nearby, at the page with Eve’s picture … Jen is happy for Paige that her mom is moving here. She looks forward to meeting her. Paige naively notes they will get along famously. Her mom was a singer and loves music just like JJ. Jen stirs her tea and thinks she sounds intriguing. Paige proudly adds her mom has a zest for life. She thinks her and Jen are similar, both great mothers who would climb any mountain for their kids, plus she is real pretty. Jen asks to see a picture of the famous mother. Paige gets her iphone out. Jen waits. The banshee sound is heard swirling in the background. - Eve asks JJ who he is. He stammers he is here for Paige. She replies she stepped out. Eve now deduces this is JJ and declares she is pleased to meet him. He smiles a slight smile. He is sorry for interrupting. She coos it was no interruption and complains about the broken air con. He offers to fix it. She teases him about big tools and offers lemonade. He assumes she is cousin Joan. Eve is amused. Not even close. She is Paige's mama! JJ gulps. - Sami takes a deep breath, puts on her best plastic smile, and enters the DiMera living room in her geometric dress. She hopes Abe will say yes too! EJ places his arms around his fiancé and seconds the notion. Abe wonders about mama Marlena. Sami sighs neither of her folks might be there. She gives Abe a desperate look and says please. Abraham announces he would be honored. Sami throws her arms around him. - JJ is somewhat surprised Paige’s mother is in town so soon and assumes Page was thrilled. Eve credits him with making her daughter enjoy Salem so far. She bids him sit down and wants to learn all about the mystique of JJ the musician. He admits to playing guitar and comes across like a budding rock and roller. She smiles her daughter says he is special and insists he call her Eve! She now asks him to reveal his FULL NAME. - Ben reminds his sister that the last time HE found them was 2 years ago. But Jordan is worried about Kate, what she might do with what she already has. Ben assures her they have been careful and she will hit a dead end with any of those fake IDs. He notes he managed to handle the girl who believed him to be from Miami. It is best not to run from here. He refuses and insists she give Rafe a chance. - Kate thinks no one would have been able to predict Gabi would shoot Nick. She goes on to suggest that Gabi would be upset to learn what she did was coming between Rafe and his girl. She suggests he not throw away his relationship and leaves him alone to ponder. - Abigail states people do change, just like T did. He grins he is now a sensitive metroesexual. Perhaps she is right about Sami. EJ seems pretty cool these days. Abigail looks down. T suspects she does not like EJ. Abigail flashes back to kissing him. She stammers she is just anxious to get the wedding planning over with is all. - Sami smiles to EJ and Abe that she is now off to wedding plan, with Abigail. They all have high praise for the girl. EJ gives his fiancée a kiss. Eerie music plays. Sami turns back and EJ fails to notice her murderous glance. He suspects Samantha is overflowing with joy. Abe thinks Lexie would approve they are finally getting it right. The eerie music gets louder as EJ drawls he wants everything to be right for them, starting with the wonderful wedding day ... - Paige continues to have issues with her stubborn iphone so no mama photo. Jen invites her to dinner. Paige smiles she already did. Jen sees her to the door and Paige asks her to tell JJ she was by. Jen agrees, closes the door, and smiles about the brand new friend she might be making. The banshee sound plays loudly in the background. Eve’s picture is shown again. - JJ drawls he is just JJ. Eve peers at him with her cat eyes. He explains he is Junior. She asks for the other name, then gets a call. She claims it is work. JJ hastily excuses himself. Eve looks forward to seeing him again soon so they can continue their conversation. JJ leaves hanging his head, fearing she will not approve of his checkered past. - Jordan is busy at work with a smile on her face. Until she meets up with Kate, who demands five minutes. - EJ approaches Rafe at the pub to invite him and Jordan to his wedding. Unshaven Rafe soap stares in disbelief. - Outside at the café, Abigail explains the wedding cake has been ordered. Sami praises the jumpy girl for her talent and grace. Abigail stammers she is not ... Sami sighs she is not comfortable. She thinks she knows why! She was too pushy perhaps and now assures the glum girl she does not have to partake in the wedding if she would rather not. - JJ arrives home and complains Paige’s messages have been bouncing back. Jen points out her phone is having problems. - Paige returns home to mama Eve as banshee music plays. Paige pouts upon finding out her mom met her new boyfriend JJ at the apartment earlier. Eve considers him nice so far and notices her daughter’s dramatic demeanor. Paige admits there are things ... Eve realizes that is why she did not share his name. Paige offers to tell her the story of JJ and urges her to be open minded. Eve looks like the protective mother of a teenager who wants to live. - Jordan is not interested in threats. Kate is not interested in threatening. She reasons they both care about poor Rafe and they should both be concerned! - Rafe acknowledges EJ has been good to Gabi. However, one cannot change history. EJ has not forgotten either and still hopes he will come. Rafe passes. He mutters Sami will see EJ for what he is sooner or later. EJ quips she already does and that is why she wants to marry him. Rafe silently walks out of the pub. EJ grimaces. - Abigail explains she and Sami are not that well acquainted, hence her surprise. Sami admits she is not good at making fiends, she is not even close with her sisters, and the family is against EJ. She believes that Abigail can see the real EJ and knows first-hand how incredible he is. Abigail soap stares. - Jen excitedly asks what Eve looks like. JJ remembers her unbuttoned blouse and gasps she is pretty ... Jen seeks details. The banshee sound plays again. JJ stammers it was a brief encounter and offers to move the box back to the attic. Jen jokes she should show Paige’s mom her old yearbook. She would also like to show JJ the picture of her high school arch enemy ... - Eve hopes JJ is not an arsonist. No, but there was minor legal trouble. Eve is unimpressed. Paige accuses her of trashing everyone, like cousin Joan and Theresa. Eve exclaims Joan has no taste and Theresa is a criminal! She urges her daughter to be careful. Paige pouts she does not know JJ. Eve met him and understands the appeal but his rock and roll fantasy is a red flag. She reminds her scholastic daughter she is Stanford bound. The girl asks point bank if she means she should steer clear of JJ. Eve sighs to just be careful. Paige wants her to see JJ the wonderful in action with his wonderful family. Even JJ’s mom hoped she would come. Eve at last agrees and mother and daughter hug. - Jordan assumes Kate wants her out of the picture. Kate reminds her that tormented Rafe is blaming himself for what transpired to Gabi. And Jordan is the little fool who made him fall in love with her so she had better be there for him! She storms off in her stylishness. - Ben is at the bar and gets tense when T informs him someone was looking for him. Abigail. T senses something is amiss with Ben. - Abigail gasps what does Sami mean? Sami sweetly states he was there for her when she was overwrought about Chad and also her father. Why EJ is so kind and loyal and sexy and strong and ... Sami giggles she is overdoing it. Abigail notes she is in love. She agrees to be part of the wedding after all. Dangerous music plays. Sami sweetly asks her to read something at the ceremony. Abigail agrees and starts to go. Sami insists she will NEVER forget what she did for her. Sami now glares after the girl and quietly speaks her three favorite words. JUST YOU WAIT. - At the town square, unshaven Rafe is on the phone wanting an update on his sister. He owes his pal, who promises to try. Rafe turns around only to come face to face with Jordan. Their eyes lock. - T notices Ben's dark stare. He does not want his friend Abigail to get hurt. Neither does Ben. - EJ is alone in the living room, searching for something that seems to have been misplaced. He walks out into the garden. - Sami meets late Kate at the dark park. She urges her not to blow it. Kate urges her to play it cool with Abigail and EJ. Sami hisses that she downs antacids to stop herself from getting sick when they are around, so deep is her disgust! Mentor Kate advises her to stay the course. Sami is on it and leers they will not see it coming, they will not know what hit them ... - Abigail anxiously climbs a ladder with a ribbon in hand and reaches atop a lit tree in the garden. EJ calls out her name and so she slips from the ladder, right into his strong arms. Abigail is mesmerized. - Jen has lost the page on her yearbook and adds she is excited Paige’s mom is coming over. JJ laments she will not approve of his criminal record. Jen gives him a pep talk and reminds her son he has a good heart. Mrs. Larson will be impressed how he cleaned up his life. And Paige said she was like her. JJ squints and seems to doubt that. - Eve holds up two cocktail dresses. Daughter chooses the blue. Mama muses it is casual. Paige explains the Devereaux are a casual clan. Eve freezes and stares in horror. Her daughter’s boyfriend is JJ Devereaux? Hells bells!
