There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Shirtless bearded Brady wakes up in bed all alone and spies a note addressed to him. Behind said note is more cocaine. - Aiden has a couple of tickets for a nurse at the nurse’s station. Aiden is in gala marketing mode. He bumps into Theresa in her red and black dress and helps her with the dropped papers. She makes eyes at him. He gets charming and tries to sell her a couple of gala tickets. - Cole confronts working JJ at the town square cos he wants him to know something. - At the house of Kiriakis, Dan picks up giggling Parker. Maggie and Victor grin. The lad spent the afternoon with the redhead and the Greek. Victor assures him he can come back and take a swim like he wanted tomorrow, for his party. Maggie innocently hopes Jen will be there. Dan stammers he has to … check. Maggie and Victor stop smiling. - Hope arrives at Horton house and suggests Jen stop obsessing over that old yearbook with evil Eve in it. She was bad news! Jen explains that JJ was actually asking about the yearbook. Hope wonders whether he is aware of Jack’s history with that Eve. Jen thanks God he does not know! If JJ or Abigail knew why Jack married Eve, it would lower their opinion of him. However, Jen is curious what the evecat is doing. Hope muses she must be milking a millionaire of his money and making more people unhappy. The detective now deduces something else is troubling her woeful cousin. - At the apartment, Paige is happy to see her MOM! Eve notes things are better and she is here to stay in Salem forever! Paige is elated. Mother and daughter share a hug. - Brady reads the note from Theresa reminding him about his big meeting today. He takes the coke and considers the temptation. - Sexy mama Eve realizes that her daughter is different and coos she is confident now! She is a powerful woman ready to unleash her roar on the world! Paige sweetly suggests that would be her mom. Eve thinks she and her Paigie girl will have a super summer in Salem! And they can get started by clothes shopping. Leopard lady Eve promises the teen a wardrobe with tons of outfits. Paige gets worried when she mentions needing a nurse. Eve smiles she is just getting those nodules taken care of so she can sing. She is getting surgery with Dr. Jonas and this will work! She also promises a new improved accommodation. Better than what her cousin has here. She thinks her daughter deserves better. Paige points out they do not have the funds. Eve states she will soon be able to sing again. Paige is aghast her mom actually believes singing will pay for her high tuition at Stanford. Paige now starts to do an internet search of financial aid. The girl is close to tears as her mother states she will soon be singing. She sits her down and asks her to tell her about something happy in Salem. She wants to know all about her brand new boyfriend. Paige calls him great. Eve only knows his initials are JJ. She asks for a full name ... - Cole claims he hates JJ but he hates Bev way worse. He now comes clean that Bev the beech paid him to try and plant weed in his girl’s purse. JJ spies Bev walking off and he is in hot pursuit! Cole is pleased. Mission accomplished! - Hope asks about Dan. Silence. Hope is already aware of Eric’s evidence being hidden by Nicole and assumes Jen’s reluctance to discuss the doc is due to his deep disappointment in Nicole for her questionable actions. Jen now whispers he is doubly disappointed. With Nicole and ... - Dan thanks Magic for watching the boy. Victor points out he was with Jen when Chloe came by the house and dropped Parker off. Vic knows something is off. Dan admits they have decided to take a break so Jen will not be attending tomorrow night. Maggie is unpleasantly surprised and hopes it will not last, this mysterious break. Dan is making no promises. - Theresa is curious why slick salesman Aiden is helping St. Luke’s. Because his son is a student at the school. Brady suddenly arrives, high as a kite, and aggressively accuses Aiden of trying to make moves on his girl. Theresa the terrible is delighted. - Paige stammers everyone calls JJ JJ. Eve wants to learn more about him Paige would rather she wait until she meets him. Eve has high standards for this boy of her dreams. Paige impulsively invites her to come with her for dinner at the house of JJ’s mom tonight, to celebrate their exams being over. Perhaps. But first she has an announcement to make. - Aiden wants Brady to relaaaaaax. Brady threatens to take it outside. Theresa intervenes and explains they already have plans. Exit Aiden. Brady calls him a pompous ass. Theresa realizes Brady is wired. He ushers her to the elevator. - At the house of Kiriakis, Victor and Parker are said to be playing video games. Dan now sits with Maggie. She wonders what went wrong with him and Jen. It is … complicated. And he is not at liberty to discuss the details, since others are involved. Maggie is sorry he is so upset. He sighs he believed Jen knew him. Alas he was wrong! - Jen updates Hope on why Dan is so upset with her. He is hurt that she admitted she thought Nicole could manipulate him. She had no idea he would take it so hard. But her and Dan still belong together! - Dan laments to mama Maggie that he was wrong. Jennifer does not believe in him. He woefully stands up. Maggie stands up too and snaps Jennifer Rose is dead wrong and would do well to come to her senses ... - Aiden arrives at Horton house to find Hope. He wonders whether Hope shared the news. Jen wonders what he means. Aiden smoothly states they got the Salem ballroom as the gala venue and suggests she and her man Dan might want to sponsor a table, given her doctor lover is established and godfather Victor is richer than rich. Hope tries to stop him. But Aiden the slick salesman will not stop until Hope insists he cease and desist. - Bev is caught by JJ outside the pub but Bev insists Cole did not tell the truth. JJ accuses her of trying to set up Paige, the girl of his dreams. Bev puts down the girl as a beeech and blurts out JJ would be better with HER! - Eve notes her daughter is too talented and others might be jealous. She is in fact referring to her family, like Paige’s Aunt Theresa. - Theresa is with Brady at the park. He is jumpy as ever and wants to discuss where they go from here. Theresa is all about the fun factor. But Brady yearns for more and shoves his hands in his jean pockets, stating as much. Theresa is pleasantly surprised. Brady admits he does not want her to be with another man. That must mean he cares. He feels they are about more than the sex and booze and drugs. Without that stuff, there could be something more, something special. He asks what she thinks. Theresa smiles. - Paige promises her mom she respected her wishes and did not get in contact with Theresa. Eve wants it to stay that way. She last saw Paige when she was a wee one. Theresa probably would not recognize her. However, grandpa Shane did ask her to check up on the troublemaker and she did agree. She tries to make light of it. - Bev accuses JJ of placing pretty Paige on a pedestal. JJ thinks that is not a bad thing. She deserves it. Bitter Bev warns him that girl will only judge him and … JJ warns her to stay away from them. He will not allow her to ruin their romance. Bev scowls and goes on her rejected way. - Jen confirms she and Dan are taking some time apart. To think things over, to regroup. Aiden is sorry. Jen offers to make some calls and get more people to come to the gala. Hope drags Aiden out to see about the caterers. But first she hugs her unhappy cousin and reminds her she loves her. - Dan admits to Maggie that he still misses and loves Jen and she loves him too. Maggie marvels then they should not be apart. Dan gasps he will not ignore who Jen really thinks he is. The redhead realizes he sounds final. - Theresa realizes Brady means business. She can do serious but keeps giggling. Then she admits she likes him serious and she also likes what he said. Then he kisses her. - Paige encourages her mom to attend the dinner tonight. She will not commit yet as she must deal with Theresa first. She asks her daughter to leave the unairconditioned apartment door open. Exit Paige, The door is open. Eve sighs and makes the call she is dreading. - Theresa is smooching up a storm with Brady at the park and assumes that blocked number is work. She says hello. At the other end, Eve pauses. Theresa repeats herself. - Dan will only be honest. Maggie reminds him how good he and Jen were together. He relents and agrees that with time, they might work it out. He hugs her though his eyes are shadowed with doubt. - At the pub, Hope reads possible menus for the gala and notes Aiden’s distant demeanor. He is hard on himself for saying the wrong thing. He alludes to their own history and observes Hope with his blue eyes. - Paige is at the square desperately seeking JJ. She texts asking where he is. Sweet music plays in the background. JJ texts her back. He will see her at home soon but the text seems to encounter a problem. - Theresa says helloooooo hellooooo? Eve ends the call and decides she needs a drink first! It does not help much that the apartment is stifling and hot ... - Hope teases Aiden. He thinks that thanks to her the gala planning is proceeding well. He now notes he has no date and neither does she so how about it! Hope agrees they can attend together ... as friends. She adds she is always armed. Aiden is amused. He would not have it any other way! - Theresa hopes Brady does not think that was a guy calling. He assures her he trusts her, no need to worry. Theresa grabs him in a passionate kiss and emotionally thanks him for the sentiment. Brady has that meeting. Theresa starts to offer him more coke and complains they are out. She now gets paiged by boss lady Anne, who wants her to get her lunch. Brady agrees they can talk later. Theresa promises to get them more coke and walks off. Brady checks his own pocket, where he had shoved the remaining stash. He puts it back in his pocket and keeps walking. - Maggie and Victor discuss acceptance. She admits she has accepted all things different about her Greek tycoon. He roguishly replies she was perfect and they seal the deal with a kiss. - Dan is carrying Parker through the park. He considers himself one lucky da... - Paige arrives at Horton house, only to learn from Jen that JJ is not home. - JJ knocks on the half-open, low rental apartment door, desperately seeking Paige. Jiggling Eve appears and buttons up her top. She stares at the young man and says OHHHH. JJ grins at her. Eve wonders. THE END |
