There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Dr. Dan has just shaken Eve’s hand at his office. He does not know who she really is! He assumes she is not from Salem but she quips she is and came back and yes some things have changed though not everything! Dan does not ask what she means by that. Perhaps he should. - At Horton house, JJ hopes Dr. Dan and Jen are not breaking up. - Eric is at the nurse’s station, wanting to know whether Dan is available. When he finds out quite by chance that Marlena has cancelled all her appointments, he takes off to do damage control. He knows exactly where she went! - At Nicole’s door, she threatens to make Eric lose his holy chances. Marlena accuses her of hurting him because she is furious with HER. Nicole snaps and Sami too and calls Sami trashy! - Victor has summoned confused Kate to the ornate house of Kiriakis. He wants to celebrate and offers her champagne. He also has an envelope for her and cackles it contains her pink slip. Kate is FIRED! The diva in blue is baffled. Vic does not mince words. DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD! It is all because she would not listen and fell into bed with Stefano. He accuses her of giving the phoenix company secrets. Kate denies the charge but the Greek thinks he knows better, She has been accepting expensive jewelry for passing on his secrets. He cackles at least he knows her price! - Sami puts the picture of EJ and Abigail back in the envelope when Harold appears. She agrees the time has come to take out the... treats. He is amused it is wedding cake samples and goes off. Sami stops to address Stefano's portrait. According to the phoenix, revenge is a dish best served cold. Sami is out for REVENGE! She puts the envelope back in the red briefcase and gets back to the garden, where EJ was tenderly touching anxious Abigail’s face, assuring her she will be AWLRIGHT. He pulls back the hand when Sami emerges with Harold, who bears lemonade and a tray of wedding cake samples. Sami sweetly asks how Abigail is now. Fine. The girl is given some lemonade and turns down anything alcoholic. Sami tries to keep control of the situation by speaking incessantly. She hopes the weather will be as nice as today for their wedding. Harold had no idea the wedding would be so soon. Sami praises Abigail for helping her and wants to discuss the music. EJ tries to excuse himself but Sami will not let him leave. She smiles both she and Abigail neeeeed him! Abigail downs more lemonade. - Nicole gets sarcastic about Marlena and Sami’s wanton ways. They hurt Eric way more than her. Moreover, Marlena’s so-called attempts to help her children border on the idiotic. Marlena stews. - At Horton house, unhappy Jen tries to tell JJ things will work out. She would rather not get into analyzing relationships with her teenage son. She now asks him to take that box back to the attic. When he starts to lift said box, stuff falls out. JJ picks up Jen’s high school year book. She smiles about the memories. Some were good, but others not so good ... - Dan has a tea for Eve as he drinks his and wonders if they have any mutual people they know in Salem. Perhaps. She coyly claims Daniel might play an important role in her future ... - Paige pouts at the square, having witnessed Bev consorting with Cole the creep. - JJ sees a picture of Frankie in the now open retro yearbook and is surprised Jen even knew him back then. Jen gushes they were an item. Plenty of girls were after Frankie - especially one! Jen grimaces. - Eve explains she thinks Dan is the man who will be able to rid her of those nasty nodules, thus saving her singing career. He agrees, though there is a slight problem. - Marlena calls Nicole crazy for blaming her and Sami for her own machinations. Nicole grabs her by the arm to shove her out. Marlena thunders to take her hands off her! Eric appears. Drums play. - Victor is disgusted that Kate stole from the company. He warns her to get out and also stay out of Mad World! He is somewhat surprised by her dead calm. Kate hisses JUST YOU WAIT. The Greek, however, is more interested in his glass of bubbly ... - Alarmed Abigail agrees EJ should stay to wedding plan. She seems to sense something is amiss and is scared to be around Sami alone. Sami lovingly looks up at her fiancé. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. He replies he will always love her too. Sami giggles it is a song and there are many other romantic ones Abigail is too young to know. She gushes all about love and boasts that in private, EJ is romantic. She shrieks in delight and proposes a toast. To the wedding - it will be a day they never forget! They all drink their sweet lemonade and Sami's blue eyes are filed with mischief. She suddenly remembers the board meeting that will take place shortly after the wedding. But first she wants a picture of Abigail and EJ together to check the backdrop. Sami thinks it is not so great once she has taken the picture. Abigail recalls a flower trellis she saw at an outdoor wedding so Sami sends EJ to the shed to find a trellis. Alone with Abigail she hugs the girl and claims she is having fun. Abigail cringes. - Hurricane Kate storms into the DiMera mansion, screaming for Sami. Harold is not sure what to make of it. - Paige approaches Bev at the square, who is wearing an insincere smile. Paige perceived her conversing with Cole and wonders whether they are close. He was the one who almost took her purse! Bev bad mouths the former classmate turned shoplifter and changes the subject by asking Paige about her finals. Once the girl has gone, Cole returns and she scolds him for being so reckless. That girl is not as dumb as she looks! - Jen admits the girl in the yearbook picture was her rival. JJ asks for a name. Jen cannot recall. Besides, some things are best left in the past. - Eve hopes there is no side effect. Negative. But the surgery is not covered by her plan and that is the problem. She suggests they start the tests anyway. She suspects she will come into some cash soon! Dan deduces the performer is driven to perform. She muses she is driven about many things. - Eric feels Marlena has made a mistake by confronting Nicole. Marlena insists some things had to be said and now warns her son that Nicole claimed she would not help him with the church inquiry. She leaves them to discuss it. Nicole tries to explain she did not mean her harsh words. Eric looks at her with loathing. - Kate is still screaming for Sami. Harold patiently points out Kate was not expected today. - Sami sits Abigail down for some cake and coos she is a good girl but Kate interruptus! She flies at Sami and accuses her of causing her woes. Sami calls her delusional and wants to taste wedding cake samples with Abigail. Kate calls her a beech and tosses lemonade, which splatters mostly on Abigail. The girl tries to break up the battling broads, as does Harold, when they wildly throw cake at each other. - JJ teases Jen for having a rival. Jen recalls rival girl and Frankie left Salem together but then came back and Frankie and Jen reconciled. JJ is intrigued to hear about Jen’s high school days … until pretty Paige pops by, having finished her last final! They will all celebrate a little later. Jen is planning a special dinner. - Leopard lady Eve asks Dan about the kids whose photos are in his office and flirts when she finds out he is single. She then goes on her way, to take care of her own matters. The singing banshee is heard. - Nicole woefully repeats she did not mean her words. She loooves him. Eric gets a call from the bishop. - EJ tries to intervene. Kate accuses them both of having Victor fire her. When Stefano finds out, there will be big trouble! Sami hisses he will kick her to the curb. But Kate loudly lets it be known that Stefano trusts in her unwavering love and support, unlike scheming EJ and Sami! She smears some raspberry dessert on EJ's shirt and taunts that Stefano will have to be told he cannot be trusted! Then she storms off. Sami takes a taste of the raspberry on EJ's shirt and likes it. Abigail stares in horror. - Lonely girl Jen sighs at Dan's picture and then sits down with her high school year book. She comes across the picture and name of the girl who was her arch enemy back in those days. EVE! - Eve stands surveying the Salem square, noting the place has changed. She spies the Horton plaque and sighs not everything ... - Mad Marlena enters the pub. Roman pretends to be talking to Gisele, to make her see red. Marlena is already plenty mad and Roman wonders why. Nicole. Marlena was not unaffected by her accusation that she hurts her children more than she helps them and makes an exasperated face. - Eric informs Nicole that the bishop has begun to contact people. She promises to be on his side. Eric does not believe her, orders her to remove the engagement ring, and walks out. Nicole's face falls with bitter disappointment. - Sami suggests Harold escort poor little thing Abigail inside and assures the cake splattered girl that her closet is hers. She may select an outfit to change into. Once she is gone, EJ demands Samantha share wot she did to Kate. Sami smugly states she let it slip near one of Victor's men that Kate was giving them secrets and Stefano was aware of it. EJ snaps it is not true! Sami smiles and agrees. EJ thinks it is a mess and now fatha will be suspicious. Sami sweetly reminds him he always calls them the perfect team. However, she is sorry if he felt she broke his trust. EJ enjoys some of the raspberry mess, calls her trouble, and goes to make some calls to fix things. Sami leers after him when he has walked away. YOU DO THAT HOTSHOT! - Jennifer flashes back to a long time ago when Eve taunted her about just having married JACK and consummating the marriage. She even showed off her new ring. Jen comes back to reality and decides it is best not to remember such things. Visiting Victor arrives, grinning and bearing the numbers for Jack’s book. There was a spike and a movie deal is in the works. Jen is grateful, especially because Jack’s book proceeds are going entirely to veterans. Jack would approve. Victor now invites Jen to the get together Maggie is having for Parker and Dan. Jen starts to say something but the Greek gets an eyeful of the open yearbook, noticing that TRAMP from days gone by. - Eric finally makes it to Dan’s office and enlists his cooperation for the church investigation ... - Nicole is sitting on her big bed, tragically taking off her engagement ring, as ordered. She now gets a call from the bishop's circle ... - Roman believes Nicole would not hurt Eric as Marlena suspects and suggests they get through this trying time together. - Abigail comes downstairs in a simple outfit and discusses the depth of Sami’s anger with EJ. It makes her fear what would happen if she knew what they had done! EJ tiredly tells her that Samantha will not eva discover their secret. Sami marches in and takes over. She wants to see Abigail home and asks her opinion of the cakes. EJ sits, wringing his hands. He seems to be worried. Very worried. He should be! - Victor sighs and muses that one must have ended up in Guantanamo. Jen admits the thought of her still gives her the creeps The sound of the banshee is heard. Jen adds she could not bring herself to tell JJ that Eve is related to Theresa and was once wed to Jack. She saw no purpose in making her teen’s life more complicated than it already is. - JJ is doing his trash collecting work at the square and texts Paige, who will be back soon. - Paige gets back to her apartment and calls out she is hooooome. The banshee sound is heard. Eve comes running out to hug her BABY. - Dan promises he will do his best to help and tell the church the whole story. Eric notes wildcard Nicole would carry the most weight with her testimony but will she step up? - Nicole is still on her phone. The former parish secretary snaps she gathers the bishop wants her to testify to the church board but he can forget it! She will never help Eric the good father! Click. - At the mansion, EJ is changing into a clean shirt, suggesting to Shin on a long distance call that he would win more support with sympathetic board members. Elsewhere in the mansion, butler Harold is on the phone with Stefano. He informs him of loyal lady Kate's declaration that she loved and supported him. - Kate and Sami meet up at the park. The two women embrace. Sami gasps it went purrfectly. Kate agrees. Sami promises she will be in touch and walks off. Kate's cat eyes narrow. The scheme team from hell is just getting started ...!
