Outside at the square, Steve has overheard Tripp talking to Jade and asks about his surprise for Kayla. He takes a seat, all ears ... Jen bursts into the community center to update Eric on John's wonderful news that the marooned were found. And Abigail is not Dominican Republic bound! She is sorry she was in a state and wonders about a do over of their date. Eric is all for it but gets distracted when a call comes in from Nicole's probation officer. She will be working here! Jen looks down as Eric gets going ... Nicole is in her bed dreaming. She sees grown up Holly, who knows not who she is. She calls Chloe her mother. Nicole insists she is her biological daughter. Holly has no interest or love for her and walks away. Nicole wakes up beside Brady, who heard her call out for Holly. She laments she has lost her forever. She dreamt that teen Holly did not want to talk to her cos she thought Chloe was her mother. She suspects it was a sneak peek into her future. Brady gives her a pep talk about Chloe coming around. Meantime she can help him raise Tate for their little family. He believes Holly will be with them soon and they kiss in romantic bliss ... Hope paces at the police station and snaps to Rafe she wants Deimos locked up! Rafe brings up drug dealing Rory, who is known to the law. Perhaps they should probe him for a hot lead on the street ... Jen now rushes in gushing for a party for John and the survivors. Rafe is elated as well. Jen now sits with Hope and confides she is confused about Eric again. Hope the sage smiles to try and see if they were meant to be ... Tripp pretends to mistrust Steve with his secret. Jade lies she suggested he treat helpful Kayla to a special lunch at the club to show his gtaritude. Steve offers to get Kayla there and help with the bill. He asks when. Jade decides one o'clock. Steve tells Tripp he will see him soon and heads back to sweetness. Tripp gets more instructions on what to order and to text Joey to come. Jade adds she will be joining the cake party ... At the club Tripp asks for a table for five and cake. He bribes the server to set it up ... Steve hugs Kayla about the marooned being saved and suggests they celebrate with Lunch ... Eric faces Brady at the Kiriakis mansion. Nicole is out for a walk. Eric tried but the judge did not budge. Nicole will hate it. Brady knows it will not be easy ... Nicole comes across pink Holly at the park with leopard dress Chloe. Nicole is happy to hear Holly is starting to crawl. She offers to order some safety latches. Chloe lets her know she is leaving Salem with Holly and Parker. Nicole's face falls and a tragic piano tinkles ... Kayla comes to the surprise party hosted by Tripp. Joey is also present. Jade arrives and wishes her a nice party. Tripp and Joey agree she should stay despite Kayla's initial response against it. Tripp thanks her for all her help. He marvels how much people trust her at the hospital and how she makes him feel he belongs. Kayla smiles he does belong with them ... Rafe has Rory in his office asking him about halo and the dude dealing. Rafe offers gratitude if he gives a name. Rory will look into it ... Down at the docks Deimos ends a call ordering more production of halo 2.0. Eric passes and the crazed creep hounds him, reminding him he aided and abetted and even killed Nicole's doctor Dan ... Nicole sadly states Chloe can stay in Salem, she will not interfere. Chloe explains she needs to be near Nancy. Nicole sits beside her on the bench. Chloe claims she is trying to be considerate. Nicole thanks her for helping with the judge and is looking forward to raising Tate with Brady. Chloe is happy she is with Brady the good. Nicole sighs it seems this is goodbye. Chloe offers to let her hold Holly, who gurgles. Alas Nicole cries she cannot cos it would be too hard to let her go again ... Tripp tells the gang that the lunch was Jade's idea. Jade insists she wants things to work out and thanks Joey for letting her stay for lunch. She touches his hand and Kayla cringes ... Chloe promises to send pictures. Nicole knows she will look after Holly and noticed she is getting a tooth too. Chloe cries she will be showered with love. Nicole says goodbye to her sweet smiling baby and whispers she will love her forever. Chloe leaves with her and Nicole feels her heart break ... Jen is searching for a file on Eric's messy desk. A box falls and she finds his unsent letter collection to Nicole ... Deimos blames Eric for causing the accident that gave Brady Dan's heart, which is the only reason Nicole is with him. Eric growls to get out of town. Deimos grins he is gonna stay. He asks about the lease on Eric's old farmhouse and tells him not to bother trying to atone anymore. Eric admits he will live with what he did just as Deimos has to live without Nicole. Deimos leers to have a drink. Eric talks tough and tells him to stay away from Nicole ... The lunch to celebrate Saint Kayla is over. Tripp takes care of the bill. Jade invites Joey to her job interview. Kayla counters it would look better to go alone. Jade sarcastically thanks her for the tip and leaves the table. Kayla is cross Joey is letting Jade take advantage again. He needs to steer clear of that girl and cut her out forever. Jade is standing around the corner and hears every word ... Eric returns to the center frustrated about the judge not changing Nicole's community service. Jen shows him the letters she found that he never sent to Nicole. He talks making amends. She wonders about his obsession. He gasps he could never find the words to say how sorry he was. Jen notes but only with Nicole. He hangs his head and she sadly states they will not work. He first has to admit his unresolved feelings for Nicole ... Rory is now tailing Deimos down at the docks and takes out his phone. He is taking a big risk by getting so near the mad Mediterranean mobster ... Joey takes Jade a bag of food at the square and reminds her they will never get romantic. Then he walks away not wanting to lead her on. Jade is reduced to tears ... Rory arrives at the station to tell Rafe and Hope he has seen the candyman going into his halo lab. He is a throat slitter. Instead of a statement he presents a picture of DEIMOS ... Eric insists Nicole hates him but Jen feels his feelings for Nicole are not a thing of the past. She weeps she does not want to be hurt and asks to be friends. The former father praises his new bff. Jen urges him to read the letters and be honest with himself about how he feels. Then she picks up her purse and primly walks out the door. Eric soap stares ... Brady thanks unseen unheard John - who is calling from JFK - for the fantastic news. Nicole walks in and he gushes about the good news that Sonny and the others survived. He sees she is crestfallen, however. Nicole laments Chloe is leaving town with Holly today. Brady is miffed. Nicole melts down and ends up in his arms again with a sigh of sorrow ... Jade catches up with Tripp and complains Kayla got to Joey again. Tripp tells her Kayla will pay for all her crimes... At the park Steve and Kayla kiss in bliss. She marvels about marvelous Tripp who is nothing like Ava their ancient enemy. Steve asks if she thinks his son could make it in medicine. She replies he shadowed her with interest and gets back to work. Steve watches her walk away and gets to thinking ... Alone again, Eric the tormented takes out his letters to Nicole and starts to read ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Brady assures Nicole things will get better. Ding dong! Knock knock! Tis Chloe holding Holly the pink bundle of joy. Brady looks back at Nicole. No words are spoken. Miraculous music plays ... END! |
