He sees a wedding gown sketch and whispers he will be out a wee while ... Summer joins Maggie at the square bright and early. Maggie is sad she moved out of the townhouse but Summer felt unwanted by Victor! Meanwhile Victor meets surprised Justin, who has been summoned to the Edge. The nervous nephew complains he could go to prison on account of what he did ... Chad and Marlena are at Shady Hills, where a fire took place. Chad asks about Abigail and the nurse is sorry to say she was injured ... Justin senses the cops closing in. Victor updates him on Nicole being the main suspect. He assumes Roman fell for it and with Deimos gone they will get back their lives... At the station Roman gives Shawn an address to venture to ... Marlena gets a text from Jen, who is on her way. The doctor appears and Chad is desperate for word on his wife. She starts to say the fire was intentionally set and must step away ... Theresa dreams of preparing for her wedding with Brady and maid of honor Madame Milbauer. The bride and groom gush and giggle. Milbauer warns it is a matrimonial mistake to see each other before the wedding. Brady presents his almost bride with a rare blue emerald necklace. New and blue. He will see her at the altar. Anne talks superstition and then the necklace breaks. A bad sign. The dream continues ... Summer suggests she was simply in the way. Maggie hopes she is remaining in town. Brady arrives and Maggie asks him to have a seat. Summer makes eyes at him and he says no. Summer excuses herself to get a coffee refill. Brady brings up Nicole and the fact that she could not have killed Deimos. Maggie sighs nevertheless, Victor will not change his opinion ... Victor insists there is nothing to worry about for Deimos will turn up dead and he will get Titan back. Justin now admits he actually destroyed the evidence. Victor looks worried .... Meanwhile Roman gets on the phone with state police, to discuss the missing evidence on the perp in question ... Chad threatens to sue Shady Hills when the doctor describes how Abigail was partially burned by the flash fire. She takes him in the room and he weeps at the sight of his bandaged beloved. Marlena places a sympathetic hand on his arm ... Theresa places the broken necklace down her dress. Then Anne pours the bubbly for them both but falls and hits her head on the floor. She is out cold. Theresa thinks things could not get worse ... Summer returns when Brady is gone and admits she has unreturned feelings for him. Maggie's eyes widen ... Brady has joined Justin and Victor at the Edge and insists Nicole did not do it. Justin agrees. Victor calls his grandson's brain opium. The Greek tells them both he can get Titan back with or without them ... Chad prays and wonders why Abigail is not awake. Marlena explains the pain medication must be heavy. But her face was unscathed from the fire, it was just splashed by accelerant. Marlena has no idea how it happened. The patient opens her eyes and implores Chad to get her out and tell HIM to go away for where Marlena stands she sees a hallucination of BEN. He is still in her head ... Theresa's wedding nightmare continues. She is clad in her wedding gown as Milbauer is taken away by ambulance but when the bride looks down the dress is not on her. Victor viciously taunts the blushing bride ... Summer admits she blurted out her feelings to Brady but he loves only Theresa. She feels like a fool. Maggie is sorry. Summer lists all he did for her, hence her feelings. She adds Theresa has been too mean. The redhead reasons Theresa worked to earn her second chance in Salem. Summer suggests she wants better for Brady is all. Maggie muses she and Dario seem close. Summer states they are friends only. There is no one to move on with. Maggie muses love can come from the most unexpected places and lets out a girlish giggle ... Justin wants to know how Victor intends to get Titan back. Brady wants to know what kind of deal he made with Kate. Justin suggests it is sufficient to live without winning but for the Greek to win IS to breathe ... Now no one is there and Abigail gasps BEN. Then he disappears. Marlena tries to calm her down. Abigail snaps she is not seeing things and wants to see her son and go home. The doctor comes back and kicks out the visitors. Chad promises he is listening and he will be right outside. Abigail stammers he was standing there as the doctor gets new meds. When she walks back out Chad snaps his wife is worse. He demands an explanation. Alas the doctor must attend to the other patients who were upset by the fire. Marlena offers to help her and assures Chad she will find out more for him... Shawn arrives and asks Chad about Abigail. He is momentarily called away before he can enlighten him on who the fire starter was. Chad stands at the nurse's station sweating with worry. Something is OFF ... Theresa dreams of Victor taunting to cover up. She screams get out. The Greek warns her Brady will tire of her and suggests he would be better off marrying the low class drifter. Summer appears in the wedding gown gushing she won him over and will now wed Brady. The wedding march music starts. Theresa is now wearing a blanket and finds Brady in his tuxedo. He calls her crazy and walks away from the screaming girl to wed Summer instead. Theresa now wakes up alone, her eyes filled with worry ... Victor arrives with a rude remark so Summer leaves. Maggie flies at him for disrespecting her daughter. She throws down her napkin ... Brady is bothered by Victor supporting Kate's set-up of Nicole and urges Justin to protect her. Justin as the D.A. will do his best. Roman now approaches and Brady leaves the D.A. to his private discussion with the commissioner. Roman laments Jimmy the perp who had to be released due to missing evidence. Justin feigns surprise and suggests a friend on the inside. Roman vows to get the proof and send away the person for a long long time. Justin soap stares at the crafty commissioner, who is already aware the security cameras were disabled ... Justin has finished his coffee and wishes Roman luck. The commissioner will keep him posted and steps away. Summer now slides into the seat across from Justin as sexy music plays. When he hears she moved out of Maggie's, he laughs Victor must have gotten on her nerves. She fibs she forgot her wallet so he offers to pay for her coffee ... Brady gets home and Theresa grabs him in a passionate paranoid kiss ... Shawn catches up with Chad and confirms he does indeed know who started the fire. Chad's baby blue eyes are perturbed ... Brady gushes he should go out more often. Theresa stammers they need to set a wedding date before something happens. He agrees and she kisses him again ... Smiling Summer promises to pay Justin back for the coffee and wonders how she can get on Victor's good side. Justin makes a joke and asks what Maggie says. Summer sighs she will never be happy. Justin flirts until Adrienne appears asking for a word and she looks intense. Sumer says thanks for the coffee and sits at another table, staring at the D.A. ... A cop hands Roman the bloodied and muddied handkerchief Kate planted down by the river ... Maggie warns Victor he is being consumed with anger and wonders what he is hiding. He admits his plan was to let Kate keep the money as long as he could have Titan back but now he is tired. She recalls he had an idea to leave Salem and he sighs it does not sound so bad after all ... Marlena sadly returns and stands by Shawn, who sadly states he knows who started the fire. Pause. Chad starts to cry that his Abigail could NOT have done it. Tragic music plays ... THE END! |
