There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Bad boy Brady partied all night long and fell asleep on the sofa of Theresa. The shirtless wonder now sports a hefty heart tattoo on his bicep. Fully dressed Theresa the terrible wakes up her sleeping beauty, kisses him, and coos about his tattoo. The billionaire heir does not even remember getting it. OH MY GOD! Theresa gets the breakfast ready. She teases not to worry, it is temporary and will come off easily with soap and water. She gushes he got one after she said they were sexy. Brady pales at the breakfast she offers so she suggests another potent pick-me-up instead and dangles the drugs right before his eyes ... - At the square, Jordan stares suspiciously at Sami and Kate having a heated conversation. She fears they are discussing her! However, Sami is just blasting Kate and warning her not to mess up their lives with Stefano. Kate protests. Jordan approaches. Sami scoffs and wants to know what she wants. Kate calls their conversation private. Jordan notes they were awfully loud for private people. Sami cares not and reminds Kate of her history with Stefano. Kate reminds Sami of her history with EJ, the one that gets repeated again and again. Sami snaps and storms off. Jordan now demands to know what Kate said about her! Stylish Kate suggests she is paranoid. Jordan has not forgotten she broke into her home and says so. Kate leers she did not let Sami know she was a fraud. Not yet. Then why does Sami act like she hates her? Kate hisses she should get out of town before everyone hates her like they ought to and waltzes off. - Ben notices Detective Hope at the club and she admits to the curious club employee she has been working hard on the case. Colorful Julie joins Hope, who informs her of Gabi entering her plea today at the courthouse, as well as Julie and any other family members' right to officially object to said plea. A deal has been made ... - Rafe meets EJ at the courthouse and bitterly wonders about the deal, grumbling about Nick the bastard who wronged his sister. Legal eagle EJ is well prepared and optimistic the good deal will be accepted by the judge in a jiffy. Rafe drawls it means his sister still gets years in prison and he refuses to be happy about it. Gabi is brought in by a police guard and throws her arms around big brother. - Victor drops by the Wilson apartment and lets Will know he is here for them on this day and always. Well-dressed Will appreciates it. The Greek grins Sonny is a lucky man. Suave Sonny emerges and heartily agrees he is lucky, also to have such a great uncle! - Gabi and Rafe are left alone and she laments she tried talking to mama, who had few words. She starts to cry as Rafe tries to make her feel better. The girl in black is feeling lost and alone. Rafe assures her he is here for her but first wants to make sure this is really what she wants - to enter a guilty plea and forego the trial. Without hesitation, glum Gabi gasps she is guilty and must pay! She alludes to having her reasons but does not elaborate. Rafe offers his full support. EJ steps forward and drawls this day should go smoothly, provided Nick's family does not cause problems by protesting ... - Julie has just read the plea deal and becomes highly agitated. Hope explains no family members gave any response to the plea deal. Julie exclaims this is not justice for Nick! It will simply not do! - Will and Sonny sigh to sympathetic Victor that the baby had a hard night, asking after her mama. Ring ring! Victor hopes it will go well and Sonny assures him he understands he has things to attend to. They will be fine. Exit the Greek tycoon. Will now complains he wishes Gabi had let them head to the courtroom to be there for her instead of staying at home with the baby. Sonny states she is strong and he suspects she will be alright. - Gabi exclaims if Nick's family causes trouble, there could be a trial. She could end up with a life sentence! Rafe drawls not to think about it. EJ solemnly admits such a scenario could happen. However, the majority of Nick's family will not be at the hearing, though Hope or Maggie could show. Gabi also wants a chance to tell her baby goodbye. She is her everything! If the judge is stubborn on that point, EJ intends to fight for the right ... - Hope explains to noisy outraged Julie that the governor and D.A. would prefer to avoid the negative publicity of a trial. Julie exclaims poor Nick! Ben interrupts and calls him a manic. He saw how he acted with Abigail! Hope patiently asks him to excuse them. Ben apologizes and returns to his duties. Julie laments even the busboy has an opinion. Hope sighs Nick made many people mad and he was no innocent. A long trial would serve no purpose. Julie begs to differ and declares she will be seeing her at the courthouse, to make sure justice is served for Nick! The diva takes a deep dramatic breath. - Brady is a tad tempted but decides against the quick fix, opting for a quick shower instead. He fixes the towel around his waist and grumbles he cannot continue partying so hard. Theresa humors her billionaire heir as he heads to the shower, though she has no intention of letting him get off the drugs that she feels keep them together. An irate knock sounds at her door. The kitten in red now opens the door to none other than Victor Kiriakis, who does not mince words. WHERE'S MY GRANDSON, YOU LITTLE TRAMP! She sarcastically replies he is in the shower and her name happens to be Theresa. He walks in with a scowl and she sweetly offers him some cereal. He quips he would rather have some disinfectant and growls at her to get his grandson out of that shower now. Theresa tells him off for his rudeness. The big Greek grins she is fiery like her mother, then frowns and calls her a loose gold digger. Brady emerges in his towel and orders granddad to stop! - Jordan pouts at the club and asks for tea. Ben wonders what irks her. Rafe did not want her at the hearing with his sister and pushed her away. Ben has had enough of the hiding and holding back. He thinks Jordan should go for it, be there for Rafe, and she thanks him for the pep talk. So much for tea! Off she goes to see her guy with a smile. - Sami sadly arrives at the Wilson apartment. Will sighs it all starts in minutes. Sonny will get the baby's things ready in case EJ can get Gabi the chance to see her one more time. Sami has high praise for EJ's ability but Will woefully notes Gabi will be gone too long to raise her daughter. Sami assures him they will make this work. Will worries it could get worse. The judge could reject the plea. Gabi could risk life imprisonment. - Hope quietly updates EJ and Gabi and Rafe outside the courtroom. The judge has read the plea deal. EJ arrogantly assumes it will go through. All of a sudden, Julie storms in, vowing to destroy Gabi's future just as she destroyed Nick's! Hope tries to talk her out of interfering. So does Rafe, suggesting Nick was no innocent. EJ takes Hope aside and quietly states Nick had indicated he wanted to change. But his nefarious sins could be brought up in a trial. Hope agrees and goes to see what she can do. Julie speaks of justice. Rafe speaks of Nick the murderer. Julie argues her Nick was not really a murderer as he only killed a horrible man when he was on drugs. Rafe and Julie continue to debate. Gabi starts to panic. EJ attempts to calm her. The police guard appears and announces the judge is ready for them. Rafe walks his sister in, his arm draped around her. EJ solemnly follows. Hope stops Julie and urges her to think it over. She then asks her to answer her ringing phone and heads into the courthouse. Julie pauses and evidently does take the call. - Sami is busy texting at the Wilson apartment. Will grows impatient and gets a call from Rafe. Sonny wonders. Sami would like to know whether the plea has been accepted. Will soap stares. - After the unseen unheard hearing ... Gabi steps forward to thank Julie. Julie calls her family generous. They could not bear to have a trial and Nick's name further tarnished by EJ the unscrupulous lawyer so she kept her silence. Gabi is sorry. Julie still feels that is not sufficient and gets choked up, remembering how deeply Nick loved the girl. She deserves at least 20 years in prison! Exit Julie. Gabi gulps. EJ assures his client it will not be so long with parole. Gabi now looks up to her brother and notes the judge said she could see Arianna one last time. Rafe tenderly tells her that her little girl is en route. Gabi blinks. - Brady asks doll to go get more shampoo cos she is fresh out. She gushes sure, gives her guy a kiss, and wiggles out. Once they are alone, Brady blasts his granddad, who chastises him for the tacky tattoo. Brady bitterly wonders how he found him. John told him. Brady gets mad. The Greek thunders he missed work yesterday and how about today! Brady sighs it was a hard day yesterday. Victor points out his pal Rafe could have used his support today as his sister is going to prison. And then there is Maggie, whose nephew was murdered. If he does not get his act together, he will fire and disown him! Brady gets glib about his repeated disowning of Philip and tells him to go. Vic threatens to toss him out on his inebriated ass if he does not shape up and storms out. Brady the addict sniffles, feeling sorry for himself. - Gabi talks shame but Rafe thinks the shame is on him. First he let sister Arianna down and now this! Gabi breaks down about how much he had to sacrifice while helping to raise her. Rafe feels she was worth it. She cries she will miss him, then gets distracted by the grand entrance of Will, Sonny, and the baby. Gabi gasps and holds her daughter extra tight, not wanting to ever let her go. - Victor makes his grand entrance into the club. Ben recognizes Sonny's powerful uncle and offers him his special, as per the training manual. While he prepares the coffee, Victor heads for Kate's table and demands an explanation. His sources tell him she recently went on a romantic rendezvous with one Stefano DiMera. Has she lost her senses! Kate pouts. - Will and Sonny and Gabi and the baby are left alone for the final goodbye. Gabi holds her daughter and weeps she will have a wonderful life with her wonderful daddies. Will insists she too is going to be a part of it. Gabi sighs to her squirming daughter she might not have to serve the whole sentence and cries she will miss out on doing important things with her, though she will think of her every minute of every day. Will assures her they are going to talk about her, what a great mom she is. Sonny adds and a great friend. He promises they will visit so often, Gabi might even get tired of seeing them. Will is determined to keep her in their lives. Gabi sobs her baby is her angel, her miracle. How she is going to miss having her in her arms! Will and Sonny try to keep it together. Outside the room, Sami thanks EJ for his hard work. Jordan appears seeking Rafe. He then comes out with Hope and she lets him know she is here to support him. He mutters thanks and they hug. Sami glares daggers at the scene. - Back in the visiting room, Gabi asks the guys to make her a promise. Only Sonny should sing the lullabies, not off-key Will. Sonny appreciates it. Will laughs she is brutal. Gabi admits that she is getting to be more straightforward like Sonny. He muses he is a pain. Gabi disagrees and thanks him for making her face facts. Sonny thanks her for the beautiful baby she brought into their lives. Gabi thinks this was meant to be. She cries she will miss her best friends. Will warns her not to go find another bff cos she has him. Sonny points out him too. Will agrees. ALWAYS. Gabi whimpers and kisses the baby on her head when the guard opens the door. The time has come. - Kate is indignant about Victor's spying. The Greek elaborates. He was spying on Stefano. But how could she fall for the phoenix again! She quips it is not his business. Victor, however, issues her an ultimatum. Unless she reconsiders her relationship with Stefano DiMera, corporate competitor, she risks being fired! Exit the Greek heavy. - Theresa soon comes back and coyly wants to shower with Brady. He stammers he has work but first asks for a hit. She hands him the coke and the shirtless one gets ready to hide in his high yet again ... - Will and Sonny emerge with the baby. Will is holding her. Sami asks how they fare. Will gasps Gabi is being brave. Gabi is now escorted out for transfer. She thanks Sami and EJ for their support, then asks Jordan to remember her promise. She woefully tells Rafe not to shed any tears, she will become a woman he can be proud of. He murmurs she already is. She walks toward her daughter in Will's arms and bids her farewell for now. She sniffles mommy loves her, kisses her, takes one last long look around, and is escorted out by Detective Hope, whose eyes are haunted. Sami covers her upset face with a hand. The group stands in silence. The tension in the air is thick. The pretty baby stares in bewilderment as her mother disappears from view. Sonny stands by woeful Will's side and silently weeps. THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Will learns something about Sonny! It's Friday the 13th and Sami vs. Kate! |
