There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the club, T the attentive server has a tall glass of ale for downtrodden Rafe. Suited EJ takes a seat at Rafe's table and it is about Gabriella. He hands him a copy of her plea deal. Rafe starts to read but wants the bottom line. EJ tells it like it is. Gabi gets 10 to 20 years. The other side seeks to avoid the bad publicity of a trial for their town. EJ adds it is a good deal for murder one. Rafe bitterly disagrees and suggests a jury could sympathize should they go to trial. EJ mutters Gabi's involvement in the abduction of Mel would not work in her favor. Rafe sighs and cannot deny it. EJ assures him he did his very best for this best deal. It goes through tomorrow, provided his sister signs and there is no protest from Nick's family. Rafe realizes EJ wants him to convince his doomed sister to sign said deal and solemnly sips his ale. - Prisoner Gabi has apparently asked Jordan to visit her, via a message from Abe. Jordan arrives but does not understand. Gabi explains she wanted to make sure she would not judge Rafe by her actions. Jordan assures her she does not, nor does she blame her for what happened. Gabi now has a mini meltdown about how this is hurting Rafe the good. It gives her some comfort that he is not alone in life, though. He has Jordan ... - Kissing Paige and shirtless JJ are interrupted by a call from Paige's mama, who as it turns out, is arriving home. Jumpy JJ scrambles to put his clothes back on. Paige panics until she finds out her mom meant she will be home this week ... Paige fibs she will be studying tonight and turning in early. JJ is now wearing a goofy grin as well as his shirt. The call from mom ends. Pretty Paige explains to her boisterous boyfriend that mom's job keeps her on the road. In fact, she has not even come to Salem yet! Once she does, she will decide whether or not they move here for good. Meantime Paige is staying at her cousin's place, an older stunner she thinks JJ would like, though her mom has her doubts about cousin being a good influence. Mom is all about her studying. Bad boy JJ wonders if she even knows she is dating him! - Stubborn Sami follows Marlena into the pub and slams the door just as Nicole informs Eric he knows not the entire story. What story?! Mother and daughter soap stare and wait for an answer. Nicole claims this conversation is private. Marlena is surprised they are even in town. Eric admits to surprised Sami that he and Nicole had intended to elope tonight. But it is now off! Nicole gives him a look of dread. Sami gets miffed he did not tell her about the elopement. Marlena asks if the whole wedding idea is off now too. Eric pauses. - At Horton house, Jen will only say she loves her caring Dan. The girl in pink tries to put off any kind of conversation about her telling Nicole the truth before him. Dan stands firm. Jen diverts her gaze. Dan takes her hands and declares he loves her. In the past, he was not honest but she always was no matter what. He treasured her honesty. He repeats if Nicole had not told Eric the truth, does Jen not think he would have told Eric the truth himself? He awaits her answer. - EJ assures Rafe he wants to do right by his sister. Rafe drinks more ale and drawls he will support her. He thanks EJ for the good deal. Suited EJ adds if she wants to go to trial, he intends to be there fighting for her too. He feels strongly about parents not being separated from their children and says so. Once he goes, T tells Rafe he would like to go see Gabi and he is sorry about what happened. Rafe is sorry about what happened too and stares into space. - Eric warns Sami the smiling twin not to gloat. She gasps she is not doing that. He wants to be aloooone. Marlena and Sami discreetly leave. Nicole begs her holy man to hear her out. He thunders he is finished listening to her! - In a small voice, Jen confesses she still thinks Dan would never have told Eric, hence her springing into action. Dan soap stares. - Pretty Paige insists her mother is aware of them dating. Why, she can call and prove it! However, she did not exactly tell her everything there is to know about JJ. JJ sighs about those drugs and problems with the law. Paige points out she knows her mom will love her one in a million guy. JJ does not stop and wonder about her older cousin. Perhaps he should... - Gabi sobs for Jordan to please take care of her big brother and keep her updated on how he is via email. Jordan nods. But how does she know exactly where she will be in the future? Gabi begs her to promise. They stand up and hug as Jordan promises the desperate girl. - At the square, Marlena accuses Sami of being smug. Sami smiles and denies it. Marlena muses she merely wants her to forget about her Salem river scandal with this diversion. But, as one learns in her line of work, running away from a problem never solves it! Exit Marlena. - Nicole tries to stop Eric from walking away from her and suggests he forgive her. Eric is disgusted. Nicole complains about God thwarting her plans. She innocently adds she was silent as she knew not what to do and reminds him how he used to defend her to his family. No luck. She now talks love. He snaps she lied and lied. Nicole tries to play the ultimate spin, insinuating God made it hard for her to tell him the truth as it was HIS will that she keep her silence. Eric rages her lies were not God's will. Nicole comes at it from another angle. She screams at least she forgave Eric for thinking she was his attacker so why oh why will he not forgive her! - Dan drawls he would have told Eric the truth. Jen does not believe it. Dan insists he was only giving Nicole one more chance. Jen thinks that alley cat always manipulates men. Dan gets defensive about her lack of faith in him. Jen blurts out he has lied for Nicole in the past! - T now visits Gabi. The prisoner is pleased as punch to see her pal. He wishes he could have prevented what happened. She does not want to discuss the drama and asks him about his job. He chuckles her calculus professor was at the club talking to another prof about her arrest. Not approving of the gossip and the judgmental tone of the conversation, T dropped hot sauce on his suit to shut him up. Gabi giggles she loves him. - Rafe is still sipping that ale when Jordan joins him. He updates her on the plea deal, which he knows EJ did a good job on getting. Jordan notes Gabi wanted to see her and she is strong. However, she is concerned about her brother and seemed to fear he would hold himself somehow responsible for what happened because he despised Nick. Rafe does not deny blaming himself ... - Sami starts to text at the square and gasps when EJ approaches. He wonders wot happened and laughs upon learning that Nicole lost her priest. Sami smugly states they are all broken up, unlike them. EJ remembers something, grimaces, and she notices. He sighs Kate lied, she went to Chicago not for business, but to spend time with fatha Stefano. Stunned Sami calls her a witch ... - Nicole argues Eric accused her and his accusation almost killed her! He whispers he knows and hangs his head in shame. She reminds him how he begged for her forgiveness. And she did forgive him! She believed him when he stated God loved her and wanted her to be a good and honest woman. But that was not the real reason she forgave him. She forgave him because she realized he needed it. Now she too needs forgiveness! - Dan explains he and Rafe were trying to help Nicole hide her pregnancy from EJ, hence that lie. Jen points out there was another lie. He admits he did play along that he and Nicole were an item to get Eric to let them investigate. Jen petulantly points out there is a pattern. Nicole makes him lie but she never does the right thing as promised! There is this ... hold she seems to have on him. Dan is dismayed and asks Jen if she actually believes he is in love with Nicole. - Cutesy music plays as Paige gushes tonight was fun though too fast. She blushes and JJ gets it. She suggests they go slow. They hold hands and JJ agrees with a goofy grin. Paige smiles tonight was great, except for his fight. They share a sweet kiss, and he walks out with a sigh. - Jordan cannot believe Rafe actually blames himself. He could not have gotten Nick to withdraw. Nick made people mad. Why even brother Ben could not stand him after he witnessed him hounding frightened Abigail. Rafe frowns. Jordan suggests Nick may have provoked people as he wanted to end it all on some level. Rafe sighs maybe. Jordan stands up and coyly commands him to come with. She can make this all better. - Sami gasps Kate cannot live with them at the mansion! EJ, however, is more preoccupied with Kate's preoccupation with them. He fears she will try and turn fatha against their union. Sami rages if she tries to stop their wedding, then she will KILL her! - Eric turns away as Nicole continues to craftily state her case. Whatever happened to charity and kindness and such? Now it is her turn to ask for forgiveness so why not? Eric slowly turns back and finally spits out the three words she longs to hear. I FORGIVE YOU. - Jen does not think Dan loves Nicole. Dan gets himself all worked up about her then questioning his morality. The conversation continues to go around in circles. When Jen admits she is not convinced he would have gone to Eric against Nicole's wishes, he becomes exasperated. Jen adds they will never know ... - T and Gabi's time comes to a bittersweet end when the burly police guard comes back. She thanks him for being there. T faithfully promises to go wherever she is and see her again. Gabi admits she regrets how things got messed up for them. She should have told him how she felt! T hopes for a hug and gets one. She is the girl who got away and he is the guy who would have made her genuinely happy. Alas fate had other plans in store .... - Jordan insists she can make it all better. Rafe thinks that is not possible. Furthermore, he would rather be aloooooooone. Pause. Jordan stammers she will see him tomorrow, kisses him on the cheek, and woefully walks out. Rafe does not even bother to glance in her direction. - EJ sits Samantha down and urges her to watch wot she says in a public place. Sami is still incensed about Kate. EJ promises his flustered fiancée that nothing will succeed in stopping their wedding, not fatha, not anyone! He holds her close and she rests her head against him with a smile. - Nicole gives Eric a hopeful look. He forgives her?! He gasps it has been a struggle. However, her forgives as God demands but he will never ever forget! He climbs the stairs to his room. Nicole breaks down at the bar. - Jen gasps that she loves Dan and honesty is important. Dan is hurt. He laments he assumed Jen knew him but now he is not sure she even knows him at all, which means he might not know her either! Jen gasps pleeease. He gasps he cannot stay and walks out the door. Jen calls after him to stay and talk things out but he leaves her standing alone outside the Horton front door, wide-eyed, wistful and ALONE. THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Gabi bids her final goodbyes, to Rafe, Will, Sonny, and Arianna. Get the tissues ready! |
