JJ is tackled and taken to the station by a cop and undercover man. JJ is indignant. He is hauled into a room where Roman awaits. He assumes he is about to be arrested for fighting and drinking but he is assuming wrong ... At the pub Eve pours over Laura Horton's thick file. The family has a history of mental illness and she intends to exploit it by drugging Jenny and having her committed. Tis a cruel scheme but not taking place today. Today is a day for Eve to come face to face with karma ... Paige is ready to go on her "date" with an older man by the name of Donald. She calls Daphne to join them ... Detective Hope calls Victor. She would like to ask him some questions about Zander. Victor is cordial and cooperative. He will see her at the house later. He gets off the phone and hisses to Zander he will NOT be here for this is their final farewell ... Eric urges Serena to get Zander to admit to what he had done and record it on her phone to be used as proof. It is an ambitious plan. Serena hesitates. Eric accuses her of not meaning it when she claimed she would do anything for him. Serena solemnly predicts her death from such an attempt ... At the door Dan woefully wonders why Nicole does not want to move in. She flashes back to her moment with Eric ... She appreciates how Dan wants to protect her. He laments he loves her and promises no pressure. She agrees to spend one night only at his apartment, no more. Nicole is fatigued from her ordeal and longs to feel safe from Zander the loon, who is still on the loose ... Daphne meets Paige and her older date Donald at the town square. They lunch and he leers like a lech. Daphne immediately calls Eve to come save her daughter. Eve is on her way ... Victor wonders how Zander has avoided arrest. He boasts he had an airtight alibi. He assures uncle there is no traceable link between them and looks forward to being reinstated in the family. Victor orders him out and to stay away unless he sends for him. Zander politely departs, calling him sir. Maggie appears and is aghast Victor let that murderer into their stately home. The redhead in the pink outfit wants answers ... Dan pleasantly prepares his bedroom for Nicole, noting he will take the guestroom. But he gets close and says all the right things ... Victor the Greek grimaces he summoned Zander. Maggie wants to know why. So does Detective Hope, who has just arrived. He pleasantly points out he DISOWNED the nasty nephew and plays the role of the unimpressed patriarch who was unaware Zander had gone from troubled youth to terror. Hope clearly has her doubts, however... Serena suggests she still work with Eric. He gasps he wants nothing to do with her and grimly goes ... JJ is introduced to DEA Agent Watts, who has been watching him. They need his help. Roman concurs ... Vision in red Marlena visits Eric at his apartment, concerned how he fares. He is fine but furious about Zander, whom he has already confronted. Marlena is even more concerned he went near the dangerous one. She is also sorry about Serena. Eric snaps everything was a lie but Marlena believes the girl's feelings for him were real ... Serena has the misfortune of meeting up with Zander outside. He intimidates and taunts her. She hisses he should not walk free after what he did. He berates her for only being bitter because Eric saw her for what she was and leaves her to ponder ... Daphne texts Paige, pretending to have forgotten her wallet. Paige politely steps away. Old lech Donald is still at their square table. Eve arrives and tries to warn him away from her daughter. He leers and blackmails her for ten thousand dollars. Otherwise he is taking her daughter on a road trip to Atlantic City. A trip from which she might never return ... Commissioner Roman confirms to cross JJ that the Salem P.D. and DEA have joined forces to go after the mysterious kingpin whose tentacles have terrorized their good city with the most drugs ever seen ... The DEA wants JJ to go undercover with them, since pusher Kyle already wanted to hire him. JJ snaps he has no police training. Watts promises to help him learn on the job. JJ says NO to being a narc despite their pleas to save the innocents out there. Still smarting from being tackled and carted off, JJ leaves after agreeing to say nothing to anyone. Roman is disappointed. Watts gives Jump Street JJ his card just in case ... Eric continues to flashback to Nicole, who continues to flashback to Eric. However, Dan is making her feel secure and this is what she has always wanted ...They kiss ...One thing leads to another and they end up in his big bed ... Eve has no cash so she pawns her favorite bling ring that was a gift from her father. She hands the creep the cash and he cackles when Paige returns, handing her her cut. Eve is stunned her own daughter set her up ... Donald departs. Mean girl Paige is smug her mother now knows how it feels to be lied to by a loved one. Eve is sorry. Paige adds insult to injury by announcing she will donate the cash to Jen's favorite veterans charity. She snarls to stay out of her life and stomps off ... Back at the mansion Maggie appeals to Victor to make use of his various resources to help the police lock up dangerous Zander. She implores him and he plays along ... Dan is asleep with Nicole at his side. This is what she says to him in her mind ... Nicole on Dan and Eric Eric gets an unexpected call from lovestruck leopard lady Serena. She announces she is IN, she is ready to help him bring down Zander once and for all, just like he wanted! He raises his handsome head in holy triumph ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Abigail has got competition! Victor and Stefano confer about Clyde. Rafe and Hope's new closeness is noticed. Will wants to paint another picture of "perfect" Paul. |
