Just off his shift, JJ runs into Eric outside the pub. Eric heard the custody case is not going well. JJ fears it will blow up in Theresa’s face ... At the loft Claire leans on Tripp. They helped each other through and she kisses him. He gasps and stops ... At the station Hope decides to go find Ciara. Rafe heads out with her and he has an idea ... At the cabin Ben numbly notes he might be a killer. Ciara knows he would not hurt her. However she is afraid and he is scary without meds. He mumbles this might be the real him ... In court Eve cannot deny she accused Brady of killing Deimos. Ted argues he planted the amulet in her room and the real killer had the amulet. Eve stammers she never saw Brady put it there. Justin gets his turn and gives her the chance to insist. She does not believe Brady Black killed Deimos. Theresa hangs her head in soap shame. Brady looks uneasy as Madam Judge calls a recess. The court is ominously silent. Out in the hall Theresa tells Ted he went too far. Now Brady will hate her! Ted explains it was the only way for her to win custody ... Justin admits to Brady and Eve this is bad and they need to counter Ted’s bold brazen move. He suggests Brady testify he knows not who killed Deimos if that is the truth. Brady pauses as ominous music plays ... Claire stammers sorry, she was stressed. Tripp gets it. She laments she feels lost and yearns to feel safe. She is aware he cares for Ciara not her. Tripp tells her she is looking for comfort. She confesses not exactly ... Hope and Rafe are waiting. Hope has her doubts about the psycho. Enter creepy Clyyyyyyde in cuffs. He quips she never sent him a thank you card for helpin Will with Rolf. Hope replies she is here about Ben if he knows where he is. Matter of fact he does ... Ciara urges sweaty Ben to stay calm. He hallucinates she is chained to the bed and gasps he must have done it. Ciara tells him he did not. He hallucinates Clyde accusing the girl of lying the same way “sluuuuuuuut” Abigail did. Ben gives Ciara a strange look, now betrayed by his own mind ... JJ in EMT uniform sits with Eric at the pub and points out Theresa tried to do the right thing. Eric thinks she should go stay with her parents in L.A. since JJ has enough on his plate. JJ feels alright about his own recent drama but Lani was in a bad way when he saw her. He thinks Theresa needs his help as Brady wants to make her lose her son forever. He likens it to what happened to Lani ... As Brady is questioned by Justin he insists he was nowhere near Deimos when he was murdered and Victor can vouch for him. Ted adds Deimos died early in the morning so could Victor vouch for him then? Brady gets sarcastic. Ted now suggests since Eve had the amulet she must have murdered Deimos. Brady snaps she was with Chloe, whom Ted calls unreliable. He dredges up Eve’s past and alludes to the fact that she had the amulet the whole time. Brady blurts out no cos he set her up by planting it in her room ... Claire lets Tripp know she always had feelings for him even when she was with Theo. He always saw the best in her. She knows he wants Ciara now and innocently wonders whether her feelings are only one sided ... Clyyyyyyyyde claims Beaaaaaaan is in the sanitarium. Rafe reminds him he was released. Clyde knew not and asks if he is better. Hope sadly states he might have snatched Ciara ... The Clyde hallucination tells Ben that Hope’s daughter is only using him while working for her mama to send him back to the sanitarium. This is a set up! Ciara insists this is only his imagination and reaches for her phone. Clyde holds up a necktie and tells Ben he has to take care of this ... Back at the pub Eric shakes his head. Brady and Theresa should have worked out a custody arrangement. He decides he should talk to Brady and JJ should reason with Theresa before it explodes ... Ted grills Brady, who admits he accidentally found the amulet. Brady flashes back to coming across it in Eric’s room but lies he does not remember. Ted does not believe it and has no more questions ... Claire slyly wonders whether Tripp’s feelings for her remained. Tripp thinks she could be right but now he wants to be with Ciara. They have to find her so he can make everything right ... Clyde is smug as a bug there is no record of Ben visiting him. Rafe quips he could have found a way. Clyde taunts talk to Jordan. Rafe asks if he can reach Ben. Hope assures him if Ben did nothing wrong he will not be in any trouble. She asks for a public appeal. Clyde boasts he is always in the boy’s head. He grins payback is a bitch cos he ain't helping. Hope lunges at the s.o.b so Rafe holds her back. Meanwhile Ben tells fake Clyde he cannot strangle Ciara. Clyde says to start a fire from which she will not escape. Ben now sees Ciara holding her phone. Clyde cries out she is calling her mama. Ben turns toward her so she produces the knife and screams STAY AWAY ... Justin will do his best for Brady but it does not look good. Eve is at his side. Theresa approaches and apologizes. She blasts Eve for not protecting Brady with a lie. She would have! Brady warns her her lying ways led him to Eve. She scoffs he chose the wrong sister and steps away ... Tripp invites Claire to come help him put up Ciara fliers. She would rather work the social media angle. He is sorry about ... she tells him she is tough. But when he goes her blue eyes mirror her hurt ... Rafe is now sorry he stopped Hope when she attacked Clyde. He has her back as well as Ciara’s always ... Ciara reasons to Ben she is telling him the truth. There is no Clyde here, he is in his head! Ben is bewildered as Clyde keeps hounding him. Ciara tells him to take her hand and feel it is real. He does just that and sits down with her. She assures him they are alone. Ben looks back and sighs since there is no Clyde. She was right. Ciara gives him a sympathetic look. She blames the chemical imbalance and insists he go get his meds. Ben thanks her, agrees and then stands up. She tells him she will be here waiting, she could not even leave if she tried. Ben is sorry he spooked her. She is glad she got him over it. He praises her talking down skills and goes. Ciara takes a deep breath ... JJ gets home to eating Theresa, who is in a bad humor. He heard about Brady’s counter suit and suspects today was not successful. She sighs not exactly ... Brady returns to his room with Eve and sighs on the bed. She assures him they shall overcome. She thinks the past is the past. He asks her if she thinks he killed Deimos. She suspects Victor. Brady confirms Vic broke Xander out of prison to do the job but it was someone else who did it. Eve asks if Victor did it. She also asks how he came to have the amulet. Brady confesses he got it from the one who really did kill Deimos ... Ciara tries to be brave. Ben will get better from his meds. He would never harm her. She touches her sore leg and lies back, falling fast asleep ... JJ cannot believe Theresa’s lawyer tried to blame Brady for killing Deimos. Theresa babbles if he is sent to prison it is all her fault ... Eve is stunned since Brady seems to be protecting Deimos’ real killer. She demands a name. Eric has just arrived outside the door ... Back at the station Hope ends a call with watch command. Still no Ciara sighting. Rafe decides to try and check her phone. It is ON and they pinpoint her location. Meanwhile Ciara wakes up to a burning cabin from which she cannot escape. The flames and smoke come faster by the second and she has no way out! STAY TUNED! |
