There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! Brady explains to the lady judge he has a witness willing to testify that Theresa is unfit. Theresa disagrees. Brady snaps he has been Tate’s sole parent for the past two years. The judge is willing to hear the testimony of Chloe. Theresa cringes ... At the station Hope ends a call with instructions to stall Ben and call the cops should he return to refill his prescription. Enter Eric with bags of food from the cancelled 4th of July celebration from him and Roman. He asks about any leads on Ciara. Hope sadly states she has one ... Rafe is at the loft with Tripp and CLAIRE, asking if they heard anything in the background when they spoke to Ciara on the phone. Negative. Rafe refers to her possible duress. Did she sound afraid? Claire worries what they mean. Rafe admits they believe she is with Ben ... Cussing Ben returns to the cabin looking stressed. Ciara is still on the bed with her busted leg and asks if he is alright. He gasps no and they have both got a big problem ... As Justin questions Chloe, the tale emerges of Theresa leaving her behind and telling no one she was being held against her will. Thankfully Lucas sent P.I.’s John and Paul to find her. She tells the court that Theresa called to tip off her dangerous captor and they were almost killed by Mateo and his men ... Ben has no more meds and the place where he wanted to get a refill is crawling with cops, who have an APB on him. He thunders this is all Ciara’s fault ... Sneaky Ted now gets his turn to “take care” of Chloe. He smoothly reminds her she had first believed the singing offer from Mateo was a dream come true. She explains she was forced to write the letter she left behind. He asks why she believes Theresa was responsible for her welfare as Theresa herself was a prisoner as well. Chloe notes Theresa did not try and help her. He asks if anyone can corroborate her claim that Theresa admitted it. He gets sarcastic about the only witnesses being Brady, John and Paul, who are all family and more sarcastic about her alibi for Eve when she was accused of killing Deimos. He goes on to remind her that she carried a baby for Nicole Walker and lied in that child custody case so she could keep the baby ... Hope senses Ciara is stuck with Ben, who was paid off to leave town by Chad. He left Ben in the same vicinity and a nearby boot print could have belonged to Ben. Ciara said a man had rescued her and sounded hurt but her savior never took her for medical help. Eric tries to keep calm but Hope gasps he has not gotten his prescription refilled. She fears he is off his meds and losing his mind ... Ben rages to Ciara, who assures him she did not do anything. He rages he needs his meds. Ciara believes Hope found her bike and knows they are together. She can call her and let her know she is alright. Ben begs to differ and snatches away the phone ... Ted reminds Chloe and the court how Brady went on the run with his son and put them in danger. He feels Brady is a flight risk and tries to put the words in Chloe’s mouth. When she protests he ends his questioning ... Claire is certain Ciara would go nowhere with Ben. She did not seem off on the phone. Rafe thinks that sounds promising since it means she might not be with Ben ... Ben panics Hope will send him back to the sanitarium. Ciara promises it will not happen. However, they need supplies and he is supposed to check in with his doctor. He hyperventilates he is fine. Ciara assures him he can trust her. He explodes to SHUT UP. Ciara starts to fear the worst case scenario since the Ben she knows and trusted is certainly not the side she is now seeing ... Justin gets his turn to question the witness and lets Chloe explain she understands why Theresa is upset but she has a son with no father and he misses him. She thinks Theresa should not get custody cos she is not considering what is best for a boy who needs his father ... Ben would have taken Ciara to the hospital before and warns she will not leave now. She glumly states she does not even want to. Ben gets angrier by the minute ... Brady apologizes to Chloe for the tough questions. She wanted to help and goes on her way. He now thanks Justin, who hopes what he did will be enough. Back in the courtroom Theresa praises Ted and hopes she will win. Ted takes one last try and asks about shared custody. She cannot cos she knows how hard it is for a child to be shuffled. Ted boasts he has one more trick up his sleeve. Meantime Justin alludes to turning this around with a surprise witness. Brady and Eve wait with bated breath because they know they are now not winning ... At the club Eric has extra food from the July 4th that did not happen. He can see Chloe is stressed. She sighs she had to take sides and it was ugly ... Justin suggests they get Tate himself to give a statement. Brady refuses. Eve reasons Tate would be able to tell the judge he wanted to be with him. Brady cannot put his boy in the middle. Eve calls him selfless and a man with unconditional love. Clearly he deserves full custody ... At the station Hope tosses some papers as she remembers her last call with Ciara. Rafe notes they have nothing new. Hope blames herself for not being there for her. Rafe praises her warm heart and kindness. He loves her! He promises Hope they will find her daughter and they hug ... Claire hyperventilates to Tripp, who tries to get her to calm down ... Ciara assures Ben she is not cuffed to the bed. He starts to snap, rages at her for being like the others, and grabs his knife. This is not good ... Ted calls Eve to the witness stand. Brady squeezes her hand. She swears to tell the truth. Ted notes she is now engaged to her sister’s once fiancé. He acts concerned about Brady’s affairs. He claims Brady was technically engaged already when he became engaged to her and brings up her stealing the boyfriend of her late daughter ... Back at the club Chloe admits to Eric that Theresa’s lawyer brought up the history when she kept Holly from Nicole but that was then this is now. Eric asks if they have been in touch ... Ted suggests weeping widow Eve benefited from her secret relationship with Deimos and reminds her of the amulet ... Chloe is sorry to report to Eric she has not heard a peep from Nicole. He suspects Brady was behind her leaving the way she did. Chloe notes he is now with Jen but can see he wants to know the truth about what could have been ... Ted rehashes Brady planting the amulet on Eve and how she suggested the focus change to Mr. Black, whom she implied had killed her late husband. Eve shakes her head as Theresa smugly soap stares ... Claire is sorry she freaked out and thanks Trip for being there. He feels the same and they suddenly kiss ... Hope thanks Rafe, who reasons there is no other place he would rather be. Hope now gets a call. Ben did not check into his doctor. She fears he has gone off the radar as he has Ciara ... Back at the cabin, Ben asks Ciara why she has a knife. She notes he gave it to her for protection. He numbly warns he just might be the natural born killer everyone believes. Scary music plays ... STAY TUNED! |
