These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Adrienne teases T at the club for having to work. She will tell Sonny not to make him work when she sees him at the picnic. T tells her he does not think Will and Sonny are going. This is the first Adrienne has heard of it! - At their apartment, Will and Sonny discuss the Sami drama. Will sighs she is suffering because of EJ and they sip their morning coffee. - At Horton house, Jen and Abigail discuss the lawsuit. Jen is surprised that JJ already went out. - JJ meets pretty Paige at the park to discuss the lawsuit but she is more preoccupied and pouts about her Aunt Theresa! - Eve calls petulant Theresa as she sits with Anne at the pub, somewhat peeved that Brady was busy with a conference call to China despite the American holiday. Eve wants to talk. Theresa snaps wait until the 5th and hangs up. Anne wonders. Theresa grumbles about her witch sister. Anne is especially interested that the evil sis is anti-Jen, but sympathetic she dared to flirt with Theresa’s billionaire heir Brady ... - At the square, Eve spies Dan with little Parker and flirts up a storm. Casual Dan is friendly enough, albeit distant. Parker is speechless. The invisible banshee starts to moan in the background. Eve praises papa Dan the single dad, who points out he is in fact not a single parent. Eve had assumed he was single. The banshee moans loudly. Aaaaaaaaaa! - Jen assumes JJ is with Paige. Abigail explains he is coming to the picnic still and assumes she is bothered about the lawsuit. Jen has other things on her mind and wonders why Abigail the maid of honor did not call Sami and offer her support this morning, given that EJ was arrested just after the wedding. The news has spread like wildfire. Abigail frowns. - Adrienne states at least Jen and Abigail will be at the picnic and happily goes on her way. Ben teases T, who announces his new date Jody will be at the picnic. Ben grins and decides to go as well, now that he knows the fair Abigail will be in attendance ... - Paige and JJ pout about Theresa being her annoying aunt. JJ is no fan and avoids her like the plague. Paige suspiciously and unhappily demands to know how far they went ... JJ looks guilty as sin. - Dan clarifies for his curious patient. He and his ex share custody and she lives out of town. Now he is off to take his boy to the zoo, to meet Maggie. The banshee moans oh yeaaaaaaah as Eve invites the medicine man for a drink to discuss her ... surgery. - Theresa implies Eve is a man eater. Anne laughs she sounds like her, then shows a couple of tickets for a party ... Theresa jumps up when she spies Caroline banging around the pub trying to find her keys in a frenzy. They are on the counter and Caroline is grateful that Theresa finds them, though she hates forgetting. Theresa smiles to call her anytime she needs to find something. And she means it. - Paige is disgusted that JJ was with the older woman. JJ tells the truth, that she almost ODed and they were getting hot and heavy, though they never went all the way. Paige thinks it feels too weird. JJ argues Theresa is a bad woman. Paige is not that well acquainted with her aunt, whom her mom loathes. Her mother ordered her to steer clear of her. JJ thinks her mom was right. Theresa is a crazy control freak. Thank God Dan saved him from her ... - Dan explains he is not feeling social, having just ended a relationship. He also made up his mind to never cross the line of getting involved with a patient again. He smiles and Eve assures him she understands. He grins to make an appointment for anything medical and leads Parker away. The background banshee moans. Eve is peeved. - Abigail snaps she and Sami are not friends. Jen finds it all odd and wonders what has her daughter so stressed out. - Adrienne pays a visit to Will and Sonny at the apartment and gives Will a pep talk about Sami’s situation. She realizes how much the wedding meant to her. Sonny teases her for being suddenly supportive. Adrienne insists they are family and family supports family. Now about that picnic! - T has a big box of buns and intends to win the hotdog eating contest at the picnic. Ben is amused that T thinks he will win with the perfect buns. - Jen asks if it was tough being in the very same house where Chad lived. Abigail gasps Chad was a lifetime ago. Jen urges her to sit and suspects she is stressed from having witnessed EJ's arrest. Abigail acts like she cares not and quips Sami should not have been surprised. The dastardly DiMeras are cold hearted and lie and hurt the one they claim to love. Now she wants only to move on with people who truly care. Jen worries. Her demurely dressed daughter announces she has one more thing to attend to before meeting her at the lake. Once outside the front door, Abigail makes an important call. She has somewhere to go, someone to see, something to make right! - As they walk on the grass, Sonny is carrying the blue picnic basket which matches Will's bright blue t-shirt. Will is carrying Arianna with one hand, pushing her stroller with the other. Friendly Adrienne follows, her outfit as yellow as the sunshine above. They are the picture of a happy family despite the recent drama affecting Will. Today is the 4th of July, after all. Will loves the colorful swimsuit Adrienne got his baby girl and goes to put sun block on her so she can splash in the water with the other noisy kids. Sonny sets the picnic table. Abe appears with Theo, excited about having the fire started. Sonny is starving. Abe misses Justin, who is making a Dubai deal. Adrienne promises the pasta salad cos he gave her the recipe. Ben and T appear with T's perfect buns. Adrienne holds the baby so the guys can go play softball. T and Ben are taking on Will and Sonny. Single guys against married guys! T tells Adrienne to let him know when Joanne comes. Ben is bemused. He could have sworn T referred to his date as Jody ... - Anne, aka the queen of mean, marches out of the pub. Caroline invites Theresa to the fireworks tonight. She agrees when Theresa suggests she invite Brady. But Caroline notices her long face and wonders what has got her feeling down ... - JJ claims Theresa was a mistake and he is not that dummy anymore. Paige decides to believe him. JJ adds the girl he lost his virginity to was NOT Theresa. He sighs he wishes he could change the past. Will she ever be able to get past this? Eve appears and sarcastically dares JJ to keep talking. JJ touches Paige's arm, hopes she will come to the picnic, and walks off. Eve questions them spending time together. Paige admits her head is spinning. Eve tells her to go be with the boy then. - At the picnic, Jen admires the pretty baby on Adrienne's lap as Abe chuckles and goes off to attend to the fire. Worried dad Will returns to see if she needs a t-shirt. Adrienne goes to get it out of the bag. Jen is sympathetic about what happened to Sami, as Abigail had told her. Will appreciates it and wonders where his cousin is at the moment. - Abigail shows up at Dan's place to end this impasse with her mother. Dan insists this is not about them not caring. Abigail thinks Dan the man is the one to help her mom with this new problem! Dan is puzzled. - The shirtless guys emerge from the lake with Theo and a beach ball. Will and Sonny beat team T and Ben at softball. T insists his team at least won at basketball. Sonny praises T for his winning underwater shot. Sonny and Theo head off in search of ice cream. Ben makes for the grill and something hot. T says to tell him if he sees his now late date Judy. Will is surprised but T is convinced her name is Judy now. He and Will jump back in the water. Shirtless Ben politely introduces himself to Jen, who gushes Abigail said so many nice things about him, how supportive he was. She loves her kids making friends who look out for them. JJ appears. - Abigail refuses to divulge any details, only that her mom really needs Dan and she is at the lake. Exit Abigail. Dan considers. - Jen turns to JJ and asks about Paige. JJ looks jumpy. - Abe has been summoned to the station. Will is curious if it concerns the EJ case. Abe is not at liberty to discuss police business. Will takes Abe to find his son, who is now busy with softball. T admits to Ben he is too full for that hotdog contest and wonders where his date Jolene is. Ben muses he said Joanne once upon a time. Buff Ben is enjoying his burger as T complains about the lack of text service. Abigail arrives and T teases that big Ben came just for her. Abigail smiles at shirtless rippling Ben and they wave to each other. - Back at the pub, Theresa mentions Eve being in town. Caroline exclaims this is the first she heard of it. Theresa knows some stories about her and Frankie. Caroline sighs at least he is free of that one! Theresa worriedly wonders which one is worse - herself or Eve. Caroline assures her that Eve is the evil one and there is no comparison. Theresa is not even close! Theresa tearfully embraces her grandmother. - Eve thinks today is about fun. In two months her daughter is leaving for college so this should be the best summer of her life! She sends her off to the lake and promises they will celebrate later tonight. Paige gushes she is the best mom. Eve muses she cannot guarantee Jen will be understanding as she is about her and JJ ... - At the picnic, Abigail is elusive about where she was with Jen and JJ. - Dan calls Maggie and arranges to meet her and Parker in a few at the petting zoo. He now flashes back to the night he had the champagne ready, the night him and Jen got back together. Then he remembers breaking up with her, claiming time apart and takes off, a man on a soap mission ... - T plays with baby Arianna as Will, Sonny, and Adrienne gather round and giggle. Jen and JJ admire the sweet scene. Jen appears pleased when Paige arrives and greets her with enthusiasm. T is standing Ari up and recalls how Gabi was a wreck last year this time. Adrienne assures the guys they gave Gabi all the support they could. Paige admires the little princess. Adrienne praises how Arianna has gotten through the tough time thanks to Sonny and Will. And that is what they should hold onto. The double dads are touched ... - Ben now has his red shirt on and sits with demure Abigail. They discuss the drama at the wedding. Ben claims he was not surprised cos no one can trust that EJ DiMera and Abigail sure shouldn't! - Theresa tries to get rid of Eve outside her apartment door but Eve drops a bombshell about suing Jenny. Now she has her full attention!. Theresa the terrible invites sis in and wants to know all about it! Eve explains for now she must stay mum but rest assured, she will she get what she deserves and so will that Jenny Horton! Theresa tells her to expect all her backup standing behind her, including Dan her surgeon boyfriend. Why, Eve had no idea those two were an item! Theresa laughs. Were? - Jen gets a call from Theo, who apparently lost the flag pin from his shirt. Ben and Abigail offer to go and search where he was last seen playing softball. Jen ushers the young couple off and then looks around the yellow flowers. Success! She finds the flag pin. Dan the man comes up behind her and murmurs happy Independence Day. Jen turns with a sweet smile. He explains he was told he should be worried about her. She alludes to him wanting to be her white knight again yet she would rather not discuss her problem. All she wants is him back in her life! - Elsewhere JJ and Paige tell each other their moms seem to be taking their togetherness better than expected. They agree to leave the past in the past and share a kiss. - Eve informs Theresa that Dr. Dan is supposed to do surgery to remove some nodes on her vocal chords. She saw him at the square earlier and he alluded to ending a relationship recently. They enjoy their white wine and Theresa is elated Dan dumped Jenny. They toast to her terrible year and the background banshee moans yeaaaah yeaaaaah ... - Dan gets a text from Maggie, who is waiting with Parker at the zoo. Jen suggests he go and so he does. Jen now stands sadly alone. The rest of the sun-kissed picnickers sit and wait. T sighs Jillian stood him up. Just then SARA his date shows up. Adrienne gushes it is going to be a great summer. Sonny enthusiastically agrees and drapes his arm around Will. Paige sits with JJ. Abigail is with Ben. T is with date Sara. All gaze up in wonder as the fireworks begin. Snap Crackle Pop KABOOM!
