There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - At the town square, Salem High graduates pose for pictures. JJ is in his blue grad gown and cap as Maggie happily snaps a photo of mother and son. Jen gushes she had no doubts her son would succeed. JJ thanks her for believing and they exchange a heartfelt hug. Nearby pretty Paige watches. Abigail comes running, fashionably late with a very valid excuse. Maggie blames Sami but Abigail gasps the mayhem at the wedding was because of EJ, who got arrested! - In Hope's office, Rafe confirms to the curious detective that he arrested EJ after he said I do to Sami and not before ... - Sami waits at EJ's jail cell, as he announces he knows who has set him up. Stefano was the culprit! Who else could it have been! He curses and rages the hypocrite wanted to keep him out of the board meeting. Visibly relieved Sami agrees his father is hurtful. EJ suspects he has long wanted to publicly humiliate him. Sami suddenly gasps Oh my God. EJ snaps WOT. Sami stammers Kate must have encouraged him, which means they have to fight both Stefano and Kate as husband and wife. She forces a few tears for dramatic effect. EJ seems to soften at the sight of the woman he loves weeping. - Hope finds the timing of the lengthy tip odd. Rafe cares not cos DiMera got caught. Hope removes her glasses and gives Rafe a look. Rafe realizes she suspects HIM of trying to stop the Sami wedding. She assures him she is not accusing him. Rafe wonders about the timing too and points out Stefano is holding his annual board meeting soon. He sips his coffee. - Eve is with graduate Paige, who wants to say hi to the Hortons. Eve smugly states they appear to be in crisis mode and Jen always lost it in a crisis. Paige’s pal is surprised she is familiar with JJ’s mom from the past ... Abigail apologizes to the Horton clan for her late arrival. JJ just wants to go get his girlfriend Paige to introduce them. Maggie loudly notices Eve Donovan. This is the first JJ has head of Eve being a Donovan ...! The invisible banshee moans in the background. Nearby Rory wants Bev to stop staring at her old high school sweetheart JJ. Time to move on. Bitter Bev snaps to shut up and keeps watching regardless ... Eve and Paige approach the Hortons. Eve insincerely exclaims how happy she is to see Maggie and the two women smile and make nice. Maggie is not pleased to find out she is staying in Salem. JJ and Paige feel the tension between their clans. The banshee moans again. - Marlena has been summoned to the club by somber Roman, who bears good and bad news. Good news - EJ was arrested . Bad News - it was AFTER he and Sami became man and wife. - Sami the set-up queen pretends to agree with EJ that he might manage to get out before the board meeting. She pretends she is afraid of the phoenix's far reaching influence. EJ tenderly touches her fair cheek and urges his beloved not to fret. He will fight for their love and for their family. Sami sniffles like a damsel in distress. EJ, feeling like a strong hero, promises there is no need for tears. Sami sighs if only she had not wasted so much time doubting him. She now knows exactly what kind of a man he is! EJ promises he will not let fatha come between them, kisses her, praises his most beautiful bride, and then raises her small hand to his lips. She twirls around in her wedding dress and he assures her he only has eyes for her. Sami girlishly thanks him. Alas, she must get to the kids. If only there was some way she could heeelp him! She kisses him though the bars, gasping she loves him. EJ melts and whispers I love you as she walks away. Once her back is to him, Sami's expression becomes as cold as ice ... - Hope and Rafe wonder who on the board would want to neutralize Elvis, other than Stefano. Hope now gets a call - another anonymous tip! Things are moving fast ... - Sami is on her way home, happy to hear on her phone that tip number two was made! - Hope and Rafe are ready for another warrant. - Marlena muses state tax evasion? Roman suspects she wanted more. She gets evasive. Roman wonders whether she suspects Sami. Marlena will only say she is worried about Sami as well as the children. She regrets they were not there to show their support. Roman notes they are here now. What a bad beginning to a marriage and it will probably get even worse ... - Rafe appears at EJ's cell and taunts him about his honeymoon. EJ glares daggers at him. - Love struck JJ introduces pretty Paige to Horton matriarch Maggie, who smiles she was so impressed by her speech. Eve gets enthused about the Horton gathering. JJ explains they will have to wait until Doug and Julie return from their cruise. Eve cattily claims they should make reservations at Moulin Rouge, if indeed it even exists anymore. Maggie primly points out it is Chez Rouge. JJ likes the idea. Mama Jen disagrees. Paige hangs her head, Maggie wonders. JJ admits his mom and Eve are having an issue and urges his mom to let it be for a day. Jen grumbles she needs to speak with Aiden. Eve pleasantly points out she had no choice but to sue Jen. JJ asks his mom what the lady means. Abigail also wonders, her eyes as wide as saucers. Jen admits she was served just before they came to graduation. Eve is suing her! Paige gets miffed at her mom. Eve argues Jen was not cooperative and went and got a lawyer. Jen reminds Eve that she was the one who dragged a lawyer into it. The two women state their cases. Eve intends to get what she is owed. Jen intends to honor Jack's wishes. Eve quips they shall see. JJ gets glum. - EJ drawls Rafe looked pathetic trying to crash Samantha's wedding. Rafe drawls he was doing his job. It is not his fault that someone wanted to ruin EJ's big day. EJ claims his big day was not ruined and wants to know who tipped him off. Rafe, however, was referring not to the day of the wedding but the upcoming stockholders meeting for DiMera Enterprises. EJ insists he will make said meeting. - Back at the mansion, Sami shuts all the living room doors, now clad in her black leather mini. She opens Stefano's dark portrait, revealing the secret safe on the wall behind. She remembers EJ showing her the DiMera heirloom rings, how she used her iphone camera to secretly snap the numbers for the combination lock as EJ unsuspectingly unlocked it. In the flashback, EJ comes back with the rings and she admires them. Back to reality. Ponytail Sami gets the safe open with ease, cackling EJ actually used the kids birthdays! She searches inside and finds family passports, money, and then an envelope, Inside is all the evidence he found in the river. Then there are Percy's pictures that incriminated her and Kate and Gabi as they tossed Nick into the river The next envelope is the evidence of Will shooting EJ. Sami smiles, having finished her cleaning. She places the passports and more on the desk. A storm is coming! Ding dong! Sami assumes it is Hope and admires her neat folder on the desk. Imagine her surprise when she opens the door to mama Marlena and papa Roman. This was not in her plans and she gasps what are they doing here?! - Eve acts like Jen is being difficult and ushers her unhappy daughter away. Paige wishes her mom had told her! Eve offers to take her home for a looooong chat. Bev notices the trouble in paradise and wonders what all the commotion is about. - Marlena and Roman are here to help. Marlena asks about the children. Sami admits they went to the arcade with Lucas, so thank heavens they did not have to witness EJ's arrest. She pretends to think the next visitor heard at the front door is the cleaning crew but it is Hope and a cop, bearing a warrant. Harold makes the usual the police are here with a warrant announcement and discreetly closes the door. Hope informs Sami they got another tip, that there was a fire at the house on a hot day. Sami claims she was merely making hotdogs. Hope warns she is getting in deeeeper. Roman wonders whether she needs a lawyer. Roman and Marlena watch with their daughter as Hope takes a look around.Naturally she finds the well placed passports and demands to know if Sami was planning a trip. Sami plays innocent and Hope finds the passports of the kids too. She notes Morocco has no extradition treaty with the U.S. According to their tip, the DiMera jet is all fueled up, with an itinerary to Casablanca! Commissioner Roman tells his daughter to start talking. Sami insists EJ will make fools of the police like he always does. - Paige arrives home with her mother and words are spoken. Mama Eve knows all about that JJ now! - The Hortons return to the house. JJ glumly goes upstairs to change. Abigail calls Eve a beeeech. Maggie thinks she is even worse! Jen agrees and feels sorry for Paige, though she is committed to doing right by her boy. That is her focus. She therefore wishes to keep the matter quiet and asks Maggie to say nothing to Victor or Daniel about Eve's lawsuit just yet. Maggie disagrees. Jen insists it is just a few days. She might be able to get Aiden put a stop to it before it goes public. Maggie agrees to keep her silence and is sorry she must deal with such meanness. Jen thinks they are up for the challenge. Abigail agrees and offers to take Maggie home. Maggie thinks the girl is sweet and they exit together. Jen looks at Jack's picture. JJ comes back downstairs and his mom is sorry about the problems. JJ has a question. Is Eve Donovan related to Theresa??? - Eve recounts JJ's crimes, as told to her by Aunt Theresa, who had a fling with him. Paige pouts and slowly sits down. She sighs he did say there had been a girl. Eve explains Theresa is a woman and she is trouble too! Paige prefers to let the past stay in the past. JJ has changed. Twisted Eve tells her no one ever changes and insists she is the only one who can protect her trusting daughter from the big bad world. - EJ is reading a copy of his arrest report in his cell when Sami shows up, wondering why he did not tell her he was planning to whisk them all out of the country after the wedding. Hope and the cops found everything he left out! EJ mutters he was not planning any such trip and left nothing out. This was the mischief of someone else ... - Hope and Rafe go over the latest evidence against EJ and call it too convenient. - EJ insists he did not even file any flight plan and laments Rafe came by to gloat. Sami calls him a son of a b*tch. EJ suspects Stefano is merely using Hernandez as a pawn. Fatha had his men plant those bogus flight plans so as a flight risk, he will be denied bail. That will keep him out of the board meeting. However, he is not going down without a fight! - Eve steps in the other room when her lawyer calls. The unseen banshee starts to moan. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - Jen confirms Theresa is Paige's aunt, as she and Eve are sisters. JJ gets even more depressed. Jen is unable to cheer him up with talk of his favorite pizza place and heads into the kitchen to see what she can throw together. JJ now knows his mother must hate Eve. He tries to call Paige. She sadly answers with a hi. He tells her how great she looked today. She thinks he looked great too. He asks for a meeting and he has an idea. Paige is hopeful. - Sami suggests Stefano wants complete control of his empire with Queen Kate at his side. He wants to cut EJ out because he married her! - Rafe and Hope continue to question the crazy case. Somehow Stefano seems too obvious a culprit. Rafe sighs he just wishes father and son would destroy each other. Hope has a bad feeling. Something is not adding up ... - EJ assures Samantha she is an asset and their union was the very best decision he ever made. Togetha they will defeat fatha. Sami smiles slyly and promises to do whatever he tells her. What comes next ...? THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Eve makes a pass at Dan. Caroline talks to Theresa.
