What has he done now? Meanwhile at the Kiriakis mansion Eve claims to Victor that she can handle Jen Horton. Speak of the devil! Jen hisses she knows what they did and they will not get away with it ... Eli escorts Lani back to work at the station. Tis her first day back. The girl in blue is ready ... At the square Hope laments to Rafe she let Eve harm Ben. He could have been killed! Rafe understands her hesitation was due to her worry for her daughter. Madam Commissioner is hard on herself. Rafe assures her it is over. Hope, however, fears the attack from Eve could have set Ben off ... Ciara slowly opens her door to Ben and asks why he came. To talk. He tracked her down though not as a stalker. She hesitates. He politely asks for a minute of her time so she lets him in the loft ... Brady suspects Victor meddled in his custody case. Maggie sighs. Knock knock! Brady now opens his door to brother Eric, who would like a word. The former father calls it important... Angry Jen accuses Victor of planting drugs in her son’s apartment. Naturally naughty Victor scoffs and denies everything. Eve squirms when Jen mentions Arturo working for him. Victor suggests Arturo might work for Chad. Jen states Maggie saw him with Arturo. Eve stands and snaps to back off as Victor has a heart condition. Jen’s suspicions turn to her ... Maggie urges Brady to hang in there and departs. Eric now informs Brady that mama Marlena wants their co-walking her down the aisle to help get rid of the bad blood. He wonders whether he believes it could ... As she sits with Rafe at the square Hope decides Abigail might be able to make Ciara see the light about Ben. Rafe counters Ciara will listen to no criticism against him so they need just the facts. Proof positive. Hope woefully agrees and calls Ciara's cell. Ciara texts back she is alright, no more worrying. Ben suggests she take the call but she sighs it is not important. Hope gets the text and gets testy. Rafe ushers her away so together they can start digging up what they need on Ben ... Ciara now hears from Ben that he is searching for a job to pay her back. All of a sudden Claire comes running and whacks him on the head with the frying pan, fearing the worst. Ben goes down! Ciara screams and notes Ben meant her no harm. Then she bends over and asks him if he is alright ... At the station Lani tells overprotective Eli he is sweet. He admits he was angry with himself for not using protection when they had that one night together. He was distraught over JJ and Gabi and had been drinking. All he wanted was to make love to her. Lani is surprised he used the L word. He felt their union counted cos they made a baby together. She agrees it was important. He tells her how he came to care about her and he still does. She cares too and he takes her hand. Enter Hope and Rafe. Rafe welcomes Lani and Eli back. Hope assures her she does not have to start yet. Lani is ready and announces she wants to be here. Hope smiles and welcomes her back where she belongs ... Eric wishes to end the tension with Brady before their folks' wedding and probes the problem Brady and Eve were having. Brady remembers that Nicole killed Deimos but keeps it to himself. He calls Eve passionate and tries to change the subject. Eric apologizes for his bad decisions and wants to clear the air about Nicole. Brady becomes tense ... Jen warns Eve she knows for a fact she was working with Victor to frame Theresa. She threatens to make their sordid secret come crashing down. Eve denies it but Victor exclaims damn right they planted those drugs and they have no regrets. Eve blasts Victor, who sarcastically states Jen has nothing for the cops and pleads guilty to Brady being the better parent to Tate. He grumbles he has got more important things to do and goes ... Eric emotionally explains to Brady they both loved the same woman, hence the blows. He apologizes but Brady wishes he wouldn’t. Eric wants Brady to take a step toward reconciliation but he will have to put Nicole behind them ... Rafe is reading anything connected to the Ben case and complains to Eli that Ciara seems enamored of him. He repeats his regret about Lani losing the baby. He was with Sami when she lost Grace and it was like losing his own. Eli just wants to work so Rafe updates him on the suspicious cabin fire. Rafe feels Ben did it and knows they will be able to lock him up if they find proof. Eli is on it ... Ciara begs Claire to help her get Ben to the couch. Claire counters he belongs in jail so Ciara snaps she attacked him so she could go to jail. She grudgingly helps and protests when Ciara slips a pillow under his head. She fumes he set that fire and calls him a stalking serial killer. Ben stirs. Ciara suggests a hospital. Alas he has no insurance. Ciara tells him to press charges against Claire for assault so Claire withdraws ... Victor summons his beloved Maggie to the club and romantically hands her a rose. She wonders what he did this time. He admits he withheld the truth before but now he will be straight with her ... Eve confirms to Jen that she asked Victor to help but knew not he would plant drugs on Theresa. She is especially sorry JJ took the blame and the framing finished off the almost custody agreement. Jen updates her on JJ being just about in the clear. Eve is elated and assumes then the matter is over. But sanctimonious Jen has something to say! Eve and Victor lied and Brady deserves to know they were the reason he lost custody of Tate ... Hope and Lani look through files to find something on Ben. Lani is ready for the task and wants to help Hope protect her daughter ... Back at the loft, Claire suggests Ciara come to her senses. Ben tries to stand but cannot. Ciara snaps Claire is guilty of assaulting him. Claire storms off refusing to risk strangulation by the notorious necktie killer ... Brady stammers to Eric there is more to the story. Nicole left him a mess. He was badder than bad and bitter, hitting the booze. He wanted revenge. Eric notes he himself was no saint and is sorry for the pain he caused. He has missed his bro. Brady missed him too and they share a macho hug with tears in their eyes ... Eve insists she and Victor only tried to help Brady. Jenny blasts her for the sleazy plan and thinks Brady deserves to know the truth! Eve begs her not to tell him of her involvement. No luck. Eve now stops her by threatening to tell Eric HIS whole truth! Jen has no idea what she means. Eve raises her head slightly, ready to strike ... Eli begins to weep for his lost child at the station. Lani finds him and hopes he is alright. He admits he is not. Lani gets this is about their loss and consoles him with an embrace ... Rafe has coffee for boss lady Hope. Now that Lani and Eli are helping they are confident about nailing Ben. Claire clicks in on her heels and announces Hope’s daughter is harboring a serial killer at home ... Ciara holds ice on Ben’s sore head and he praises her for helping him. She believes he is innocent. He faces her and wonders what the real reason is she keeps helping him. She reminds him he rescued her from her bike crash. Ben is grateful he has her on his side. She is the only one ... Maggie is appalled when Victor admits trying to set up Theresa. He should have stayed out of it! Now Brady lost his son, Tate lost his father and JJ lost his job. The Greek makes light of the temporary problems. The redhead storms off ... Jen wonders whatever Eric has to do with this. Eve announces Nicole broke his heart by leaving town. She suggests if he knew the real reason Nicole left town it could change everything. Jen soap stares ... Brady and Eric are good again. They will walk Marlena down the aisle together. Eric is humbled he accepted his apology. Brady momentarily remembers how he blackmailed Nicole into leaving town and Eric forever. Back to the present. He stops Eric from going, having a sudden crise de conscience ... STAY TUNED! |
