BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Steve is working at the club when Kayla comes in. She hopes he is kidding being a bartender! He smoothly asks what she would like. She argues this was a bad idea. He argues there will be no adventure or danger in his life as long as he tends bar. But Kayla believes he is unable to take orders and will lose his temper. Things will be broken. Steve suggests baby take a seat and takes her hands in his big strong ones. He notes this is his new life. All he wants is to prove himself and win her back ... Joey has joined Jade at the park and pulls out all the stops to get the girl to come home with him for the whole weekend. They get hot and heavy. All of a sudden her raging bull father appears and bellows to get his filthy hands off his daughter! ... At the pub little man Parker and Nicole are talking about his swimming success. He hopes papa Dan knows about it. Nicole asks after his mom. Parker points out she seems not so sad now. Dario arrives with a roguish grin and asks for an introduction. Parker is pleased to meet him and hopes he will join them for chicken fingers one day ... As he stands confronted by John and Brady, Deimos plays dumb about the Chopin group. John speaks a long Greek name that Deimos claims is a common name. John eyes him with suspicion. He and Brady add this man has an import export business in Greece. Still Deimos still plays dumb so John shows him the old photograph where he was standing with the Greek mobster in question. Brady awaits his explanation ... When Fynn's name casually enters the conversation, Steve insists he knows that Kayla only wants HIM. He intends to prove to her that he can change. Kayla suspects it would not last - for Steve follows the creed of the soap hero ... Joey introduces himself and declares he cares for Jade but the raging bull father blames him for making her break the law. The girl gets nervous and he grabs for her to take her home. Joey defends her and shouts don't touch her ... Deimos drawls if he did biz with this man it was over 30 yrs ago when HE was legit. He plays dumber but John is no fool! He suggests he come clean. Brady reminds Deimos he was responsible for poisoning Maggie as well, so his reputation precedes him. Deimos thunders he would never harm an innocent child as they have implied ... Theresa LIVES so relieved but scared Summer writes a note and takes off with her suitcase. She leaves her lying on the floor ... Deimos drawls don't waste your time and adds he hopes Brady finds his son soon. Before they depart Brady threatens to kill him if he has lied to him ... All of a sudden Theresa wakes up. She frantically calls Brady that Summer attacked her and took off. Brady and John race from the Kiriakis garden ... Steve now admits he is worried about Joe avoiding him. His calls are ignored. Kayla is concerned about his closeness to Jade. Steve suggests she play it cool to avoid more conflict. He will keep calling him. Kayla now complains Joey still has crying nightmares about Ava. Steve gets worried. She shares she made him an appointment with Marlena for tonight ... Joey accuses the dad of making Jade miserable and the dad gets rough with him. Fynn to the rescue ... As Theresa tells Brady they simply have to find Summer, Maggie spies her at the square with her suitcase. She senses she is leaving Salem ... Victor visits Deimos at the mansion that was once his and announces he is accepting his offer. Deimos is smug as a bug ... Jade tries to talk to her burly father, who is still belligerent. Joey says not to but they leave together. Fynn reminds him he is still on bail and suggests they discuss the drama over a cup of coffee ... Theresa tells Brady her side of the story. He is utterly horrified. She assumes Summer fled as she is guilty and wants her tracked down now! Brady believes she needs a hospital. Theresa tells him the hospital can wait. Brady searches the room and finds a Salem Inn room number written on a paper. John, Theresa, and Brady now follow that lead ... Nicole discusses Parker with Dario. She thinks the lad is lovely and Dario smiles he loves her. She loves him more and is glad he is there for Mel as a remaining reminder of Daniel. She thought they would be forever. Dario is sympathetic. Nicole breaks down about Daniel being gone all over again. Dario is sorry for her sorrow. Nicole has been reading some books but only time will heal her wounds she thinks. Dario suggests she fall in love again. He admires how their honesty brought them closer though she senses he really referring to someone besides Daniel ... As dangerous music plays, Deimos wonders who changed Victor's mind. It must have been Maggie. Victor coldly claims he has had enough of conflict and wants the best for his wife soooo ... he will hereby accept his guilt, the fact that he is to blame for the argument that led to Helena's death. He also admits he let Deimos take the fall ... Joey and Fynn arrive at the pub together. Joey is surprised to see Steve tending bar. Fynn gets a call. Steve sides with Kayla about the therapy appointment with Marlena tonight. Joey tells his friend Fynn coffee will have to wait until another time and goes with his mom. Steve drawls he wants a word with Fynn ... Brady and Theresa arrive at the empty room at the Salem Inn. Theresa can feel that Tate was here ... Summer weeps it meant so much to meet mama Maggie and Maggie weeps with her. Summer apologizes for the mess she made with Brady, Theresa, and Victor but is not sorry she met her mom. When she walks away Maggie falls apart in her wheelchair ... Deimos seems smug. He grandiosely apologizes for the hell he put Victor and Maggie through. Victor suddenly snaps he will NOT accept his apology. Deimos tries to play the peacemaker and points out they should put the past behind them. Victor gives him the cold shoulder. They may now move on but he alludes to the fact that they will never have any kind of relationship. He departs with a grimace and Deimos closes the door ... Kayla walks outside with Joey and informs her son she updated Marlena on the situation. Joey accuses her of hating his girlfriend. Kayla believes she is a bad influence and wants him to get his life back on track. Joey lets her know he LOVES Jade. He feels full of pressure and calls their families screwed up. Matter of fact he feels she and dad need counseling just as much as he does ... Steve warns friendly Fynn to stop trying to use his son in his quest to seduce Kayla. He can see right through him ... Nicole explains she does not want to betray Daniel. Dario reasons the only way to betray someone who is dead is to turn your back on love. He believes Daniel would agree. He goes on to praise her honesty. He wants to be honest with her as well and she lets out a nervous little laugh. As it turns out Dario's honest admission is that right now he longs to KISS her ... Nicole gives Dario the friends only speech and Deimos calls. Dario suggests she answer cos he knows she wants to. She does and Deimos gushes he has good news he wants to tell her in person. She should come over. Nicole replies she will let him know ... Steve forewarns Fynn he is NOT giving up on Kayla and he means it! Meanwhile Joey feels his mom is fooling herself about his father. She notes she and Steve would eventually make each other miserable. Joey the hopeful romantic disagrees, adding she needs a therapy session to see the truth ... Brady is baffled by Summer's behavior. Theresa suspects she was throwing them off all along. He embraces her and apologizes for ever doubting her. All of a sudden, he sees Tate's rattle behind the furniture and they gasp in horror. He deduces whoever was in this room on day Tate was taken is the very person who has him. But the clock is ticking ... THE END! |
