Thursday, July 28, 2016 Episode 12,892 Length:1620 descriptive words Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Theresa dreams and tosses and turns in the dark ... Brady is on his phone suggesting his man try again! Click, He sighs and remembers the scene when he found sleepy Theresa but no Tate. He also remembers her screaming at Victor, who taunted he could make her suffer more. Brady had growled at granddad to leave her alone and Theresa had cried on his shoulder. He has a bad feeling about the whole thing. John and Paul - the father and son investigative team - are back with burgers. Brady updates them on wanting Wayne to go to the square to ask around. Alas no one saw anything the day Tate was taken. He laments it has been too long with nothing! John suggests he stay focused cos Tate needs him. He reminds him he is here for him as well. Brady wonders whether it really might have been Victor after all ... Victor and Maggie are thrilled to see smiling Sonny. Adrienne arrives and mother emotionally hugs son. Sonny is sorry he could not come home sooner and alludes to a mysterious business transaction. Victor tells him there is no need to be sorry. Meanwhile the blackmailed doctor is with Deimos discussing consent forms for Maggie. He demands to know what Deimos is really up to ... Justin gets tea for the family and asks what Sonny was busy with in Paris. Real estate and he hands Victor a document with lots of dollars attached. He gushes he is giving Victor the proceeds from the building he gave him. He waited and sold when the price was right. The former tycoon is touched and tells him he is the best of them all ... Deimos angrily advises the doctor he owes him NO explanation. Furthermore he merely wants to do right by Maggie. He threatens to expose him if he does not do as told. Now it is time they go tell Maggie together. Her Rockette legs will walk again ... Summer paces her room feeling like a prisoner, aware she is totally tailed so escape is impossible ... John questions what Victor could have gained by kidnapping Tate. It sounds off to the experienced one. But Brady believes he wanted to set up Summer and thinks they missed something too ... Deimos interrupts the Kiriakis reunion and greets Jackson for the first time. He flatters Adrienne, who scoffs. Victor reacts unfavorably when he finds out the surgeon who turned him down agreed to operate on Maggie and help her walk as per Deimos' request. He suspiciously wonders what the dastardly Deimos really wants. Maggie would rather focus on the future. She knows the reputation of this doctor and wants to walk again. Deimos smiles and gives them their privacy but in reality he remains by the door ... Maggie reminds raging Victor that he tried to get the doctor too. Deimos lurks and listens at the door. Justin, Adrienne, and Sonny step back in the room and Justin suggests he not turn Deimos down. Victor just wants his Maggie back. Deimos pipes up he will not regret it and flaunts his noble intentions... Sonny snaps if he wanted to do the right thing then he would give Victor his money back and all that he stole from him! Deimos slyly smiles he seeks to make Victor whole again. He is sure Justin will agree. Justin looks worried ... Paul remembers a pro player who was an ace at stealing bases so he lost his focus on the batter. Perhaps they are the pitcher and the kidnapper was the base stealer who wanted them to lose their focus! The kidnapper wanted them to wrongly focus on Victor! Brady deduces they also wanted to set up Victor. John now talks Summer being blackmailed by the Chopin Group, which is a Greek import export biz but their backers have ties to the old school Greek mob. John has found a photo of said Greek mobsters from the old days and they recognize DEIMOS! Just then Theresa storms in screaming about a dream she had the showed her Summer was the one who took Tate ... Deimos grandiosely offers Victor half of his holdings and Titan. However, he wants Basic Black and the money and the house. Victor gets sarcastic. Deimos hopes he will not reject him and makes nice with Maggie, declaring she did not deserve what happened. She quips HE would know! Deimos praises Sonny, whom he looks forward to knowing better and bids the family goodbye. Victor does not believe any of it and would rather get Maggie ready for the surgery than decide what to do about Deimos' offer. He thanks Sonny for the new leverage. Justin suggests the good offer might be on the level. Victor sends him off to spend time with his son and Adrienne ... But once alone, Maggie wants Victor to decide ... Deimos shows his old school mobster side when talks tough with the doctor at the square. He tells him to wait for his call that is all ... Theresa thinks the woman who took Tate was Summer with a hat and tacky shirt and wants to pressure her but Brady does not believe in that dream. John notes they cannot be sure. Theresa screams, then apologizes. She goes but she is clearly NOT going to give up! John purses his lips and looks worried ... Theresa has now told the PI tailing Summer to take a break and enters her room. She confronts her to confess cos she remembers it was her! So she thinks ... Sonny loves the way the new club looks and Justin is surprised. His father knew not Ed was the new owner. Sonny finds out his folks are apart but friends forever. They ask how he is as they sit at their table. Sonny tells his folks he found it far too painful in Salem as he was reminded of Will so he left to think. He notes Will and he were in a bad place when Will was killed and mentions Paul ... Deimos now enters the club. He interrupts, asking for a favor. He needs them to convince Victor to accept his offer. He insists he is being sincere, suggests Justin is on his side, and leaves. Adrienne is baffled by his belief that Justin would agree with him. Sonny admits he has even less trust in Deimos now that he has met him ... Meanwhile Maggie explains she needs no money or big house she just wants to be with Victor. She has her own funds and urges him to end the war with his brother ... Summer repeats she already said everything. Theresa thinks she now knows it was HER! In her dream she even saw her ill fitting plaid shirt. Summer calls her crazy for imagining as much .Theresa grabs her crying WHERE IS MY SON WHERE IS MY SON! They struggle ... Justin has been summoned to the station by ROMAN. He calls Sonny sunshine and advises him to avoid any involvement with the Deimos drama. Sonny insists he is involved by virtue of the fact that he is a member of the Kiriakis clan. Exit Justin. Sonny wants to hear all about his mother now. When he hears Adrienne is actually happily engaged to Lucas he sighs at least one of them is happy and she tenderly touches his face ... Paul leaves for the campus library for more on the old Greek mobster photos ... John and Brady are off to interrogate Deimos. Brady is unable to forewarn Theresa, who is not answering her phone. He is ready to do battle but John plays it cool ... Summer repeats her story and Theresa screams she set her up. Summer wants to find Brady but Theresa stops her at the door and continues to talk like a tough girl ... At the station clever curious Justin finds out from a cop that Commissioner Roman caught a break in the case of the vanished evidence! He looks grim ... Adrienne is grateful for Sonny's support and hugs him goodnight. He explains he is staying at the Salem Inn. He now stands up while looking at his phone and bumps into Paul at the counter. Paul gushes what is he doing here! Sonny announces he is home where he belongs. Paul smiles and their eyes lock ... Victor steels his nerves with a strong drink and storms out ... Deimos comes home to his mansion, where John is standing and Brady awaits seated. He politely asks what he can he do for them. Brady growls he knows damn well! John drawls they are here to discuss the Chopin Group ... Theresa tells Summer to tell the truth or she will have her crucified. Summer cannot tell her more. Theresa calls her a loser and scum. She screams tell her where Tate is or she will kill her! Summer snaps and taunts she had to have a baby to get her hooks into Brady. She hisses if she accuses her again she will kill her! Theresa turns to leave but Summer clumsily grabs for her. Theresa suddenly stumbles and falls to the floor, hitting her head against a table on the way down. There is a bloody cut on her temple and she is out cold. Summer gasps in horror ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Deimos is cornered by a barrage of questions. Steve works the club.
