The board needs the office for a temporary replacement in the morning. Steve wants to still use her computer for his investigation to prove her innocence ... Shirtless Tripp and undershirt Joey are back from a run. Tripp gets a text from Jade, asking about the revenge mission. He admits it was Jade and brother Joey gets annoyed ... At DiMera mansion, fully dressed Chad kisses stylish Gabi and informs her he was on the phone with the jeweler about getting rid of the ring. She smiles about him selling it and they embrace. But she wonders ... Phone Abigail urges Andre to get the laptop. Andre tells her he is watching Abe. She updates him on Dario's blackmail and Andre rages he did not raise her from the dead for Dario! Dario now approaches his "honey" and asks who is on the phone. The smug one has been released ... At the station Rafe wonders who was fool enough to let Dario out. FBI Eli believed he is not a flight risk. He wants witness protection. Rafe warns him to lock the liar up ... Chad waits as Gabi checks her schedule. She looks at her device and freaks out at the news that Dario was arrested. He promised it would not happen! She takes off to go to him. Chad gets to thinking ... Abigail tells "mom" Dario came home. Andre is appalled at the police and promises her he will get that laptop, leave it to him. Meantime she should stay with Dario. After the call Dario suggests they move to a place by the beach. Abigail bitterly alludes to loathing him. He reminds her if she does not join him the police will see the picture on his iphone that was returned to him. He orders her to pack. Abigail glares at him ... Kayla assures Steve she was not hacked according to the IT guy. Steve has another angle in mind. He asks her to check who was working on the three shifts she was set up. Kayla loves how he takes care of her. He tells her to get clicking ... Tripp brings up Ava again and tells Joey that he has pictures and she looks nice. Joey replies she was good at fooling people. However, they are family - brother Joey, papa Steve and stepmom Kayla who cares. Tripp scoffs and begs to differ ... Andre passes Gabi on her hasty way out and joins Chad. They discuss Dario. Andre slyly suggests he go discuss the security that was put in place for Countess W with Lucas. Chad explains he has to be here as the nanny for Thomas is out. Andre offers to be there for Thomas and tells him to get going. Chad starts to get suspicious ... Dario gets intense with defiant Abigail. Either she comes with him or Chad goes to jail. The choice is crystal clear ... Tripp tells Joey how hard Kayla was on Jade. Joey advises him not to accept everything Jade says. He adds Kayla did so much for stepson Tripp when he shadowed her on her rounds. Tis a travesty that she was unjustly suspended. Tripp assumes she will still have a nice life. Joey notes not being a doctor would destroy his mom ... Steve and Kayla have a clue - nurse Shelley was the only nurse or doctor working all three shifts in question. Kayla cannot believe it. Steve soon has an update on that same nurse being fired from her last job for insubordination. That gives means, motive and opportunity. But where oh where is the evidence? ... Suited Andre explains to Chad that they need to assure the shareholders the company is safe so he should ask Lucas about the new cyber security. Abe storms in and and lets them know he does not approve of them hiring Theo. Andre smoothly states if he wants Theo to stop working for DiMera, all they need is the laptop back to remove the company material. Abe would absolutely like Theo away from them and their company material. Andre happily tells him then Theo is terminated so bring the computer back ... As Abigail argues with packing dastardly Dario, Gabi bursts in and blasts her brother. He claims things just happened. Gabi asks if what Rafe said is true - Abigail wed Dario to help him get his green card. Yes. Gabi assumes she is officially out of the picture as Dario is not being deported. He, however, says she is coming with him and calls her honey. Abigail soap stares. She then fibs she wants a future with Dario and has to leave Thomas for now, which she does not like. Gabi warns Dario better not be ... He stops his sister with a hug and she leaves, upset. Dario assures Abigail she did the right thing ... Chad explains he wished to hire Theo in memory of late mother Lexie. Abe is angry about what Stefano did to Lexie still. Chad notes Stefano is not in charge anymore. Abe cannot help but notice how Andre is in such a hurry to get the laptop back. Andre threatens to hire lawyers. Abe snaps to Chad if he wants it back he has to fire Andre first ... Joey gives grateful Tripp a bottle of water. Tripp gets him talking about the trouble Kayla is facing. Joey confides that Steve smells a setup and is investigating. Tripp takes off in a hurry. Joey takes a long look at the Ava pictures he left behind ... Abe will not allow Theo to work with Andre! Chad believes Theo is a good moral Carver who deserves credit for who he is. He promises Abe he did not get him to do anything he would not approve of. Abe gives Andre the evil eye and asks if he can say the same. Chad asks him to just give Theo a chance. Andre holds his tongue ... Dario is pleased with Abigail's decision. She warns him she will never love him even though she is going with him. Eli calls and orders Dario down to the department with the proof against his partner as promised. The witness protection has been approved. Chad reminds him his wife is coming with and orders Abigail to hurry. Eli the FBI dealmaker of his dreams is waiting ... Kayla reads a grateful letter from the family of a patient she saved. There are many such letters. Steve believes they are well on their way to solving the setup. They hug ... Abe sighs he understands where Chad is coming from. Andre notes working Theo would need his computer to get back to his work. Abe will consider and walks out. Chad demands Andre explain why he is so obsessed about the computer. Andre airily states he has a call to make and waltzes out. Gabi rushes in and gasps to Chad that Dario is going away with Abigail. She is not taking Thomas and asked her to love him like he was her own. Chad knows that is not right and goes to get to the bottom of the matter. Alas he has left before Gabi has a chance to tell him about the fake marriage ... Abigail manages a moment alone amid packing and calls Andre. She warns him Dario has the phone with the picture and is demanding she go with him. Andre says not to panic for he will find a solution. Abigail begs him to hurry. She ends the call as Dario comes in and fibs it was her mother. Dario grabs the phone and looks down at the last number she called. Dangerous music plays. No caller I.D. Abigail reminds him Jen is a reporter. She was asking her to bring Thomas to the station so she could say goodbye. He promises to make it up to her and growls they must go now ... Joey looks down at a smiling picture of Ava and sadly states he is sorry. Then he soap stares ... Steve is off to investigate Shelley and kisses Kayla, urging her to keep the faith. Once alone, she takes down her medical license, placing it in her box. The tears flow ... Tripp steps out of the elevator and Steve is surprised to see him. He anxiously asks if he has proof against Shelley. Steve informs him he was just helping Kayla the good doctor pack up her office. He vows to find the fiend who framed her and make them pay ... Eli updates Rafe that Dario and Abigail are en route. Rafe can see Eli is nervous about something and deduces Dario is turning state's evidence against someone big. He wonders whether Abigail is even aware of what she is getting into. Something is not right ... As Dario walks to the door with Abigail, Chad the hero arrives and asks where they are going. Then he looks deeply into to anguished eyes of the woman he loves ... END! |
