There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Paige cannot decide what to wear tonight. Eve suggests the white blouse and muses she is seeing JJ. First she has something to say ... about Dr, Daniel Jonas! Paige wonders. Eve sighs she did not say he was Jen’s ex! Paige does not see the significance. Eve tells the tale of them getting … closer and Jen flipping out. She would have done different had she been aware he once belonged to Jen. Paige gets suspicious, given her flirty mother’s history with men. Many men! - JJ is with Dan and his guitar at the house, thanking Dan for the perfect present. Jen is meeting with her lawyer. Dan asks how things are. The lad laments bad cos the moms of him and the girl of his dreams are on opposite sides! Paige’s mom is putting on the pressure. Dan adds the fact that the lawsuit is about his dad adds pressure too and advises the young man not to choose between his mama and the girl of his dreams. - Attorney Aiden is strategizing with Jen at the club when he steps away for a call. Nicole gingerly approaches, anxious to talk to her. Jen blows her off, then apologizes as she has much to deal with and is here to confer on a case with her lawyer. Nicole is sympathetic when Jen states she is being sued over the profits from Jack’s book. Nicole is equally sorry about her break with Dan. Jen questions her sincerity. - Tormented Eric awaits the bishop in his serene office, remembering his recent closeness with Nicole. His bishopness arrives and announces there has been a major development. - Brady begs coma John to open his eyes and tell him off. John sleeps on in his hospital bed. Brady begs again. Woman in black Maggie enters and is sorry for Brady, who blames himself for putting his father here. The redhead hugs the anxious addict, who has no memory of what really went down. Now what to do? He fears his father could die and his blue eyes are filled with torment ... - Theresa the terrible is in the hospital lounge leaving a desperate message cos she needs help! Enter Victor and the grimacing Greek is not amused. He thunders he will make her pay! The girl cringes. The Greek glowers. She plays innocent. He growls she tricked his drunken son into a quickie wedding in Vegas, which must be what he and John then fought about. Theresa denies it and excuses herself. The Kiriakis stops her and tells it like it is. He will DESTROY HER! - In a humble apartment, an invisible banshee moans. Eve sips her very big mug of tea. Paige points out she had told her she was off men and now she is after Dr. Jonas? Eve protests as they are only friends. Paige believes this man is the wrong one for her mom and does not want to pick up the pieces this time. The banshee sings yeeeeeeeeeeeah. Mama Eve admits she does not do lonely well and gets a sad look in her tired eyes. She urges her daughter to date well. The banshee agrees as they exchange I love yous. Eve does not want Paige to suffer the pain she has with relationships, hence her advice. She gathers she likes JJ but advises her to take care of her precious heart and not rush into anything with him. Otherwise she could end up just like her! - Dan sits with JJ and gives him a pep talk about the future working itself out. For now he should focus on Paige. He also feels Eve cares for Paige enough to keep her out of the drama she has with Jen. The banshee starts to stir in the background as JJ notes Dan knows Eve. Dan explains she is his patient no more. JJ is relieved and asks after the status of him and his own mom. Pause. - At the club, Nicole announces she wants to apologize for the mess that led to Dan and Jen’s breakup. She is here taking responsibility, unlike Jen! - Eric eagerly awaits the verdict of his vocation situation. The ecclesiastic in the pink cap points out the evidence was destroyed and what was salvaged was tampered with. He believes in his innocence. However, the holy case is under scrutiny so something must be done. Some of a drastic nature. Eric worriedly wonders. - Dan drawls things are between him and Jen so he would rather not discuss. A soulful guitar strums in the background as JJ wishes for simpler days, when his dad was in the picture. Abigail is having a tough time, his girl is off to Stanford soon, and it feels like the whole world is falling apart. Dan suggests he cherish the good times and live for the moment. - At the club, Nicole calls Daniel a good and loyal man so Jen must have messed up this time. Silence. Nicole notes it now seems Jen messes up as much as her! Jen hisses that would be impossible. Voices are raised. Aiden reappears and urges the ladies to keep up appearances or take it outside. Nicole’s parting shot is that Jen might not be good enough for Dan anyway and she takes her leave. Jen blinks. - Eric is shocked by what the bishop has suggested. His Excellency notes if he does as advised, things could work out. Eric feels he needs guidance and would therefore like to meet with Brother Timothy, the monk who became his spiritual advisor ... - Maggie explains to Brady he has now hit rock bottom. It is a good sign he wants to change and she is proud. Brady sheds a tear over how rude he was with her. She realized it was really the booze talking. He gasps he cannot remember what he did to his da and it will haunt him forever! - Theresa tells Victor she was helping Brady and even rescued him. The Greek growls to save it and warns she will not get any money from the billionaire heir. Enter said billionaire in his purple shirt, sponsor Maggie with him. Brady soaps stares and demands to know what this is all about! - JJ opens the Horton front door to smiling Paige in the white outfit. He gushes his dream girl looks great for their date tonight. She smiles and they kiss. She wonders what movie they are seeing. The hot blooded teen, however, suggests they stay home, given the house is empty. They will be all alone. The girl agrees. JJ gives her a long kiss. - Theresa pretends Victor was welcoming her to the clan. The Greek ignores her and asks Brady how he is coping. Maggie stands by her man. Brady asks for a moment alone with Theresa. Exit Maggie and Victor. Brady deduces his dangerous granddad threatened to destroy her. She smiles she handled him. Now what to discuss? Brady thinks she already knows what he has on his mind. Outside the room, Victor and Maggie run into Abe, who is anxious to question Brady. Victor gets suspicious. Dan comes by with his backpack and greets the pair. Victor asks Dan to drive the redhead home. After they have gotten in the elevator, Victor lets his rage show. Abe had better not be here to arrest his grandson! Abe folds his arms and his eyes widen. He knows this is not going to be easy. - The bishop has now summoned Nicole to his office. She asks if Eric is being reinstated. Kristen was totally to blame and she is on the run! The benevolent bishop claims the committee could not completely accept the evidence, as it had already been compromised. Nicole gets nervous about Eric judging her. His Excellency smiles he does not judge. Nicole laments Eric does. In fact, she fears he hates her and will never forgive her! - Paige and JJ discuss Dan and Eve. JJ suspects Eve went after Dan as he was her mom’s boyfriend. Paige insists her mom had no idea Dan once belonged to his mom. JJ accepts the explanation. Paige now asks if he is hungry. He was but not when he saw her. She feels the same way and they get back to kissing. - Aiden explains to Jen that he has filed to have her case dismissed before it even goes to trial. Jen is hopeful and is most grateful for all the hours he is spending on the lawsuit. Aiden admits he needs to keep busy to keep himself out of trouble ... - Maggie is with Dan at the house of Kiriakis, sharing her relief that Brady is sober and ready for his meetings again. Daniel feels good about his mother’s assistance and says so. He then announces he is going out of town tomorrow. A conference and another continent await ... - Brady reminds Theresa their so-called marriage got off to a bizarre start. She gasps she did not trick him into it. Brady refers to the nightmare of the last little while and adds the time has come to go their separate ways. She woefully wants to be friends. But Brady makes no promises.Theresa looks ready to cry. He explains his intention to stay sober. She cries she cares for him and is sorry about his father’s situation. She knows Brady does not deserve to go to jail! Brady thanks her for the sentiment. Still he has to face the music. How he wishes John would wake up and tell him his story ... - Eric has his arm around matriarch Caroline at the family pub. She wants an update and seems to hope he can be reinstated as a priest. She offers to help. He admits there is only ONE person who can help him now ... - The bishop believes Nicole when she assures him she already helped with the evidence. He adds there is something else she can do, she can be a witness on a whole new level ... - Hot and bothered JJ removes his shirt. Paige gasps like a virgin. He kisses her with ardor and starts to unbutton her top. Paige remembers her mother’s warning that she could end up like her. She stammers, then shoves the baffled boy off, snapping to STOP! - Dan was thinking of inviting Parker to visit Mel with him. Maggie wonders about John. Dan drawls he no longer needs a surgeon and offers to stay in town for her if so required. The redhead realizes what he really requires is time away from the drama of Jen. Dan sighs after she saw him with Eve, he decided he could use a sabbatical from the fairer sex. Maggie understands. They embrace and he starts to go. She merrily wishes him bon voyage. Dan now runs into Jen, who gasps. They soap stare. - Theresa is at the town square talking to herself. She will go to LAX and run back to her parents. Eve comes up behind her and taunts does the new hubby know she is planning to make her great escape?! - Abe warns Victor he cannot tell him details about the case. The Greek growls his grandson needs an attorney. Brady appears and admits he knows what he did so no need for an attorney. He then pauses and wonders whether Abe bears news he is not yet aware of .... - JJ wonders what is the matter. Paige freaks out and accuses him of not stopping fast enough. She buttons her blouse and bolts, not listening to his claim he is sorry and got carried away like a guy. Now all alone, JJ notices Jack’s picture and gets to thinking. - Jen asks if she is interrupting. Dan breathes he was just leaving. Jen woefully watches him vanish from view. She now warns Maggie the lawsuit will be in the paper tomorrow. The redhead updates her on Dan’s plan to travel with Parker after his medical conference. He could be gone a very looooong time ... - Eric informs Caroline that his case has been referred to a HIGHER AUTHORITY. But there is a condition attached ... - Nicole is stunned to learn from His Excellency that Eric’s case is going to the VATICAN! The ecclesiastic in the pink cap elaborates. Nicole is hereby required to venture to the Vatican with Eric and act as the witness in his case ... - Eve knows something is off and demands sister Theresa tell all. Theresa leaves in a tizzy. Eve is exasperated. What has that girl gone and done this time! - Back at the hospital, Abe announces there is something new. Tomorrow the final forensics report will be in and Brady could be charged with attempted murder. Victor stares darkly. But Brady takes it like a man. THE END |
