Adrienne follows Justin to the Kiriakis mansion, mad about the divorce bombshell he dropped on her without any warning. He is still angry about her affair and gets sarcastic in his slick lawyer manner ... Kate meets Lucas at the park to discuss a deal. He wonders why she thinks he would even listen. For Will's sake, that is why. A frown creases his brow and he listens ... Marlena drops by the apartment to see Will. He sighs he screwed up with Sonny again. Marlena is sympathetic ... At the club casual Rafe brings up another ball game with Will, Sonny, and Ben. Sonny busies himself with coffee and informs him Abigail just moved in with Ben, who must be busy. Rafe takes it all in and tells him he will see him later. After he has sauntered out, Paul, who was lurking and looking in from the outside, walks in for a word with Sonny. He insists it is important ... Hope is at the square when she gets a strange call from Sanchez about some telling surveillance. The subject seems to have gone into the lion's den ... At DiMera mansion, Clyde wants to introduce himself but Stefano stops him ... Stefano's loaded words ..! Theo insists Abi and Chad have fun at the lake with him soon just like before. Abigail explains she is here for a file. Theo becomes upset. Chad assures him he will be there and Abigail agrees as well. Once the therapist escorts thrilled Theo for his session, Chad leers she was lying ... Rafe catches up with Hope, his friend, his unofficial partner in fighting crime, and she updates him on Clyde's bold move. They joke about the villains doing the world a favor by killing each other, then come to the conclusion that there would be too many casualties ... Stefano does not stand for his guest. Clyde gets straight to the point, explaining they have common business interests. However his tend to be local not like Stefano's international reach, and he intends to expand. He warns the phoenix that arrogance does not work well with him and suggests he check with Victor. Stefano chuckles at the folly of his ways. Clyde keeps going and slips a bug underneath the table ... He hopes Kate will not be an issue and notes Stefano has since moved on with many women ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Justin needs a drink. Adrienne needs an explanation. He reasons he was discreet about his distant meaningless affair with Else, whereas she made a fool of him by flaunting her affair with Lucas, acting more like it was a real relationship. Surely she did not expect him to take being made a fool of forever! With that he storms out ... Will woefully admits his mistakes to Marlena, from Sonny finding out about the article for their therapist to his infidelity with the screenwriter assigned to help him in Hollywood. He had gone after Will with a vengeance after learning he had married the first man he loved ... Paul gets Sonny to agree to a conversation outside the club. He claims Derek, who is back in town, brought up the drama of coming out, the fact that Paul did not seem ready for marriage. Sonny scoffs, suspicious of Derek and his motives. But Paul pointing out the steps of coming out makes him realize he may have rushed Will ... Kate coos she is offering Lucas the gift of Paul. Lucas is puzzled. Kate knows Countess W wanted someone for their new campaign as well and that someone could and should be Paul, to keep him away from Will and Sonny. Lucas gets it since he would be based in San Diego for the duration of that campaign. He then stops himself and lashes out at Kate for her meddling ways. Kate complains Justin encouraged Paul to come to Salem for Sonny so she is no worse. Lucas has heard quite enough. He considers Will old enough to work at his own marriage ...Marlena wants Will to take responsibility for the fact that he cheats. It already happened twice. He accuses her of calling him a s*lut. Marlena sympathetically suggests he speak to someone about his problem ... Hope and Rafe deduce the daring move of Clyde to come to Stefano's lair might have been to counter the fact that he felt targeted. He knew the phoenix would not have him killed in his own home. Hope decides to update Victor. Rafe wishes her luck, assures her he is here should she need backup, and admires the view as she walks away ... Stefano's thug arrives and he thunders at Clyde to get out. Clyde plays it cool, calls him big boy, and leaves of his own accord. Stefano laughs at the audacity ... When Kate sneaks in a snide remark about Adrienne, lover boy Lucas loses his cool and leaves ... Kate later notices Sonny and Paul having an intense discussion outside the club. She slips in for a much needed drink and texts Will about what she saw ... Sonny sighs he has to go home and talk to Will ... Will updates Marlena on his message about Sonny. He seems to be on his way home to speak with him. She urges him to let Sonny talk first and listen. Will thanks her for the support and they embrace and exchange I love yous ... Abi assures Chad she will be at the lake, with Ben! Chad leers they both got what they wanted out of their passionate night together. He got his revenge on her for being with EJ while she got to be with a guy who can finish his sentences. He gets vulgar about his new conquest hot Zoe and Abigail departs, declaring he is disgusting ... Hope heads to the house of Kiriakis and asks Justin to pass on the news of Clyde seeking out Stefano to Victor. She adds she is sorry about his problems with Adrienne. Justin admits they have ended up like her and Bo. Hope gasps she wants a divorce?? ... Lucas is fixing his tie when Adrienne the frazzled female comes over crying. She cries and screams about the divorce papers from Justin. Lucas wonders why ... Paul approaches Kate at her club table. She is cold as ice when he accepts her offer and refuses to negotiate. He will have everything in writing soon and suggests their working relationship be one of civility and respect. Kate sarcastically states then he should stay away from her grandson's husband ... Hope gets a tragic look in her eye and advises Justin not to be rash. Justin admits he actually drew up the divorce papers and already delivered them. She is sorry and understands how devastated he must feel. She always assumed Adrienne and Justin would last forever ... Clyde catches up with Abigail at the square. He praises her for making his boy Ben happy and hands her a gift certificate for a furniture store. His son's happiness means everything to him. Abi smiles. As she walks away, he glares at her, muttering she had better stay away from Chad ...Marlena catches Chad at the hospital and thanks him profusely for helping when Stefano kidnapped her. He assumes she informed the police in Salem. No she did not since Stefano was overseas, out of reach. Chad updates her on his triumphant return. The tax charges were dropped and the DiMera don is here to stay... Sonny arrives and Will cannot stop himself from saying he knows he was speaking with Paul. Sonny exclaims is he having him followed?! Will stammers someone who saw them told him. Sonny wants him to know this conversation is only about THEM. Will hastily states he loves him. Sonny does not doubt that and adds they both made mistakes ... Marlena regains her composure and smiles she is here for Chad if he ever needs to have a confidential conversation. Chad appreciates it ... Clyde listens to Stefano calling Harold to make cook use a certain recipe, his plan to go in the garden. Clyde is smug about his bug working ...Adrienne sobs she does not know what she wants and cries on Lucas' shoulder like a baby. He gently consoles her and holds her close ... Paul coldly advises Kate to keep any conversation between them about business ... Back at the apartment, Sonny explains to Will that Paul pointed out something. It made Sonny realize what went wrong has not just been Will's fault, but his as well ... Will waits with bated breath to learn what, if anything, comes next for the couple ... THE END!
