Andre soap stares ... At the station Rafe gushes he told his mom about the engagement. He hugs and dips Hope and she agrees to call mama, whom Rafe insists is a fan of his joy. They kiss in bliss. But Paul and cuffed Sonny are at the station, unable to kiss in bliss. Paul assures him Brady is in control at Titan but told him he wants Sonny back in action as well. Sonny laments he will have a loooong wait. Paul believes in his innocence but Sonny has self-doubts ... Justin meets Marlena at the park. She is sorry about Sonny and agrees to hypnotize him to help his memories. How about now? They are on their way to save the day for Sonny ... At the pub Lani and Eli bump and a symbolic coffee spill surprises them both ... Andre wishes Abigail would not have divorced Chad but she believes he loves another. Andre wishes she had had a betta reason for the crack in the family. Now he bids her sit and asks why she is here. It is about Dario. Andre loathes the Hernandez lot. Abigail brings up DiMera territory so Andre is all ears. He agrees to keep her secret. Abigail announces Dario is a counterfeiter and there is more! She is determined to stop him, hence her need for elegant Andre's assistance ... Back at the station Hope impatiently awaits the DNA results from the girlie magazine. Rafe disagrees it could have been Xander but Hope is no stranger to the unexpected. Anything to save Sonny ... Paul and Sonny hold hands as Paul woefully apologizes for no new hot leads. Sonny is touched. Knock knock! Tis Justin and Marlena, who came to hypnotize him. She gets his permission to record as this is related to a police investigation. Sonny would like his loved ones to stay. And so it begins ... Lani and Eli discuss their shirt coffee stains and the case. He deduces she is doing well with JJ again after the party. She admits his arrest brought them closer. Eli looks disappointed ... Andre presses for details and what Abigail's agenda is. She first seeks to find out what Dario is planning to do. Andre warns she could be dragged down with him. She believes he can be legit but Andre warns he might take after his fatha of shady deals infamy. Abigail adds it is in DiMera's best interest to help her stop Dario before he does something ... So... she needs to break into his work computer. Andre giggles he has got the perfect potential hacka for that job ... Andre now announces the imminent arrival of the DiMera's top IT genius. He admits he finds it odd that Abigail refers to Dario as a friend. Theo enters and wonders about the job. Abigail steps away and states to Andre she would rather not involve him. Andre insists he is trustworthy with everything including her life. Theo blinks ... At the square Val teases coffee stained Eli and asks about work. He is still uncertain about his move to Salem especially when it comes to women. He laughs abut Julie attempting to set him up with a debutante. She loves hearing about his life and is here to talk. Always ... Marlena asks Sonny about the amulet he had when he saw Deimos. Sonny was starting to feel in a dizzy fog as Deimos taunted him. He remembers Deimos ripping the amulet from his neck but he could not follow him. The rest is unclear. Marlena gets him to deep breathe. He continues ... The next thing he remembers is seeing dead Deimos in the middle of the living room floor, the knife in his heart. Marlena probes. Sonny suddenly remembers moving the body as he was afraid he would be implicated. Standing nearby Paul and Justin silently listen, their eyes reflecting their concern. Marlena chooses to end the session. Sonny opens his eyes and sighs it seems he did do it. Justin and Paul point out it has not been proven. Justin knows he would not have done it except in self-defense. Marlena is sorry for the wrong outcome and exits. When she walks out she congratulates engaged Rafe and Hope, who asked about the outcome, a question she did not answer ... Eli changes the subject from his lack of love life to Val and Abe. He now gets a call and accepts a new assignment ... Abe greets Lani at the pub and suggests she stop scaring her old man. He now brings up the Deimos case and praises her for her hard work, which produced a clue. She downplays the card but he is proud. She has high hopes for the future. Abe smiles for he senses his beauty is just getting started ... Andre assures Abigail that Theo will find out what she needs to know and wot she does with the information is entirely up to her. Theo starts to feel uneasy so Andre flatters him, declaring he does have to be discreet. He assures him Abigail would not lead him down a dark hole. Theo is in. Andre asks him to get into GDR's computa files. Theo snaps that is not legal. Andre reasons as the wife of Dario, Abigail is part owner and is asking them to do so. Theo agrees to help her though he smells trouble. Andre smiles, happy to have the family working together ... Val asks how far away Eli will be on this new assignment. In the warehouse district of Salem mostly. She hugs him in relief and Abe arrives. Eli now excuses himself to see about security clearance, only to run into Lani. He updates her on the FBI investigating counterfeit bills. It could be traced to a crime family of Salem. His job is to find out and he is allowed one officer on his team. He selects HER and she smiles with stars in her eyes ... Theo explains he will have to be able to get into the computer systems at GDR so Abigail calls Dario to go for an evening jog. She finds out he and Myron will be out of the office together a couple of hours. She starts to lose her nerve but not Theo ... Paul refuses to believe Sonny killed Deimos. Justin tells his son to keep the faith and goes for a phone call. Paul and Sonny hug while outside the room Hope tells Rafe the DNA test results are in ... Lani accepts FBI Eli's offer to be his partner. She knows JJ would approve as she loves high end detective work. He agrees they have come a long way and they share a heartfelt handshake ... Marlena and her coffee are happy to see Abe and Val at the square cafe. Val goes to call a patient after letting her know she would love another ladies night. Abe is happy that Val is feeling at home in Salem. Marlena credits him with that. He admits he has been having feelings about Lexie. Marlena asks what kind. Feelings of betrayal. Marlena assures him the late Lexie would not want him to be alone. Abe glances over at Val ... Abigail gets Theo into the office. She will stand guard outside and he sits at the computer. She struggles to remember the password but Theo is a pro and gets in with ease ... Back at the station smart detective Hope is mad there was no match with Xander. Paul has overheard and does a double take. Xander of sinister Kiriakis fame?! ... Theo asks Abigail where to look. She asks for financial records. He has made a copy then gasps he got something. Abigail takes a closer look ... Paul deduces Xander could have killed Deimos and discusses with Detective Hope, who complains they could not get a single print. Rafe reasons he could not have been two places at the same time and they walk off. But Paul knows a hot lead when he smells one. He places a call to a trusted source, requesting his help ... Meanwhile across the ocean ... muscular prisoner Xander reads his favorite girlie magazine. His eyes dart from side to side and he smirks like a man who has it all ... END! |
