She pours Steve coffee and he bids her sit. She feels she might be gone from medicine forever given her mistake but Steve smells a set-up! Meanwhile at the park Tripp tells Jade to stop playing games and come clean ... Still chez Eric, Nicole is sorry she is feeling sorry for herself about Holly, whom she cannot lose. Eric exclaims will she tell Brady of their kiss or not ... Dario comes out in his towel and Abigail confronts him about the bag of cash. He declares it was his profit he had no time to deposit from the club from the night before. She is sorry she was suspicious and excuses herself to work. But the seeds of doubt have been cast ... Jade pretends she meant people like Kayla do not ever get punished and she worries Tripp will be caught. The time has come to let go of the anger and look for happiness ... Eric breathes he wants things to work out for Nicole and Brady. Nicole looks torn and knows what she has to do ... Kayla thinks she is without enemies. Steve will investigate and she gets the sweetness discount! This is for her and those she helps. He will stop the set-up fiend and kisses her, off to get started ... Tripp is surprised that Jade cares about him. She admits she is trying to forget Joey still. Tripp grins to fall for someone new and moves in. The pair passionately kiss ... Abigail asks a contact at the station for a listening device as a favor. A bug! Done. Meanwhile shirtless Dario hides another smaller bag behind the headboard, containing cash he wants to conceal ... Intense Eric gets closer to Nicole, aniticipating her answer. Brady catches them in such smoldering close proximity and his blue eyes blink in bewilderment. He came to apologize to Eric but knew not Nicole was with him. He asks if this is Horton center business. Nicole admits she just remembered something about the night Deimos was murdered. Brady probes. He loses patience and demands how Eric was involved. Nicole nervously notes she only recently remembered they kissed. She tries to explain. Brady gets sarcastic and shoves her away. Then he leaves ... Jade likes Tripp the great kisser. However, she is still confused on account of what happened with Joey. She is to meet her mom for a new start. Tripp smiles he will miss her and wishes her the best. She tells him to text her about Kayla. Tripp tells her about the investigation. Jade warns him to back off before the whole thing blows up. Then she walks away ... Abigail sneaks into Dario's office and plants the bug behind his desk. He arrives and asks what the hell she is up to. Abigail plays it cool. She fibs she was trying to find a pen and paper for the note she wanted to leave about bringing by his lunch to make things look good in case Immigration is watching. Dario smiles and invites her to stay since there is a lot of food in the brown bag - but she excuses herself. He sits and opens a file, unaware of the bug ... At the hospital Steve has questions for the nurse about the entries for orders. The charts are only accessed with passwords. Steve shares his set-up theory. The nurse thinks it was doctor error. He asks who has access to the doctors' passwords. Each doctor has their own. He talks hackers. The nurse haughtily suggests Kayla was wrong to want to be more than a nurse anyway ... Tripp arrives at the pub and on duty Kayla offers to help him study. She takes his order of a burger, smiling it is on the house! He asks whether she is worried. Yes. He hopes she will not go to jail. She mentions losing her license and a malpractice suit. But at least she can watch him become a doctor. Tripp tells her he knows she did not do what she has been accused of ... Brady is home, almost ready for a drink. Nicole approaches. He highly is upset about that kiss. He demands what triggered her memory so she updates him. He snaps she could be in love with Eric still. She begs him to stop and cries she kissed Eric cos of Daniel. Brady is baffled. Nicole notes they were hallucinating from halo and imagined Daniel was there. She agreed to try and forgive Eric for his sake. Then she kissed Dan. So she thought but she was really kissing Eric. Brady looks hurt. She weeps she loves him and had to tell him, but will he forgive her? ... Abigail is listening to Dario. She hears him call Myron about the counterfeit cash in his room. Abigail finds the other bag and counts it. Then she is horrified to hear him order Myron to keep trying to hack into Titan for even more money! Kayla feels unworthy of Tripp's vote of confidence. He explains he lost it when he heard how his mom died. She praises him for forgiving Steve and admits she found it hard to forgive Jade regarding Joey. She warns him not to be taken in by the bad girl. He fumes she is leaving town. Kayla believes it is best to have distance from a troublemaker. Tripp snaps some said the same about his mom and then killed her. He storms off leering he might not be as forgiving as she thought after all ... Steve soon returns and she tells him of their odd conversation. Steve tries to make sense of it. Kayla concludes Tripp is not really over what happened to Ava. Steve takes it all in and tells her of his talk with nurse Shelley. She seems to have an anti-Kayla attitude cos she became a doctor. He now considers her a suspect ... Nicole wants Brady to believe Eric means nothing to her. He snaps to stop and apologizes for ever doubting her. A piano tinkles as she assures him he is her heart. Brady the believer and Nicole now kiss and hug but his blue eyes flicker ... Abigail is making notes at the restaurant downstairs when Eric wonders what is the matter. She needs someone to confide in and admits she uncovered Dario's illegal activities concerning counterfeit cash. He is a nice guy with bad decisions. Eric worriedly asks what else. He talked about doing something to Titan! Eric warns Victor would destroy him. Abigail fears her friend could end up like Ed or even worse dead! She simply has to do something to save him from himself ... Kayla admits a few months ago she had to write nurse Shelley up for expressing doubts to the patients. Steve gets even more suspicious. Kayla disagrees. Steve notes but she said she has no enemies. Kayla gets to thinking ... Tripp talks to Ava's picture and vows to make Kayla pay ... Nicole and Brady cuddle on the couch. He now forgives and understands. She will leave him to his work but how she misses him! He misses her too and they share a kiss. Then she takes him by the hand and leads him upstairs ... Abigail is back in her room and Dario comes home early before she can call someone. He presents her with a red rose and smiles he is home for the day. Thomas is with Chad so he wants to take her down to the lake. She stammers she is seeing a flick with a work friend. He wants to look after her and tells her to quit her job. She reminds him that was not their arrangement, takes a raincheck on the lake date, and politely leaves. Then she phones ANDRE, in need of his unique brand of assistance ... BOOM! |
